2024-02-26 15:29:02 +0000 UTCOne of the things that makes it great though is to know the references. Gintama shouldnt really ever be a recommendation for newer anime fans. So, so much of its comedy and references will go right over there head. Which is the worst feeling when watching a comedy lol

2024-02-25 23:34:45 +0000 UTCI heard u mention Gintama as a potential prospect... i highly recommend it. It is by far the funniest anime ever, and the plot gets juicy later on in the show. Tho at first you might be like, "this show isn't all that amazing, i was expecting more" because of how highly its rated on MAL. And the first 2 episodes are filler episodes. But....it will, without a doubt, start to grow on u. There really isn't another anime like it. Just don't go in there expecting it to enthrall u like AOT does right away. It does deserve its spot as one of the GOAT. On MAL, the different seasons take up the 4th, 6th, 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, and 22nd spots on the all time greatest anime list. Its lowest rated season is at an 8.8 , and the top rated season has a 9.06
