It fully depends on the teacher + school district. When I say if it isn't on the test, it doesn't have to be taught, it doesn't mean none do but that as it's not required many skip it. In America in a lot of cases for classes like history, homework isn't really a thing. Maybe a worksheet where you fill in the highlighted terms from the textbook. A good teacher will assign an essay once a unit or something too. But the vast majority is teacher-giving-lecture, hands you a study guide (maybe it has blanks you have to fill out during lecture), + multiple choice quiz/test. Many people just cram a day or two before. Then after that test, you never are required to think about a single thing on that unit again. No understanding or deeper learning gained. Overall the formula for history classes in the US is quick memorization + regurgitation + forget forever. Maybe it's also an attitude/cultural thing. "I'll never need this after the test" is how many Americans view anything in school, so they aren't intent on actually learning anything. I had some terrible teachers and some great teachers. But this formula was still the base for their classes. If they added some essays or videos or interactive lessons then that was above and beyond. Some will mention things not on the test or go more in depth on some topics or events, but if the student is concerned with just filling a blank, the rest is typically just ignored. The musical Hamilton has done more to teach people than most history courses.

Griffin

Thank you for this detailed explanation! Im actually surprised to hear that even the Vietnam war gets glossed over since it was quite a big one for the US, probably the guilty conscience of spraying lil kids with napalm is too big of a confrontation 🥲 we wouldn’t want the kids in class to learn what a shitbag their country actually is, would we 💀

Fatipapi

@Griffin -likes s6,7 but wrote 60 pg on d+d dropoff, yeah i read the comment that you left about that, i had no idea that in america they basically just just stop teaching once they reach the 50s. it's so weird to me that if it's not on the test they just don't even mention it lol. obviously in australia there are also some topics within history that the teachers aren't able to go super in depth about because they don't have time after teaching about all the other topics, but for topics like that we usually get assigned a few documentaries to watch for homework. the documentaries automatically pause every five minutes or so, and give you a question/prompt about the last five minutes that you need to answer to prove that you're actually watching it and learning lol. then the teacher marks your responses and if you answer poorly you usually need to stay during lunch time so that the teacher can explain the topic in person. doing badly on these questions doesn't affect your grades (because the topics are formative, not summative) but everyone's pretty motivated to do it so that they don't have to waste their lunch times. do you guys have formative assignments like these in america?

lilac_pelican

Yeah in my comments above I mention that is not just non-US history-- its all modern history. US doesn't even teach US history past 1950 in many states. So regardless of this "not being vital to the us" it also is *too recent* to be taught. I had a student who told me they had a single class day for 1980 onwards in 2020. It's sad. Lilac - if you're curious, I posted some history syllabi from various states in a thread just above this one.

Griffin

Two example US History syllabi: 1) Dallas, TX https://www.dallas.k12.or.us/_files/ugd/ad31a0_c0e3f5f3202a456e9133e1933f562ffa.pdf 2) San Juan, WA https://www.sjisd.wednet.edu/site/handlers/filedownload.ashx?moduleinstanceid=4125&dataid=6932&FileName=USHSYLLABUS.pdf 2 world history syllabi: 1) Chicago, IL https://www.northgrandhs.org/ourpages/auto/2016/8/29/53230455/World%20Studies%20SI%20Syllabus%2023-24.pdf?rnd=1692567984394 2) Orlando, Florida https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://cdnsm5-ss15.sharpschool.com/UserFiles/Servers/Server_68836/File/MARTINGANO%2520WH%2520Syllabus%252020-21%2520-%2520James%2520Martingano.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjot5q0oqOIAxUgMdAFHT-wAakQFnoECBIQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1vs92uGt4rpwyszGQyRN6E Comprehensive unit information on all 5 mandatory classes in high school: New York https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.nysed.gov/sites/default/files/sscore2.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwi1sP3xoqOIAxU5L9AFHdg1Me8QFnoECBQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw3z5Ng_YtLsXrMKjJcRsBzu

Some insight into US education: In our high school (TX, late 2000s), chernobyl got a single paragraph, and it was never actually tested on. But Three Mile Island also got a paragraph and wasn't tested on which is in the US. In Texas, if it isn't on the test, it isn't required to teach. I know many other states are similiar. I've been in education a long time, and so I have exposure to a lot of different curriculums across states. I think here, it's less about it being non-US history and more about it being post WWII history. The fact is that the US teaches very little beyond WWII. Usually Vietnam war, Korean War, Cold War, and the Gulf War are all thrown together as an afterthought as a single, or *maybe* two units-- think maybe a total of 50 flashcards for the whole lot. So expect Americans in general to know nothing (US or world) history after 1950. Chernobyl would theoretically be an important event to talk about with the Cold War, as it's cover-up was deeply related to US vs USSR posturing. But like I said, after 1950, it's really surface level. US education is very patriotic in that it loves to boast about how we "came and saved the day" in WWII and then glosses over everything since. Can't imagine why. For world history, the emphasis is anything before colonial America, especially 'ancient civilizations'. They can't tell you about Yugoslavia, but they remember Mesopotamia, by God. European history is offered some places as an elective/advanced course, but basically nowhere is it mandatory. Remember the Roman Empire trend? Yeah its because US doesn't know like any other european history. Its probably less that "rome was interesting" and more that "more people like history than they think but were never taught". More knowledge of history is gained by movies, etc for the average person than through the US education system. The reason US is so happy to push into other countries' business is because the average american doesnt know what happened the previous 20 times we did it. We never learn.

Griffin

I live in Oklahoma and we talked about this in high school, of course, we didn't go into it with great details. Just a little discussion about what happen and that was it.

Jada

Please watch love death and robots it's soooo good, I heard you Cannon!

Jada

This would be my third time rewatching this show, I'm happy I get to discuss this with people who also like this show- can't wait! I'm so late to the party but im here! Can't wait to bawl my eyes out again.

Jada

Imo the “he deserves death” was probably cause he was dying slowly of radiation poisoning anyways so its like. Kinda cruel to keep him alive for something that—as you’ll find out—wasnt ENTIRELY his fault :/

slavicandsapphic

THIS IS SUCH A W reaction, I love this series bc not a lot of people knows the consequences of what happened in Chernobyl and how it still to this day impacts our world.

