Most reaction channels do not do single tier. I have subscribed to 15+ channels at one point or another and five or less than them have had a single tier. I understand money does not grow on trees and sometimes I do not want to pay a few extra dollars either. I have spent plenty of months unsubcribing from reactors I like and only subscribing on months when I feel like it is really worth it because I did not want to spend my money that way each month. There's nothing wrong with that. But there's also nothing super wrong with how these guys choose to make their money right now. Watch cut versions for free on youtube and don't be rude, or suck it up and decide if you really want to spend your money on this luxury entertainment service. But don't be rude.

This is why I love how complex Got and ASOIAF are. Because even when subplots come full circle and conclude it has devastating effects on our POV characters. What happened to Olly's family and village was brutal and unjust, so of course we want to see those who did it punished, but unfortunately, it was done by someone who we have come to care about and who was loved by and hurt by Jon. We can understand and empathize with Olly, Jon, and Ygritte so when their paths cross, it would be juicy, whatever happens.

I have subscribed to multiple Patreon creators for their GOT reactions and I will say in defense of the geks that I don’t think that they’re trying to get over on us. There was this one channel I used to subscribe to that was so obviously a scam. I remember one time where they “went on vacation” after hyping up their Patreon and gaining hundreds of paying subscribers right before a huge episode and they didn’t post it for like a month. They would also out of nowhere just get “sick” or have “technical difficulties” often. Like I get taking a break because like a 9-5, filming can sometimes get stressful, but not being open and honest with their supporters and then coming out and saying they’re taking a break or that something unforeseen has happened especially when those customers have already payed for the month was some of the most obvious dragging on of a series that I’ve ever seen. With that being said, I do believe a little more transparency as to when a video will drop and/or creating/ maintaining a schedule will ease some minds around here and make everyone happy 😊

@Ana why are you assuming that the people complaining aren’t loyal? I’ve been here since the literal beginning, always hyping up the boys but I also understand people’s frustrations. You can be critical and still have love for someone. If anything, a lot of the comments made are suggestions on how to better their overall fanbase experience to keep customers/members happy so that they continue to succeed. But you’re choosing not to see those, you want to point out the toxicity and not the people with valid reasons. Blindly following and accepting anything that occurs when problems arise won’t get you very far in life. @Ana Yes, in retrospect $10 isn’t much but I’m sure every person paying for this membership has at least 2-7 different streaming services. I know for a fact I’m not just watching TV shows on patreon. Be foreal. That is being incredibly narrow minded. People are 100% using an extra $10 to pay for studio gek. It adds up for people, so when you promise premium content with regular uploads, but don’t deliver, people are allowed to show their discontent. You have a lot of empathy towards the boys but maybe you should be just as empathetic or at the very least understanding with the people paying.

I think two things can be true. We can be understanding to their circumstances because no one is perfect and yes, people have lives. But when you operate as a content creation “business”, where you are charging people for premium content with paying customers who have a certain level of expectation on what is to be delivered, the minimum you can do is post an update telling your patrons that there will be a delay due to the holidays. I think people have valid concerns because this is not really the first time it happens and they are allowed to express their discontent. Obviously people should stay respectful and I think THAT is where the issue lies. I don’t think it’s fair to call it entitlement due to the fact that we are ALL entitled to at the very least an explanation if we’re paying to see what they’re “selling” so to speak.

I don't think the geks are purposefully dragging Got or any show for 'business' purposes. They are just very inconsistent, sometimes inconsistently good(surprise double or triple drops) or inconsistently bad(missing 3 Got uploads in a week, certain anime shows a week etc). Another issue I observed is the update for the uploads are also done in a weird way like only updating in a specific reaction upload where some patreons might missed it since they don't watch that particular show or updating by commenting in a reaction upload where most of the patreons will missed it. The geks might not read this but here are my humble suggestions: Have a PINNED POST on patreon to update the patreons. It benefits both the new and existing patreons by a lot. Like it doesn't even have to be a schedule, it could be something like current shows or future shows you guys are watching, explanations on why certain shows are delayed etc. Not every patreons watched every single reaction that you guys posted as some or maybe most only subscribed for certain shows. Will it really be that helpful? Yes imo: 1. It saves the patreons' time on searching for answers. 2. Less misunderstanding will happened hence less toxicity in the community. 3. Less repetitive questions are needed to be answered by the geks(The Carter's wedding incident iykyk) As you can see, it benefits BOTH the geks and the patreons by a mile with a simple move by the geks. I'm a fan of studio/cinema gek and I wish the geks and your community well so WHEN IS THE NEXT GOT UPLOAD OR iMA UNSU.......jk :)

I’m only subbing for GoT, HoTD and Naruto, and they are fairly consistent, besides GoT this week, but I’ve seen that the other shows are not that consistent. To be fair to all the people expressing frustrations, they did really hype up "full time studio Gek" leading up to the changes and kept saying how much it was going to cook. I havent noticed much of a difference besides them trying to add more and more content into the mix, which i think is a mistake. The upload rate or amount hasnt increased much if at all, its just more shows more spaced out. i think it would be better to really cook with the few shows currently going and get a consistent uploading schedule in place. paying patrons just love consistency thats all lol. All the other reaction creators i sub to on patreon upload on schedules, even the ones that all work full time jobs on top of their reaction content. That way ppl know when to come to get the shows they are paying to see and can rely on it. I dont think its a crazy ask to get a more reliable schedule in place, or for more communications about goings on/delays at the very least.

Kit also talks about how he hates using doubles and feels protective of Jon and the performance when he watches someone else doing anything 😂 even when he broke his leg in season 3 they mostly reworked shooting schedule so he could still film most his own stuff. they did use a double occasionally for that, but he hated it. He avoided using the doubles as much as they would let him.

The new spin off series they are filming now and released in early 2025 is called Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. It is about Maester Aemon’s younger brother. Most likely we will get to see some sort of reference to Maester Aemon when he was young or at least his family. The cast release had a few family members.

Kit broke his ankle climbing into the window of his house right before this. His stunt double is doing the majority of the fighting here. That’s why most of the episode you only see him standing on the wall or from the waist up. The stunt doubles they use for all the characters look a lot like the actors. When you finish the series you should check out the pictures of the doubles side by side with the actors. Some of them look like they are siblings.

Robyn Arryn decides he doesn’t want the throne and gives it to hotpie because Robyn Arryn travels the world now that his mother is dead and after receiving an amazing wolf bread he believes hotpie has the right characteristics to be a good king. And the rule for episodes 9 does not apply here, not in the way you think. Gruesome/devastating deaths happen in ep. 9 of odd seasons, big battles take place in ep. 9 of even seasons like the Battle of Blackwater in S2 ep.9. I can neither deny nor confirm whether this pattern holds in future seasons.
