2024-02-21 19:57:45 +0000 UTCi'll always be baffled by people who thought criston asked rhaenyra to run away with him because he loved her. he said it right in the show - he wanted to marry her because he knew he messed up by sleeping with her, so he thought marrying her might bring some of his honor back. and him asking shows just how little he knows her and that he would ask her to give up her entire life and legacy to help put a patch the mistake he made. them sleeping together was a bad idea all around but this was the point in which i really started disliking criston.

He is supposed to be a grey character; he has a strong sense of justice, and does not kill without intention but he is also very ruthless and calculated which all makes him neither good nor bad.

He also wasn't in love with Rhaenerya he just wanted to fix his honor. Daemon is a very grey character I don't think he is evil. He doesn't kill without a purpose but he definitely isn't good either. Alicent was tripping this episode let her father manipulate her. I sometimes feel bad for her. But Rhaenerya didn't really owe Alicent the truth especially after she secretly dated her dad

You better start doing it in twos or Im gonna grow even older than Viserys. Whenever you guys mention how you like the slow setup and how it doesn't have to all be action because the good writing carries the momentum of the story I cant help but think of all the HxH champs on here and them going on and on about the greatness of HxH writing... but I can't help but laugh at HxH's "great writing" compared to a show with actual great writing such as HOTD.

Daemon puts his hand up to the horses snout and it reacts by shaking its head and moving backwards. He smelt like a dragon and that smell puts fear into animals since dragons have a predatory smell to them. They are giant beasts after all, its no different then a deer not liking the smell of a wolf.

The velaryon girl daemon was dancing with is lord corlys daughter laena, the little girl that viserys was going to marry a few eps back. Also the smirk at the mention of bloodshed at a wedding had me dying laughing.