༒ dianna ༒

Its hilariously ironic how the US doesnt teach its people world/EU history, yet it keeps inserting itself in every countries business and wars 💀💀

Fatipapi

Jesus Christ 😂 yeah, im not tryna shit on them cuz its not their fault nor do they control where theyre born, but im deffo shitting on the US as a country lol, im convinced that country doesnt give two fucks bout its people in every way shape and form 💀 also not surprised at all they only teach their own history 😂 they find themselves the most important country of course lol

Fatipapi

There isn’t a national curriculum in the US, it’s decided at a state level and there’s still wiggle-room so that it can vary by school district as well. Schools in rural areas might have a higher focus on agriculture, schools near DC likely have a higher focus on US Government (I can’t say for sure since I didn’t go to school in DC but it seems pretty likely). Regardless of curriculum differences, public schools have standardize state tests that are taken yearly, to make sure schools are teaching and students are retaining the information deemed “necessary”. Other parts of the US may be different, but at least where I grew up, we didn’t have EU history. We had American history and World history; world history just focused on ancient civilizations and the world wars, that’s about it. Chernobyl was like a little footnote in a textbook, not a subject we actually spent time on. I have a special interest in disasters like this so I took my own time to learn more about it, but once this show came out I realized how little most Americans actually know about it. I can’t speak for everyone but I know many would agree when I say our education is extremely flawed and disappointing 🥲

mariah scipio

yeah tbh but the crazy part in my US history class we didn't get to cover all of us history (we didn't even get to the gulf war) during the school year, i feel like the us is just rich in so much fascinating history with so many cultures obv same goes for other big countries with even longer histories but America is definitely has the most dense history in the world in terms of timespan. They really do need to teach about more countries, history is too good not to be taught and this is all just my experience in California, other states are wildly different.

myron

@myron, yeah i get what you're trying to say about it being "off topic". it's just so sad for you guys that you aren't taught about other countries, i feel like i would lose my mind if i had to do history lessons about just australia's history for several years lmao. the thing that i like about history is that the lessons stay interesting because we're constantly learning about different countries and their unique history lol

lilac_pelican

@Fatipapi ikr, this is what i'm saying! it's crazy that americans are only taught about their own history (obviously not their fault tho, it's just unfortunate), at my public high school (in australia) we have one american kid in our year level and he's been doing awfully in history and geography all year because he just doesn't know anything. but he can name all 50 states in the US which is impressive, that being said he also didn't even know that australia had states, let alone be able to name them (and we only have six of them!) lol

lilac_pelican

yeah i was going to disclaim that obv you guys learn about America somewhat because of its influence on history. but Yeah it is lowk crazy that i couldnt tell you a single thing about australian history besides really basic info I just think its because they dont want to teach something so " off topic" I cant think of the word that would fit lol if that makes sense.

myron

😂😂😂 like a 30% chance he touches the right area hahahahaha

Fatipapi

They could feature every comment of yours in there as well

Fatipapi

So there’s not a national standard that US schools need to comply with, so every school that’s the same “level” teaches roughly the same stuff? Can final exam subjects and/or difficulty also greatly vary then?

Fatipapi

Does that mean we are going to get a Bluey the dog reaction? (Top 13 ranked show on IMDb)

Sanji

@myron, but the thing is we do know about your history lol, we've learnt about it for several years. we learnt about your role in world wars, your independence, gettysburg, your assassinations, the louisiana purchase, and more treaties and battles and other stuff that i can't remember off the top of my head. we're taught about the history of every continent (but full disclosure - mainly australia, europe and asia), with the exception of antarctica, but even then we still learn about a handful of expeditions in geography lessons. that's why i'm so surprised that you guys only learn about your own history lmao, just seems like such a waste lol, thanks for replying tho it was interesting to get some more clarification about what you guys learn about in school :)

lilac_pelican

maybe this is just bad memory lol but i dont remember much else, but just like you wouldnt know alot about our history we wouldnt know much about yours.

myron

just american conflicts, civil rights movement, world war 1 n 2 , even ancient Chinese history like dynasties and other ancient civiliations. nothing about australia or russia or tbh any other country. Only if they had something to do with america at any point

myron

I'm so freaking happy you guys are giving this show a watch!

Daveeed

*pushes glasses up nose* Unfortunately, education quality and scope varies highly in the U.S. according to where children live and the public/private/home nature of their instruction. (Since you asked more broadly about the "US" and not just their particular Gek education. :P)

Ashleep

Also, Chernobyl is in Ukraine, not Russia!

Fatipapi

you are completely right, i was just trying to make it simple to understand, chernobyl also had affects on the whole world especially in the energy industry regulations and enviromental stuff. I just didnt want to explain it more.

Mikkeni

Yall said “we only know it’s about nuclear something”, sincere question: how much European or world history do you guys get taught in school in the US? Im quite frankly a lil shocked that you don’t really know what Chernobyl is/was. To me it feels like Americans barely know shit outside of the US (bit of a stereotype) and this comment kind of reinforced that feeling, cuz Chernobyl is as big of a historic disaster as 9/11 or hiroshima/nagasaki or some shit. I don’t think there’s anyone in this world who doesn’t know about 9/11 or the holocaust. Can’t speak for the rest of the EU but in Dutch highschool we got taught American history as well, from the “discovery” in 1492, to the slave trade, civil war, Independence Day, Boston tea party, the first presidents etc. So I’m genuinely curious if you guys get any EU/world history in school or not at all?

Fatipapi

I agree with your anology, just not where you say random EU people will just say 2 planes and not much else, and that it barely affects us. Even for us 9/11 has had huge impact on flight safety regulations, all the rules on what you can and cannot take on board and the safety measures before you can board.

Fatipapi

The guy on the cover was not spraying bugs 😂

Fatipapi

Will we have weekly videos of Chernobyl or what will the schedule be?

Chaffi

YES

Studio Geck

Geez, that is a crazy experience. Thank you for sharing that

Studio Geck

This was my first pick when you guys asked for recommendations for a new live action show. I’m hype!

Vernus

This is really great show and I'm saying that as a someone who grew up in Czech Republic, back then Czechoslovakia. My grandparents were secretly listening to the radio called "Free Europe" where they talked about the Chernobyl. Because of it, we as a children were not allowed to play outside and were also forbidden to go anywhere else exept school and home. We were not allowed to open windows, even in the summer. And for a whole year the only food we ate came from cans, because of the fear of radiation in the top layer of the soil. And the water was pulled from a very deep well and boiled extensively before drinking. It seems like a weird stuff, but the communists in the government told us nothing. You did not really know what was happening and what to do and how to protect yourself and your family, so you tried everything that seemed at least a bit helpful. That's how crazy this time was.

