Love watching/hearing your pre/post discussions, but not sure what a podcast would bring new to the table. I would argue that a large majority of the people who follow you do so because of your visual and visceral reactions to things rather than your worded expressions of those reactions, and it would be super hard to replicate that over podcast. All of that to say, the content you currently make is incredible and engaging, by adding a podcast I fear you might be stretching yourself too thin to an audience that primarily wants to see your shocked faces on watching episodes of their favorite anime/live action shows.

This is the only Patreon I pay and the most expensive subscription I pay that says a lot about how much I like their product and them as a group. I think I get to ask them for a more consistent schedule instead of adding more things to do. Unless you've got a really good format, I don't see much point in doing one. You provide your thoughts and opinions on what you're watching when you finish an episode, so covering that stuff on a podcast could just be repeating yourself. Podcasts are also deceptively hard work and you don't want to stretch yourselves too thin. Basically, have a long hard think about it before jumping in. Make sure you have an idea of how you're going to make it consistently engaging over a long period of time otherwise you'll burn yourselves out.

I think it is better for you to slow down at the moment. Focus and keep building more on what you have now rather than trying to do lots of different things at the same time. Quality is still better than quantity. Though in saying that, you should still do what you want. And if you do end up having a podcast channel, I might end up listening to it.

Since you are bringing the cost here, their subscription is equal to Amazon Prime and Spotify combined in my country. And then they separated their content from live action and anime. So imagine we get three measly anime content for that price? They started this knowing they will have the responsibility so enough with saying they also have their own lives. If you want to create a podcast, then do the podcast, you don't need to include everything with anime/movie content, because there you can talk about other subjects other than animes/series/movies, so you should create another channel for another audience, if your anime/movie audience is interested, they will consume the podcast too, otherwise, if someone is not interested and still receives the content, they may end up a little angry at receiving a podcast instead of the anime they were waiting for. A podcast would be really interesting, because one of the reasons why I've been following you since day one AOT-Era and why you're the only reaction creators I follow regularly is because of your talk scenes at the end. The endings are always so grounded and not over the top, it just always feels like you are part of the coach talks! I might be the only one, but I find your yapping scenes at the end much too short😂 I would love to listen to your theories, opinions and of course totally random talks for longer. So I would love probably podcasts too, even though I don't actually follow podcasts I just hope you guys don't overdo it, cause this is one of the biggest mistakes small channels do♥️

I'll always be interested in more content but I hope it won't cause you guys to burn out. My suggestion for the podcast would be having only 3 members out of the 5 in every podcast session and members can switch around for each session. Offline tv Podcast follows this as well since they have many members in their group(way more than the geks). Why it works better: 1. A more consistent and sustainable way of producing a weekly podcast. 5 of you have different lives and commitments so 3 is a good number to fill in the gaps. Each session would feel more 'fresh' and it also reduces the chance of burning out for all of you. 2. 3 is the perfect number for podcast content imo. Lesser than that it could go stale and boring, more than that it could be confusing, the time for each member would spread thin and we might not get as much output from each member. 3 is the balance for quality and quantity of output. 4 is also doable but 5 is too much imo. This is just my suggestion and if a 5 man podcast could work, I would prefer that too.

Mannn yall be crying for no reason - no problems with the amount of content the geks dropping - it’s plenty. Only issue is the lack of consistency with the schedule at times which they’re obviously trying to improve on. Imagine how hard it is to coordinate with 5 people, with 5 completely different schedules, 5 different lives, 5 different life goals, 5 different familys/relationships etc. etc. and on top of all that they all have to commute just to sit on the same couch. If you want more content of a certain show you can politely ask them & they’ll most likely respond saying whether it’s feasible or not. I did that regarding Naruto last week and Cannon responded the very next day. It’s not the end of the world if they can’t react to more content or instead of dropping on Monday they drop a day or two later - it’s only $6 a month and if your unsatisfied no one is forcing you to stay subscribed

Also I don’t know what’s happening, but I feel like the comment section has been particularly negative lately. Hope you guys know we appreciate what you do! You’re putting out videos for 2 channels regularly on top of having lives and you should be able to feel like you can take a break without the pressure of keeping up a strict schedule. Don’t want you to burn out and start losing the fun that made you guys wanna react to shows in the first place. Honestly the toxic comments are still kinda compliments because Studio Gek are such good reactors they got people addicted haha and they get the shakes whenever they don't get their Gek fix. I do think a set schedule is a good goal for any reaction channel, not even just for the fans but because I think it keeps audiences engaged and committed to the channel when they know the exact days to expect things, but Studio Gek is doing a great job and one of the best reaction channels out there. If a slightly inconsistent schedule is the trade off to the care and attention the guys put into their reactions, that's a trade off I'll take any day haha

