Great video guys thanks for doing it. My number one so far hands down is Never Give Up its just on another level animation wise especially when Uzui and Gyutaro are screaming and going hard at it. It is just jawdropping stuff. My second favorite is my beautiful man Rengoku I will never get over his death such a beautiful fight it will always hold a special place in my heart. The s4 episode 8 fight with Muzan is 3th. For me I had my jaw open the whole time it was beyond EPIC I couldnt believe what I was seeing. After what I saw of Gyomei the Stone Hashira in that ridiculously great episode I have a feeling his future fights have the potential to change up the top 2 but time will tell.

2024-07-22 09:40:28 +0000 UTCI think the 4x8 fight with Gyomei vs Muzan (kinda) feels less like a fight and more like a plot point to drag things forward. In each of the fights listed outside of it, there is clearly and decisively a winner, and while that episode was incredible and amazing, having it ranked so high on the list feels strange because Gyomei swung a spiked ball and did one breath and that was kinda it. Like the animation went crazy, but it feels weird to call that scene a "fight" in itself when you could make the same argument for Zenitsu vs. tongue demon and Inosuke vs. big dude in the same episode because they lasted about as long. Even the Susamaru/Yahaba fight lasted longer. I think you could do an entirely different ranking of "favorite demon slayer episodes" which would include fights but also all of the other animations besides fights because 4x8 was obviously an amazing episode but the fight between Gyomei and Muzan lasts literally less than 60 seconds total if you consider the active time of the fight. If this was about which episodes made you feel goosebumps and stuff, 4x8 would certainly be top three, but as a fight, it's definitely lackluster compared to the other things being ranked.

She was going toe for toe with UM4 for HOURS with literally no win condition hoping and praying for Tanjiro and company to behead the main body. If Hantengu didn't have crazy hax in his abilities, Mitsuri could have beheaded that form probably multiple times. It was an endurance test, which demons are obviously always going to win in. It sucks that Mitsuri is reduced to a fight where she's viewed as a side character when the reason Hantengu was able to be beheaded in the first place was because she was holding back the most powerful version of Hantengu for literal hours.

2024-07-21 14:29:07 +0000 UTCIt's not the most insane fight or best in terms of animation, but I think Tanjiro vs Daki was my favorite. We've seen Tanjiro be epic after this point, but we haven't really seen him in that state since that episode.

If you remember in season 1 when Tanjiro sensed Muzan in Asakusa while eating noodles; upon encountering him, Muzan turned a random dude into a demon. This demon that Muzan turned was later healed by Tamayo so that he'd no longer be under Muzan's influence but still required blood.

2024-07-21 10:36:31 +0000 UTCThe internet says this: Short Answer: No. Daki held him back not in power, but in mercilessness. Gyutaro could've and would've won if he decided to kill Zenitsu & Tanjiro right then and there, but chose not to. Gyutaro is not stronger than Gyokko or Hantengu !

2024-07-21 09:51:04 +0000 UTCI heard that gyutaro was actually around upper 4 level on his own, but was held back to upper 6 because he wanted to keep daki safe. If he had abandoned her and continued to fight on his own, he would have obliterated them most likely, Muzan says as much himself

2024-07-21 05:22:56 +0000 UTCI do have a very different view than you guys when it comes to watch anime (a little context I've been watching anime since I was 8 yo) I'm used to the cheese and the yapping and I feel this is part of why I enjoy DS so much, I feel the flashbacks get my fellings involved and not only the good animation, which is amazing but it's really not that important for me. My top 1 is definitely Rengoku vs Akaza, even up to this point I can't watch it without tearing up, but 1x19 Hinokami does exactly the same to me, the "Never give up" episode was amazingly animated and I sure enjoyed it, but it doesn't even get close as the other 2 for me. It got me curios too that you guys all rank them based on different things, it brings different perspectives which I really liked! You guys should do more videos like this for other shows too!! It kinda bothered me that Brig said Mitsuru got packed tho lol Remember she fought for +3 hours against a demon that couldn't be killed and she survived without loosing anything, she held pretty well by herself imo.

2024-07-21 02:19:21 +0000 UTCIdk even before the mark she was lowkey stronger than up4, but once she realized her attacks wouldn’t kill it, she switched to more of a defensive role to stall out for tanjiro. I think if zohakuten was just the main body she would have beaten him solo like mui did with up5 considering how easily she was parrying his attacks, but this is just my interpretation as a Mitsuri fan

I will say tho I skipped to see Mitsuris and it was cut and you guys say she got packed up when she was stalemating him for 3+ hours 😭she did not get done dirty lmao she walked out unscathed unlike tengen who had to retire cuz of up6 😳 Also I forgot that the only hashira who has actually killed a upper moon at this point is muichiro, tanjiro took the other two lol Anyways ill go back to watching now