Anna

Actualy a great analogy

SirCatelot

Chernobyl to a typical European is like 9/11 to you guys in the U.S. It had/has a huge impact on the surrounding areas, and you know about it too. But you didn't pay much attention to it because you live on the other side of the planet. It's the same for us in Europe. If you ask a random person here what they know about 9/11, they'd probably mention two buildings hit by a few planes, and that's about it. We know it happened, but it doesn't really affect us. I'm just sharing this to give you some perspective on how we view Chernobyl. Hope yall having a great day, Peace.

Mikkeni

it's so crazy to me that americans weren't taught about chernobyl, i'm still in high school (in australia) and we've learnt about it for multiple years now in both history and physics lessons. i'm so curious about what events americans learn about in history classes, the one american bloke in my year level had no clue about any of our history, or any other country, just america's history lol (not a dig at any americans btw, i'm just genuinely curious haha)

lilac_pelican

Forgot to mention the Greyjoy soldier that hit Theron in the back of head when he was giving his epic speech at winterfell

Mitch

300th comment 😔

Leo

I would say 3.6/10 - not great, not terrible

danidelight

I went to watch the other 4 episodes after watching this upload here because I'm reminded of how great this show was. On my re-watch, I realized so many GoT characters were on this show LOL

danidelight

“One man who stopped lying could bring down a tyranny.” ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956 This series so so good and is more about the crazy behaviours that people do when ruled by Authoritarianism. This is why the first amendment is so important, the freedom to tell any truth which cannot be dictated by any authority. In 1980's Russia, the TRUTH was only what the State allowed and you do not decline the all knowing "State" in doing your job. It would mean you could be tortured, killed or shipped off to slave labour for 10-20 years in the Gulags and your whole family could face the same just on a whim. Truly terrifying knowing that this system existed since the early 1900's in Russia.

Sean Johnson

Welcome to Communism! off to the gulag :D

Sean Johnson

The thought of radiation poisoning is terrifying to me

Brittany (Ultraanimegirl4)

Love this show and am fascinated by everything surrounding Chernobyl. So happy y'all are watching it and it was so awesome to see how quickly you locked in.

Dillon Palmer

Guys, will you drop a next Game of thrones reaction this week?

Stanislav

Yes, Chernobyl and Gorbachev’s last failed policies are the reason USSR collapsed. Also nations within it were rebelling more + Cold War

S Moonchild

Gorbachev himself had said that the chaos of the chernobyl disaster ie how the SU government treated it could have had a major impact on the weakening and eventual split of the SU.

Scinaps

That's actually really cool. I was born in '02, so the news was really centered around "counter-terrorism" when I was growing up.

TheSauceGuy

I think The Batman has a more realistic approach while maintaining the dark atmosphere. SPOILER WARNING: I did find the bulletproof suit kind of funny considering his face is still exposed.

TheSauceGuy

thank you for explaining how extreme impact this actually had. The poisonous cloud which traveled across the whole Europe was insane as well. And its crazy how they tried to cover it up and deny it and still to this day like you said they are denying it

Patriicia

Yes we need that hot take video

G

as a person who grew up in Russia, Chernobyl is not just a nuclear explosion. Almost whole Europe would have died slowly and horribly if nothing was done there. My uncle was in Russia's western city, close to Ukraine, but still around 1000 kms from it and he has rashes on his body which he randomly got during Chernobyl to this day. Nobody lives in Chernobyl since 1986, after so many years, everything in it and near it is poisoned, from animals to water to soil. Chernobyl is a horror story for people here, theories of what kind of creatures appeared after radiation or conspiracy theories of actually happened there. This show is said to be created from some real documents the US gathered from the incident. But Russia denies everything, the show was criticized a lot in Russia, saying it is just fairytales. Also, you CAN'T say NO to the people in power, not during USSR, you can't resign if you don't want to do something. They won't fire you, they will torture/kill you and threaten your whole family. There are many stories of people just disappearing and stuff. As Brig said, this is Russia, during the worst times. I think early USSR was worse, but still, so many horrors happened. Chenrobyl is said to be one of the main reasons for collapse of the USSR. Gorbachev is the last leader of USSR.

S Moonchild

Andor is so goated!! Hope they will do the 2nd season justice

Goat

This is in fact one of the shows of all time. one of many many shows

jrnoodles

Need that one piece drop

Junya

after this u guys should watch alice in borderland🙏

hayden 💟

cinema saturdays?

Jacob Goldsmith

that's what I said!! 😂😂

Carrie

I was born in 79 and so I heard about it through adults but had no idea how big it was for history till I was in high school. I remember seeing Michael Gorbachev on tv a lot.

The Emerald Duchess

I’m gonna second a rewatch. I’ve watched all my fave series more than once and you are able to catch so much on the second run that you don’t the first time. Sons of Anarchy would blow these guys all the way away. Same with Yellowstone.

The Emerald Duchess

It's the biggest country ON the map, hard to miss 🤣🤣

Scinaps

Would be perfect timing for Iwtv since it just came to netflix! just saying 😏

Carrie

Not every American is like this but some of us def are. My sister’s bf once said he wouldn’t be able to point to Russia on a map. Like he wouldn’t even try cause he has no idea 😭 when asked why he said, “I don’t need to know” lmao

Carrie

Just binged the first 3 episodes last night without coming up for air once & let me tell you this show’s got me fucked UP

Carrie

This shows always a recommend for me

Oliver Govrik

Okay you got me with the cinematography. Greig Fraiser is the goat. The Batman, Rogue One, Zero Dark Thirty, Dune series. Visually, it doesn't get much better. Well, maybe Roger Deakins. But I guess I'm just more appreciative of the story than other aspects.

Paul Durbin

So after finishing the episode I went and read what happened...

Ale

And Pip!

Mitch

Yea I mean it's a huge historic event, the writers would assume that the viewers know about it beforehand. It's sometimes obvious what's going to happen, this show isn't really about the shock factor of plot twists or anything like that to me.

