All due respect to jack, i do think for this particular series jack should sit with McKay. They can throw knowing looks at each other and not have the others be too aware. If he were to sit in his original spot, they would have to do it over Cannon and Carter which can alter their full experience because it would be obvious that something of interest or hypeness was about to happen. This is just my opinion.

If you maybe remember the animators weren't satisfied with that episode and said only 30% of it was done. Now they released a blu ray version that is much closer to what they imagined the original to be. Its only available in Japan and sites like aniwatch haven't updated it yet so you would have to torrent it yourself.

If Jack sits next to McKay, I think you might need to spread out more on the couch. In the last Video when McKay and Brig sat at the edge of the couch, Brig covered half of Cannon and McKay completely covered Jack 😂 it was not for long but in your original spots, whenever someone changed position, no one was blocked. I just think it would be sad missing your facial reactions during the best moments.
