2024-07-22 04:47:29 +0000 UTCHow an author can take a simple concept such as ‘playing a sport amongst teens’ and turning it into an interesting story with some realistic standards is actually genius. He focused more on developing his characters, making them very likeable and giving them ambitions and goals that the audience can relate to while making the sport look cool, fun and the games are actually exciting to watch. Even able to get some of us, the audience/watchers interested enough to want to play the sport or at least give it a try. The animation studio also did a great job at bringing this story into motion, the voice acting & music score is crazy good as well. Haikyuu in my opinion is sports anime done right, so many factors play into why it’s very popular

2024-07-21 01:01:21 +0000 UTCI believe that the manga is almost over (at least with the way things are going) with a bit more than 100 chapters, and the 1st season adapted close to 40 chapters. My guess is that we have at least 2 more seasons coming. Things are gonna scale a bit, guys. One thing that I believe you might have missed is that we haven't seen the entire JSDF yet. This is one of the divisions. Season 2 will expand a bit on that. Hopefully, next season won't take too long to come out.

Apparently the studio changed/modified each main characters design a bit here and a bit there, the Japanese fans of original manga went crazy lol. After reading the original mangas, I kinda get what they are saying but can you imagine this is the anime with the "bad design"? (well yes, the characters in manga looks even cooler. Like No.8 is even Kaiju like, Reno is even cool looking, Kikoru is even cockier and bossier with more cool look, she looks plain in the anime version.)