Joel

For anyone not afraid of "spoilers", this is one of the best videos compiling news reports, footage and a technical explanation in English. https://youtu.be/Cc-vvhWXL9Q?si=Ot9f64xR0Fh_mHFd

Scinaps

I can’t speak on the explosion but the burns from the acute radiation poisoning in the people touching the graphite and getting close to where the core was, is fairly feasible and probably accurate

Delane Gill

and roose bolton

mk

riight?? I cant believe 2019 was 5 years agooo :(( where did the time go?

Patriicia

2019 being 5 years ago is wild 😭

Delane Gill

my teacher in middle school played a documentary about Chernobyl for us. It was a real footage from when it happened as it was happening. It was horrendous and I still remember it. The cover-up they did is insane.

Patriicia

Googling a bit about Chernobyl won't spoil it (without reading into details ofc), just to know better what are you watching actually. It was a nuclear power plant located in Ukraine that was back then part of the USSR. It is the biggest nuclear disaster of mankind and something I believe everyone needs to know about since the negligence and misinformation that caused it caused thousands of deaths and suffering, generations of disease, cancer and mutations. My parents were teenagers when this happened and they remember (btw they lived over 600 miles away from it) not being allowed to go outside for some time, eating certain fruits and vegetables, increased rate in cancer and infertility. It was serious across the entire Europe and Asia, imagine how it was for the people that lived near in Ukraine. Not to mention that area is literally uninhabitable for at least a 1000 years because of the amount of radiation.

Anna J

"Fifty thousand people used to live here... now it's a ghost town"

CHIEF

I cant believe this came out in 2019. i was thinking like 3 years max, Time flies :D I am glad I can rewatch with youuu. Also this was a giga huge disaster. Everybody here in the European countries know what happened in Chernobyl. People go there to visit (as tourists), it is still a ghost town although some people live there, I think some never left and some came back, radiation still there.

Patriicia

Absolute cinema

Josh

I DM’d you the image! 🤙

Thicc Thanos

lets go, i wanted to watch this show for a long time

LaYami・砂漠の子

It was! Get ready for Larys Strong!

chaosisaladdahh

I feel like this is a show where knowing a little history of the event doesn't spoil the show at all.

Duchessnikki

This show is so eerie and tragic, but its soo good

Anton Sakshaug

I hope you watch The Americans at some point.

Duchessnikki

I think its gonna be a consitent theme. We'll see how the crytal clear truth gets lost in the fog of lies, as well as the consequences of it.

Aozora

YESSSSSSS!!! i'm so glad you guys are watching this!! it's such a good show!!! Also sidenote since you guys seemed unsure of what it's about and for anyone watching this who hasn't seen this miniseries. This is based off of an actual historic event and the after effects of it. You can look it up and get more detail but these events did happen and still effect the area and people involved to this day.

safaricat

Yeah I loved almost everything about The Batman, but the cinematography is without question better than TDK.

TheSauceGuy

This is a great pick up I didn’t notice

Studio Geck

Absolutely

Studio Geck

Carter, I agree. you should watch the hbo show the penguin coming out next month. Not even saying for the channel just in general. I guess it’s supposed to serve as a sort of bridge story between the Batman and the next movie. It looks great.

JAY

This is such a good show, I hope you lot enjoy it.

Huewi

Daaamn I see why this is a high rated show 25mins in, the writing is sooo good "Whats the cost of lies?" "The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all" When the guy came in and said that theres no core because it exploded, dyatlov immediately denied the truth. Everyone followed suit saying it was the tank not the core. The second lie was when the fire brigade was called. They were only informed of the fire on the roof and not anything else. Their silence became a poison that killed the truth. Essentially what we're seeing is the clash between the truth and the lies. And ofcourse the person perpetuating the lies (dyatlov) is one of high authority while the ones calling out the truth is of lower rank and dying of radiation.

Aozora

@Riley Dude, it was literally the biggest nuclear disaster in the history of mankind. If they don’t know about it it’s ok, some people are just not into history, but to phrase it as just “some power plant ruins in Ukraine” is crazy lol. It is literally a major historic event and location, and it happened less than 40 years ago.

Gaboxxy

Yes True Detective S1 is GOATed and you should watch it.

ssj4rit

I think it’s pretty typical for a show like this to exaggerate some of the details so they sound better to the average, but to me it’s also fine if they are accurate with their information, it just depends on who you ask. The science behind it is still interesting to me tho, even if I cant understand it. (I’m an electrical engineering major so my physics knowledge isn’t too vast)

alex anderson

Yeeeessssssss I've been voting for this one every time. This is going to be great.

Griffin

Was that maester Luwin from Game of Thrones? Or am I trippin😂

Eliana Ayala

Im so glad you guys are picking up so many quality shows lately. Do you think Ghost in the Shell anime movie will be on your radar any time soon? That would be another important milestone for this channel since its one of the greatest philosophical moments in the medium to this day. I would love to see you guys discuss the many questions it poses after.

Mysterious Figure

Yes!

Eli Wilson

I mean some of the physics is explained later in the show so I don’t want to spoil anything but most of it is pretty accurate. Although, the speed at which the symptoms of acute radiation syndrome appear and the explosion may have been exaggerated slightly. There is still a lot more to come though.

Yusuf Spahi

ANDOR was so good. Cant wait for 2nd season. Off topic but whatever...

Luna Meow

Would you say that the show portrays the science behind the explosion correctly or do you think it’s off, and by how much?

alex anderson

As a physicist, this is one of the shows of all time.

Yusuf Spahi

Is this show goated? Does anyone wanna sell me on this show? Debating watching it

Sanji

I hope you guys consider rewatching Peaky Blinders as a Patreon exclusive. I know re-watch reactions don't do too well on YouTube, but I think they're best suited for Patreon Exclusive content. I really want to see you guys react/rewatch Peaky Blinders. It's honestly better the more you rewatch it. I honestly love the varied ways you guys understand/interpret stories. I'm really curious how you guys all understand/view Peaky Blinders. Cannon is usually super analytical, Brigg's intuition is insane, Cannon intuitively gets the philosophy of stories... I want you guys to rewatch/watch things that let Mckay and Jackson talk fully/give their takes and opinions. Having Re-Watches be Patreon Exclusive is also a good way to advertise the Patreon.

cutty

Yeah sometimes they start too many series but this one is really short they should finish it in a week or two

Junya

I love the dedication, but i feel like you make the mistake that all reactors does, and take on too many series at once.

