In the comics (before any of the movies) Deadpool described himself as looking like Ryan Reynolds was bitten by a radioactive Shar-Pei. Or Bob his buddy is a merc he meets all the time but never kills him. And so many other references. Btw. The Ajax Francis thing is also in the comics and I am so happy they kept it.
