As much as you guys wanted to see Jon Snow keep his vows, it was important that he showed the Wildings that he was willing to break them in order for them to trust him. This is such a good episode concerning the significance of vows. Besides Jon you have Jamie’s epic story contrasting with Barristan Selmy. Jamie is considered a traitor for an act that potentially saved thousands, while Barristan is one of the most admired knights of Westeros ever though he served two unworthy kings. Jorah was wanting to find out the details of whether Barristan served on the Small Council as the Lord Commander of the King’s Guard, because that would mean he would have likely known that Jorah was spying on Daenerys and her brother for Lord Varys and King Robert.

That’s when they found Qyburn ass the only surviver. Then Rob bringing most of the army with himself went to Riverrun to his grandfather’s funeral leaving The Boltons in charge of Harrenhal. It’s in the first ep of this season around half time.

The Expanse is a show that I think is on GoT level. In fact people call it GoT in outer space. It was originally cancelled because it was too expensive to adapt but Jeff Bezos bought the rights to it because it was his favourite show and it got finished on Amazon Prime. The authors of the books helped with the show. The basic premise is that humans have colonized the solar system and there are growing tensions between earth and mars. There are also “third world” people who live in the asteroid belt and are discriminated against by people on earth and mars. Great writing, best space battles I’ve seen in media, and lots of political scheming like in GoT.

Technically the Nights Watch vows say nothing about remaining celibate, only that they will take no wife, father no children. Some men of the Night's Watch go to Mole's Town and.. purchase the services of women there all the time - everyone looks the other way at that.