Rasmus Kjær Poulsen

@Studio Gek I hope you guys watch Peaky Blinders again at some point. I know in the last poll only one of you hasn't seen it, but rewatch reactions can be fun too and I'd love to see it as a Patreon exclusive. It's one of my favorite shows ever, I'd love to hear your takes/ideas/views on the show.

cutty

I don’t think it looked too bad either but not my decision. I usually don’t care what reaction is shown on the thumbnail but that’s me

A_Daddy Daichi

What a good series. It's real, its tragic, and the show almost feels like sci-fi supernatural based on the subject and the sheer unrealness of what we're seeing. He stuck his head in a room and with 2 seconds became tomato red seems like out of a fictional tv show

Ameth

The way I gasped when I saw this notification. Honestly I thought you guys might not watch it, but I promise you it's a brilliant series. Simply gaining the historical knowledge alone is worth watching it, but on top of that it's a really sincere depiction of a world tragedy many of us overlook and undermine.

cutty

Chernobyl is my no 1 'best' show of all time. Limited series or otherwise. It's also the best horror series ever made lol. This show was the main reason I was one of the few who was excited for ANDOR season 1 since most of the cast and crew who worked here went to work on that.

Insecure Classroom

I hope we go straight to dark after this. If we don’t and it’s a poll I hope dark and succession are on it. This show is great so no complaints here.

Zechree

Pfp goes crazy

Brig Andrus

Understandable and I appreciate the genuine reactions rather than a staged photo like every other YouTuber/Reaction channel. But, as a viewer, I don’t think the Last of Us thumbnails look bad at all with the softer light.

Riley

The only one to bring pride to the Star Wars fan base in years

Studio Geck

Yes

Studio Geck

You would think so haha

Dio

YES🫡😤

Studio Geck

Very cool! glad you guys have seen some. I would recommend alien resurrection and Prometheus. but i know u probably have a lot to get to

Bellaa

Yall make this place the best. Love sharing these experiences all together!

Studio Geck

I want to watch that show😂

Studio Geck

Lol don’t worry you’re good, there’s lots of stuff we got a bit lost on that we figured out later on!

Studio Geck

We’ve all seen alien and aliens except brig, we watched them during our IMDb binge before the channel lol. I think both movies are some of my favorites of all time. Haven’t seen any other alien movies though

Studio Geck

I remember watching this with my friend...that bastard decide to watch it when I was almost dead because I was working 12-14 hours a day...20 min on the first episode and passed out sleeping....so I am not going to count it because I don't remember anything.... first time watching (now) and that was amazing!!! 🤣 Sorry for the short story btw.

Mei Nano

I take The Batman over TDK every time, not saying tdk isn’t a great movie because it is. And Heaths joker is without question an all time acting performance, not even just villains but acting in general. But The Batman is just the gold standard for me for so many different things, especially cinematography. The dark knight is a little too plain in that respect. It looks corporate to me. But all in all if someone likes it better than the Batman that’s valid, I just disagree

Studio Geck

Peaky blinders is unreal

Studio Geck

We did do it for the last of us, and the thumbnail lighting was just horrible. We do always pull the thumbnail reaction from our real reaction and don’t stage them

Studio Geck

Yea wtf they cooked with it. Thats dope af😂

Shadow

Don’t worry that’s why in the intro we said it’s just used as a base, just a light structure. Not end all be all

Studio Geck

Please send that to us

Studio Geck

Oh my gosh your pfp is so epic 😂😂😂

Studio Geck

Agreed on all fronts! IMDB + any sources that aggregate public reviews are also vulnerable to review bombing/ratings being tanked for completely ridiculous reasons that have nothing to do with show or episode quality so I'd definitely take lower ratings with a grain of salt. A pilot week sounds like a fun idea!

alee

Nice. This is a very good series. Hope you guys enjoyed it!

jrnoodles

Didn't expect to be hyped again in a rewatch. So visceral, the negligence is so sad

Nanashi

Critics' scores are useful, if you have any critical thinking it should help you filter out what you trust after seeing patterns

Nanashi

Agreed. The Dark Knight is not top 3... it is top 1.

Thicc Thanos

Chernobyl is very close to the border of, what would today be, Russia. It is understandable to assume the plant is in Russia, especially when they are referencing Moscow, which we know is in Russia, and the Geks clearly stated that they don't know anything about Chernobyl or the accident. It is not that "Americans don't know geography", but rather, that a power plant that is in ruins near the Ukraine-Russia border is of little to no significance to anyone's lives in the United States. Also, I'm fairly certain they mentioned the Soviet Union during their reaction--they know this is the Soviet Union, but the two are practically interchangeable, USSR and Russia.

Riley

And of course looking into the raw core on fire and just knowing how mega dead you are

Nivek

"Oh shoot! They are gonna get radiation poisoning" Buckle up Cannon!

Niffol

The graphite scene is just so insane to me every time

Nivek

so much historical illiteracy lololol

Niffol

Chernobyl is wild. Its got suspense for days.

Niffol

You need to use Myanimelist for your anime rankings.

Niffol

Huh, I could have sworn it had a button for english... now I'm not sure if I was hallucinating or it was never there (or it was just autotranslate I've seen on my colleagues computer). Now I'm questioning my own sanity (or mixed it up with some other site?) Anyways... sorry for saying clearly untrue bullshit :/

Michal Kubán

Yeah I've noticed. It irritates me for fictional worlds too, they don't really look at the GOT map behind them especially during key events and battles where geography plays such a huge role to explain events

Scinaps

Americans are allergic to Geography 😆️

PST3

I’ve been fascinated by the subject since I was very young. By the time this series came out, I was already very familiar with the incident, and I was thrilled to see it gain the popularity it did. It’s such an important moment, not just in Soviet history but in human history. It affected the world more than people realize.

JuancaMX

Yolo

Scinaps

yeah radiation is no joke. even if you survive it, most of the time you’re gonna wish you didn’t

Seth Aasland

Wish the boys looked at a map. Chernobyl is in North ukraine on the border to Belarus, part of the SU not Russia. But the government was central in Moscow. The radiation made it across Europe even to Germany

Scinaps

paul ritter was such an amazing actor 👏

teagan

Yesss! A great miniseries, very well done. I hope you guys enjoy the rest 😊

Lalisa Truong

I saw it on the day it came out, but I don't know if I saw all episodes... it was a while ago😅

Kreis

Omg I love this series, it made radiation shoot up to my top 5 fears of all time lols excited that you guys are starting this!

