It’s the other way around, actually - the show made the greens infinitely more tolerable/sympathetic 💀 team Green has almost no redeeming qualities in the book. Alicent, for example, is completely unlikeable from the very beginning and 100% in on the usurping. They worked HARD to make her a more sympathetic character by making her the same age as Rhaenyra + the childhood best friends plot + making a young bride (in the book she marries Viserys when she’s 18 and he’s 27) + making her a sensible woman and less of a schemer and petty b*tch. The Greens were overall *very* whitewashed for the show so that they wouldn’t be considered outright villains lol

Even the stark who will be present in the hotd timeline has a dark side. Plus you have Ned’s brother who we don’t learn much about but he’s very different to Ned when it comes to honour. 1. yes it is week by week, thats how S1 was released. i dont think HBO does full releases. 2. Aemond saying "if he dares face me" has to one of the funniest things bro has ever said. 3. She subverts fantasy tropes, and many people (including D&D) hate and misunderstand the character for it. I've been reading the books for decades, and was very heavily invested in the show for the first 5ish seasons, and I've been following your journey since AOT episode like 3.
