im so late but yes its actually like that. samsung is the biggest example, they had a huge drama where the samsung "princess" left the family because she fell in love with her bodyguard. adding that there are only a few really huge corporations in korea that run the market and basically control the country more than the government does, SK is HUGE on family inheritance etc

Just like the alcohol his body registered it as a toxin and his ability detox him of it. He drank it because if you freeze on the info screen of poison it has stats of : Physical Damage -20% (Skin Hardening) but strength -35% (It says permanently damage muscles but with his ability to regen I'm not sure if that applies to him)

in the manhwa, it was a bit too easygoing lol. I actually appreciate they made this seem hard. Going from E rank to mid-diffing cerberus is a biiiit insane in just 27 chapters lol.

the venom has two effects. one is reduces all physical damage jin woo takes by 20%, but because it is a venom, it also reduces his strength by quite a few points. however, since all poisons and venoms are healed immediately by the system (remember the alcohol thing) the debuff is negated so hes able to enjoy the benefits of the venom without the drawback. so its a full win instead of a compromise

in the manhwa he stabs the middle heads eye then tears through it to the other eye, then jumps on of the side heads and stabs it right through the skull. I think that sequence of events seems bit more plausible, ig the animators wanted to keep it simple?

Oh ok haha. Yeah hyped for it too. Btw if you want a recommendation check out the manhwa Noblesse, I’ve read lots of genres and it’s one of the most memorable ones. Starts off a bit confusing but the story and art are really beautiful and the action scenes are great too

Ah I see. I’ve read lots of different genres and I definitely recommend it, it has a beautiful story and art and the action scenes are awesome. Definitely one of the most memorable manhwa I’ve read. Think it was a bit confusing at first but then it gets seriously good

If that's the case then it would make a bit more sense (though still a stretch imo that one of 6 eyes could seemingly bleed it out and kill it) though I dont recall seeing any notification indicating that that was the case. I'd thought about the possibility too but the initial window explaining it's sudden doubling of capabilities didn't indicate that it would in any way lose any preexisting skills or resistances, I figured it meant it would revert back to its original status which was still immune to the dagger's debuffs

Something I don't get is how buddy killed the cerberus by stabbing one of it's heads in one of its eyes over and over again when even in it's base form (before rage status) it was immune to the debuff effects of his dagger. A bunch of toothpick stabs to the eye for the giant beast wouldn't result in a rain of blood and death lmao love the show but that was a stretch for sure unless I'm missing something

I have no idea if it’s actually like this in South Korea, but in the manwha I have read, they put a big emphasis on family-run corporations. They are always big political/financial powers in the country. So Yoojin being the second son of that construction company means he’s part of a powerful family and probably competing with siblings to be the heir. Kinda like Succession if you’ve seen that. Creating a guild is just another way to expand their influence.

Jinwoo got two rewards for completing 'Courage of the Weak' in the double dungeon. 'Spirit of Rehabilitation' which healed all his injuries he got from the statues and 'Health and Longevity' which nullifies poison and improves regeneration. So he can't just regrow limbs without using a full recovery.

Solo Leveling has always been about the "Rule of Cool" on steroids. Just make some epic animated action scenes and our monkey brains will go: "Nice". It knows exactly what it wants to be and it does that beautifully. I don't think that Cerberus was S-Rank. It might have been A-Rank bcuz think about it, an S-Rank dungeon doesn't necessarily mean all monsters inside are S-Rank level. It's probably like B to S-Ranks or something like that. Just my opinion bcuz there's no way he already defeated an S-Rank so quickly.

Cerberus was an A-Rank enemy, and not even a boss. I'd say Jinwoo is currently a low-tier A rank at this moment. S rank enemies are weaker than S rank Hunters.