Aedan

Seriously 🫠 I was so excited

Anna

Excellent series!

Teri M

shouldn't overall rating just be average episode rating? What are they doing over there at IMDB lol

Hunter Snider

Rude

Euphemia Isobel

the area on the outskirts of Prypiat was unofficially called “red forest” as it was heavily contaminated when workers buried some effected materials from power plant there, and nature initially “died out”. to understand the extent of how bad it is, there was a case in 2022 during the first month of Russian invasion on Ukrainian territory, where some Russian soldiers who were forced to step back from northern part of Ukraine (where Chernobyl is) were ordered to dig trenches there. you can read about it online. apparently they were unaware of the danger that is still very real. later they fled via Belarus border after the Kyiv region was liberated but via the military channels it was confirmed that they all got sick and apparently some did not survive. excuse me for being extra creepy but it’s just a very real example of how truly scary radiation is..

tanko97

also found it super interesting when you guys talked about what made you want to start the channel and how it was linked to wanting to watch all the shows considered the greats. Firstly, i wouldnt rely TOO much on IMDB ratings. if you think about it, its just a small portion of viewership that votes on there. they are generally pretty accurate but i wouldnt take them as the end all. i like to look at other sites and see what critics are saying as well. as many opinions from different sources as i can find when deciding if a show is worth watching. Secondly, if you are interested in watching some of the shows considered to be the best ever made, i think the community polls are not going to lead you to them. sure, dark is one of those shows and its been a favorite on polls, but the other options arent hitting very high up on those ranks. again, im all for letting the patrons pick shows they want to watch, great or mid, and i applaud you guys going that, but i would suggest also keeping a slot for you guys to explore some of those higher praised, prestige shows. you could even do a pilot week and watch the first ep of a few series that youre most interested in, but that arent winning any polls any time soon, and then have the ppl vote on which one you should continue. that could be fun. ultimately, i just am most interested in watching you guys react to shows youre really interested in watching. ok rant over. just advice! i promise i wont bring it up again 😂

emma.bean

“Gamble here won’t be able to get a nickel for his grandma.”

TheSauceGuy

I’m from a post-soviet country relatively near to Ukraine. I know from my parents that they waited a few days to tell them that this occurred (in a very limited detail of course). Days in which they went outside, not taking iodine pills. Many people are believed to have gotten cancer from it even here. But of course that cannot be confirmed. It’s a pretty significant event in the history of Eastern Europe, there are still events to remember the bravery of those first responders - the firemen, the ones who got to pump water down there, the doctors, etc., and the show is extremely accurate historically speaking.

Bambina

This show is a perfect display of the consequences of negligence, pride, and improper priorities. These are issues that persists in every culture to some degree. In the US, we've literally "lost" several nuclear weapons lol. I'm sure the same goes for many other countries with nuclear weapons.

TheSauceGuy

this episode is the embodiment of “this is fine! 😬”

Seth Aasland

where is the english version

DC

You don’t need to apologise 🤍

Billie

They use thumbnails of their genuine reactions, so I understand, but I swear they did it for the Last of Us. Maybe Cannon will persuade Carter. They do have that corner lamp behind them for some light

Riley

oooh you could maybe get your thumbnails in the light during your beginning discussions then watch with low light?

A_Daddy Daichi

Haha, damn. I guess I missed that. My comment gets 1/10.

Roy Koopa

I hope it makes it onto a live action poll, but it is probably too old to win. It's only ten episodes and I think it's something they would like. Hopefully, they just consider watching it even without a poll.

Riley

nice!! i like this move! a quick 5 episode masterpiece. seems like you guys genuinely enjoyed it!

emma.bean

Band of brothers is so goated. Every human should get to watch it. Been watching that for as long as I could remember. One of a kind

Shadow

Carter makes excuses

Cannon Andrus

Haha we called it out

Cannon Andrus

Why do you even visit imdb... that's like checking out "critics" rating on rotten tomatoes. CSFD for me... but it's very local (but they have english version). Best design (simple and easy to navigate design, no filters in comments... it's beautiful).

Michal Kubán

Ahhh, didn't you do it for the Last of Us though? Maybe I just don't remember correctly

Riley

It’s just no good for thumbnails unfortunately

Studio Geck

Ok we absolutely recognized him 🤨

Studio Geck

Seems like there's a group of us on here but it didn't even make the pills last time. To old and obscure I suppose... shame it'll be forgotten in the next generation.

Paul Durbin

There's just so much more going on in TDK from what I've observed. The Batman seems more of a character study, while TDK is literally a battle of the human spirit. Of course personal preference... at the end of the day, I'll just say that all 3 of those are fantastic films. And yes, Heath's performance is no doubt legendary.

Paul Durbin

Didn’t recognise Maester Lewin. I give this reaction 2/10.

Roy Koopa

Having the lights off for live action shows would make it easier to see for everyone.

Riley

I watched this a few years ago and thought it was fantastic, looking forward to the rewatch with you guys!

Brittany (Ultraanimegirl4)

Yes! I have been recommending this show for a while now!

Riley

I swear to god it’s up there in my top 10 because of heath

Jessica

We’ll get it soon! 🤞🏾

A_Daddy Daichi

Wow thank you guys for watching this! I'm from a Post-Soviet country and it's so refreshing to have a TV Show/Film depict stories and events from here with such detail and respect instead of presenting stuff in a shallow bad light. I think it's very important for us but also for the Western world to know these things and watch these people and understand how we're all human, especially back during the Cold War, and how humans all over the world are victim to a system. Chernobyl is actually considered as one of the reasons for the downfall of the Soviet Union as it exposed so much of what was wrong with a system that was already collapsing. This concept of not asking questions is a very Soviet mentality that I encounter still with the older generation. The show was actually filmed in Lithuania and it is very accurate of to what the Soviet Union looked like at that time. Obviously there are historical inaccuracies but it is very detailed in its depiction. Also, do refrain from calling everyone in this show a Russian as even though some of these people would've identified nowadays as Russian back then everyone was a Soviet and the majority of people from there nowadays would be Ukrainian. Soviets or Soviet people are a safe bet. Also, the Cold War is not an event or anything like that, it's just the period after WWII and until the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 when the Soviet Union (or the Eastern Bloc) and USA (or the Western Bloc) were in geopolitical tension even though there was no direct war between these regions.

bondbond53

Oh yes this is exciting! I haven’t gotten past ep 1 because I got super busy after but I loved it. Can’t wait to watch it with you guys!

