And also yes, Warwick (the wolf) is what happens to Vander. I believe he gets experimented on with the shimmer, mutating him into a monster (im not familiar with his exact lore tho). The cool thing in the game is when you have a Jinx or Vi and a Warwick, he gets a custom voiceline saying "you where there.." with Jinx and "Zaun needed you" and "Who taught you how to punch" with Vi while she wears his gloves ingame.

In fact, I believe those cinematics received so much praise, that Riot was emboldened to start producing Arcane. If you are good at something, keep at it.

That place is same place as vi and jinx etc. Btw But some cinematics are made based on the ingame 5v5 fight showoff and some are more lore based. The one with the shoutcasters got huge backlash from community for season opener fyi, everyone agrees with you probably. The one with the villian has more videos it was a ingame event with multiple videos, the one you watched is kinda jumping in the middle, there is a playlist of it.

It was supposed to be something very climactic and epic, but Riot had a huge hack at the time so they didn't have resources and scrapped the cinematic, rushed that out as appeasement.
