2024-07-16 23:01:29 +0000 UTCjust to clarify lelouch is 100% britanian. his father is britanian and his mother is also 100% britanian. if think the confusion comes from them saying she is a lowborn woman, that dosnt mean she is an eleven. britania has an aristocratic system with nobels and pesants, the elevens (and all the other numbers) are basically not even considered human and the emperor of the could never marry one. also u guys shouldnt really worry about not catching every single detail, this show is very complex, has an insane amount of characters for only 50 ep and has super fast cuts/editing. ive watched it like 20 times, and its crazy how i still discover new stuff about this show, and its world, with every rewatch. keep up the good work guys really loving this reactions

He knows that Suzaku works for the military, but just somewhere unimportant and not affecting all Zero’s plans. That’s a VERY important detail to keep in mind for further watch, they don’t know each other’s true identity

Lulu was the sun of emperor, but after the mom's assassination and him confronting the dad, the dad sent them(Lulu and Nanna) to then Japan, specifically to the then Prime Minister Kururugi, as the hostage(diplomatic means). Remember, they were fighting war back then, so having the sun and daughter of the emperor seems like a huge leverage to Japan, so Kururugi took them in(little did he know the emperor didn't care about them at all). Suzaku is the sun of Prime Minister Kururugi, so their relation of their childhood is from this period. That important double agent Japanese old man was the big shot of Sakuradite mining back then, he had a big influence to the then Prime Minister Kururugi because of this. That's why Lulu had met him before, while he was "the hostage". After the war, Lulu changed his last name and hide under the protection of Ashford family, with his grudge against Buritania and his dad kept deep in his heart. (I'm not sure that president girl or Ashford family knew his realy identiy but I'm guessing they must have? Otherwise why would they take them in?) And the old man "changed his side" to collaborate with the Buritania, but like Lulu, he was also secretly against Buritania. The old man knew Lulu despised Buritania because he was there when Lulu was betrayed by his dad and his nation.

I believe they(the military) knew the father's name and they used her ID to confirm they are sibling(That's why they were talking about the last name). Shirley handed her school ID to that female soldier and she probably had Lulu's picture inside of it, you know girls do that. So it had nothing to do with Lulu being Zero, it just looked sus because that female soldier was the one already susing about this mysterious school kid at Shinjuku.