A_Daddy Daichi

the “dead zone” that surrounds Chernobyl to this day fascinates me. the animals, and insects, and other beings that have been impacted by what happened. mutations caused by the radiation. there was a study i read once about spiders, and how the closer you got to the center of the zone, the more inconsistent/unstable the spider webs would be

Seth Aasland

There are some episodes that are just unhinged lol (mustache man time travel one).

TheSauceGuy

I think The Batman is a better movie and better Batman movie but I understand your position and it's ultimately personal preference. The Dark Knight, The Batman (2022), and Joker are enjoyable to me because they don't center around superpowers and all. I like Invincible as well, but it just has a different vibe than most of Marvel, on top of being animated. I think the oversaturation of superhero films and shows from Marvel (and to a lesser extent DC) is what turns me off to them now.

TheSauceGuy

Band of Brothers is another highly rated show by IMDB, and I can confidently say it is incredible as well. I will never not recommend it--10 episodes, an hour long each, and a very realistic true WWII story. You would all surely enjoy it.

Riley

yes it was a real recording with dispatcher that happened then, gives me chills every time

Takari

if they reacted to that show i would actually go wild

Seth Aasland

Not sure if many here have heard of it, but the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series is set in Ukraine after the Chernobyl disaster. It takes this sci-fi spin on things that I find really interesting. It's the series that inspired the Metro games. It was inspired by a film that was inspired by a sci-fi novel called "Roadside Picnic." Interestingly, three members of the film's team died from cancer (likely from filming in toxic locations).

TheSauceGuy

Yeah I loved it. One of my buddies is a slut for it as I am for TDK and I explain it to him this way... I view Casino Royale as a better movie than Skyfall, but I view Skyfall as a better Bond movie. I view TDK as a better movie than The Batman, but I view The Batman as a better Batman movie.

Paul Durbin

Yeah sadly probably won’t make it to a poll but it’s 8 hours of perfection.

ssj4rit

You guys seem in the "historical mini series" mood. This show slaps, but Band of Brothers mannnn. 10 episodes, true story, WW2. The GOAT.

Paul Durbin

Frosty

I gotta put Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, and Memento ahead of it personally. But it is quite literally 4th on my top 100 list.

Paul Durbin

Did you enjoy the Robert Pattinson film more than The Dark Knight? I think The Dark Knight is good, but I think the new Batman film was better tbh.

TheSauceGuy

2nd?

TheSauceGuy

No it isn’t

Cannon Andrus

I figured that lol

Cannon Andrus

Both Dark and BB have an average episode rating of 8.92 while BB is rated 9.5 overall with Dark at 8.7 overall.

Paul Durbin

i just wanted to kindly ask to refrain from calling all people collectively in this series Russians. USSR consisted of 15 republics (countries) including Russia and Chernobyl is located in Ukraine so majority of people immediately effected were mostly Ukrainians. also “fun” fact: the call recording in the beginning of the episode is the real recorded call that fire station received that night.

tanko97

I really like when younger generations tackle content that is based in real history. Which is why I always watch reactions to this. I even like the history they put in Peaky Blinders it really helps understand the position of the UK at that time as well as the Irish and I had distant grandfathers in the IRA. These guys are sharp young men they make me confident for the future

The Emerald Duchess

Big W boys! Facts about this show are pretty shotty but great production and acting. Forgot how great episode one was. After a season of thrones ended, HBO brought this out and my brother and I got hooked instantly!

Mr. Buddy Guy

Yeah Cannon, nuclear disasters from plants typically don't result in massive nuclear explosions. There used to be a nuclear facility minutes from where I lived but there was a criticality incident in 1964. I've been to where the facility used to be as well. "Fun" fact, this incident is said to have inflicted the highest dosage of external full body radiation in history.

TheSauceGuy

W

Qhoa

Alien and Aliens are really the only ones worth watching imo. Fun fact - same universe as Blade Runner

Paul Durbin

Yeah, it's the 4th best film ever made.

Paul Durbin

you have tooo, the reactions are getting soo good 😮‍💨 the next few weeks are gonna be so juicy and we’re not even to peak hypekyuu yet 🤫

alexis ♡︎

Yeah Brig + Jack, the Cold War started around 1947 and ended around 1991 when the Soviet Union collapsed. It went on much longer than most people realize.

TheSauceGuy

Nice Love, Death + Robots mention

TheSauceGuy

The Dark Knight might not be the third best film ever made, but Heath Ledger's Joker has to be one of the best (or most entertaining) villains in cinema.

TheSauceGuy

Yea sauce they are just such iconic movies

Shadow

I liked it too. And I like when they try to add fo the lore

Shadow

Yess, glad you decided to watch this between the longer series!

Christina LB

okhayyy this will do!

hollow soul

They gotta at least watch 1 and Aliens (2)

TheSauceGuy

I just watched Romulus and actually liked it a lot

TheSauceGuy

Such a good series, glad to see you guys watching it

TheSauceGuy

Again, overall rating is different than average episode rating 😂

Dio

I would definitely recommend checking out the Chernobyl podcast by HBO that accompanies each episode! Craig Mazin explains the process of creating the show, what parts are historically accurate, and where/why they made any changes to historical events

psychotichonda

What Carter said about how he never really cared about the subject of what happened in Chernobyl before, I felt the same way. All I knew was that what happened was a big tragic event and that's that. After watching this miniseries when it came out, I went on a deep drive about it, and read up about all the other events that happened with nuclear/radiation around the world. It's scary and fascinating at the same time.

danidelight

I appreciate Carter admitting not caring about it back then and changing his stance after seeing just the first episode. I cared a lot about it but not the human element, just was fascinated with nuclear energy. So I read all I could about chernobyl and fukushima. Also I didn't make the connection back then, but Brig makes an excellent point that the radiation particles could have caused the rain that day. Great catch.

C2-H5-OH

i saw the new one on tuesday and i really liked it. Was happy they tied in Prometheus. i hope they continue to build onto the story bc it has so much potential

Bellaa

Yes! They listened!