To be honest, I hadn't considered that before...It can't be easy to get 5 people together consistently, you're right. You guys have grown so fast! It's hard to remember that you guys started not too long ago, and are still learning as you go. But I hope that you guys know that, while we do appreciate your uploads and enjoy them, voicing out our concerns with scheduling isn't meant to undermine your efforts as a group. It's just that we see how much of a challenge it has been for you all to keep up with the shows that you're watching. Schedule and consistency are very important. I subbed Yaboyroshi for just 2 eps of an anime a week. It was a very satisfying experience. He has a schedule and uploads all the commîted contents early on that day. Also same practice of Haylo and Kiss. They drop scheduled contents around the same time everyday. I feel good when seeing those drops that I knew would be uploaded on that day. One more thing is that they notify ppl for delays, even if it’s just an hour. But you guys just randomly reduce regular uploads without notification, or sometimes replace them with a random new content that idc, which is even worse because I would think ‘if you have the time why don’t you upload that regular one, is it because you don’t like it or what’.

I think everyone talking about the scheduling and inconsistent uploading schedules is valid. Yes, you guys upload a lot compared to other patreon creators but because of all the different series you guys are trying to upload consistently it makes it seem like forever for the next upload of your favourite series (whatever it is). I feel like if you guys just focused on a couple series at a time it would be easier to keep a solid schedule. Personally I don’t mind the schedule but obviously a good amount feel otherwise. It might not bother you, and it mostly doesn't bother me, but I watch a few other reactors (YaBoyRoshi and Alana Misako) and they upload on very consistent and specific schedules and it makes it nice to look forward to watching them react to the shows I watch them for. Studio Gek still does a great job and is pretty consistent, but I never can get on Patreon and know for sure when the reaction I'm looking forward to will be posted that day. I think it's just good practice for content based Patreon channels to keep a consistent schedule. (the amount they post is fine though, and on par with most other high quality channels)

The schedule is kind of all over the place sometimes, so it feels like we never really know when the next episode of a show is coming out. Also, not sure who you are referencing with reaction content...but I guess I can't really talk there. Personally I don't care, coordinating 5 reactors and doing the editing for YouTube and everything takes a lot of work. But I think some people subscribe for 1 - 2 shows or either only anime/live action, so waiting a week for 1 episode feels longer to them than from your perspective since you are obviously involved in every upload. It may help at some point to list a weekly upload schedule with specific days. A lot of other good reactors do this and I think it helps soothe the restless fans waiting for their show not knowing what day it will come out haha.

You guys released thirteen episode in May so now that you have returned to 8-9 eps/month, people feel like you have decreased the frequency. IMO this is why a lot of reactors release a weekly schedule and stick to it strictly even when they are ahead. Aliens come to earth and a linguist has to interpret what they are trying to communicate. The director of 'Dune' did it I believe. I think you guys would really enjoy it. Really makes you think. I think podcasts can be a bit dangerous. I am just a bit older than you all and I’m not sure that what you guys talk about will be something that resonates with me? When you discuss shows, then I have buy-in bc we have mutual interest in the topic but if it’s just free-talking, idk. Also, this is probably just me but I’ve run into a few reactors who have had podcasts that reveal some core beliefs that differ significantly from mine and changed a lot of my perception on how they reacted to shows. I know your comment said you wouldn’t talk politics but even passing comments tend to be inflammatory in this environment right now, so that might be something to consider before committing to podcasts.

I think since you guys are watching so many shows, it would be better to focus on that, and getting to a good consistent schedule with that since it is A LOT (anime, shows, and movies as well on top of juicy watchalongs) so I think it would be so overwhelming and podcasts would have to be regular too. I feel like it’d lead to burnout and plus podcasts are oversaturated right now imo!!

Polls aren't the same as votes. Polls don't decide what happens, they just inform the people making the decision how the ppl answering the poll roughly feel. Votes on the other hand are when a decision is made based on the results. If it’s more extensive discussion about a show, where you look at different fun facts, spoiler-free analyses of characters, have a debate, etc., I think it’d be great! Many reactions in general have limited discussion time and don’t really show interest in the “lore” of a show - anime or live action, but most shows have so much outside stuff that can be looked up and discussed!