Scinaps

im confused. ive looked up the recent list for top rated episodes, shows, overall and dark is not in the top ten anywhere 💀 sidenote ATLA is in most of the top tens which i think is hilarious but i totally agree with it🤗

Bellaa

I have not watched this show yet but it’s been on my list forever. So this will be goooood. Very gripping first ep. The whole situation is so terrifying…

JAY

Yuppp💯 And a space horror sci fi franchise would be cool with fall coming. Just watched the new one last night

Shadow

yes🤣 and its a old school type, space horror with so much depth that people don’t realize. i dont want to give away certain things that are revealed in the first movie bur yea it would be so cool

Bellaa

I would loveee to see their reactions especially Carter to them😂

Shadow

Idk if any of the boys have seen the ALIEN movies but for Cinema i think that would be a great franchise to tackle!! especially with the new one that just came out.but only the movies that are considered cannon💓

Bellaa

Let’s go! This and The North Water are my favorite short series!

GreetswithJudgement

To answer Cannon's question. Irl yes it burned everything down. No one lives in that city anymore, you still can't live there till this day

𝓓𝓪𝓷𝓪

I just noticed this list is 4 years old, soo maybe not the most reliable anymore https://www.imdb.com/list/ls087526688/ but BB was number 6 here. This is based on average episode rating, not overall show rating

Dio

I know you guys are Baldurs gate enjoyers, if you haven't seen the DnD: Honor Amongst Thieves movie, I was watching that yesterday and it's hella funny you guys would enjoy it.

Branflakes

as a russian im telling you this is pretty close to what happened in real life, we studied this in school

Ksenia Rekun

Yes

Cannon Andrus

Oop probably should’ve waited 3 minutes before commenting, sorry! Lol

KPTree

I put this together lol trust

Cannon Andrus

It’s fire!

Brig Andrus

Watch the outro

Brig Andrus

We figure this out

Cannon Andrus

I think Breaking Bad is higher

Cannon Andrus

"IMDB is king at deciphering how good a show is" if y'all didn't know, Dark has the highest average episode rating out of any show (average episode rating of 9.1). eager to see your reaction, hopefully you will get through Chernobyl fast!

Dio

To help clear out the confusion: the guy from the beginning and the guy with the glasses that was in the bunker are two different people. The actors look very similar but they are definitely two different people.

KPTree

Dyatlov may be a bit of a shit bag but Paul Ritter ain't. My glorious king from Friday Night Dinner. RIP

FCK YEAAAAAAAAAA

theprolificpotato

Cannon, Chernobyl is not about the explosion of a nuclear bomb. Chernobyl was a power plant that used nuclear reactors to generate electricity. What caused the disaster was the explosion of one of the cores of the the four reactors. This is not the same as a nuclear/atomic bomb. The how and why it exploded will be revealed as the series progresses. The use of nuclear reactors is still a common way to produce power. We have 54 nuclear power plants in the US, primarily in the eastern half of the country.

Marcusinmilw

Haha fuck yeah 📈 another 9/10-10/10 show that’s based on real events 💯

Top tier choice. Y'all will love it.

Chernobyl is cracked

Brianna Tsao

i am from Ukraine, born and raised in Kyiv, 60mi from Chernobyl. my great grandfather was a prosecutor in investigative department in Kyiv region back then. he was one of the first people to arrive to the power plant when it all happened. he lived a long life and passed away at 88. he did not tell a soul about what really happened there (aside from ussr official version), not even a small detail, very carefully omitted this topic. he told me stories about ww2 but never about Chernobyl. it’s a great tragedy that influenced the whole European continent one way or another. my mother (child at a time) was evacuated as many other people to other region and was forced to stay there for months. the propagandistic machine concealed the details from civilians for a long time. i watched this series when it came out and i liked it very much as even though it is not a documentary, the attention to details and real life story is very good. really appreciate that more people find out about it and i hope you guys will like it too!

tanko97

It started as just a mini series. I think they are doing more seasons now. But the story is based on a book and that was season 1. So it really can stand on its own. No matter what happens after

Shadow

Now this is a fine choice lads, you make me proud!

JulioLG

This show is brilliant, but so distressing! 😢 It’s hard watching people unknowingly go to what will be a horrible death and not being able to stop them or help. Even though these people are actors, knowing this happened in real life just adds to that heavy feeling. Some incredible performances in this series. Glad y’all are watching!

Elle B.

Is shogun also just a mini serie? Or is there a season 2, 3 etc coming?

Fatipapi

what I would give for them to watch true detective s1! I finished it recently, and the only word I could describe it as is perfect

LK

Love them doing shogun and then this. Before a longer series like dark(which I’m excited for)

Shadow

RIP my sleep schedule.🪦

I still need to get on haikyu to I’ve been slacking😂 another one I was waiting for them to watch for me to start

Åh kul! Jag är halvsvensk meeen born and raised i Sverige😎

Phenomenal series. I remember the Chernobyl disaster and global fear that persisted for months afterward. Nothing like that had ever happened before so there was a lot of unknowns and loads of misinformation.

Marcusinmilw

Still haven't watched this, guess I'll check it out with y'all

Branflakes

Yeah I know, still sucks though cause I love Dark and I know they'll love it. I do love Chernobyl tho.

They’re doing Chernobyl first because it’s only a few episodes

Brady

Literally dropping everything Im doing to watch this rn

TheBookerDeWitt

Ah, this is a very unfortunate fact... but a fact nonetheless. Dying from ARS is supposedly the *most painful death possible*. The acute pain alone beats out burning in lava and the long-term suffering is unmatched. The only thing that is potentially as painful is being flayed alive. There was one man in Japan who "survived" for 84 days, but in hindsight it was almost more of an experiment in how long they could keep it going and whether or not there would be a miracle. On day 10 he was in too much pain to breath on his own... just for a little reference.

DudeTrue

Chernobyl is goated

Ethan

So, are you all watching this for the first time?

Harper

This show is amazing! Super excited for you guys to watch this one

Kp__

Some of my relatives where sent to Ukraine during those times to work in Chernobyl. Fortunately they are still alive though as far as I heard they were not the same after they came back. I love these series. It does such a great representation of Soviet Union and real life events. Even the way characters talk to each other. If we exclude them speaking English then it is almost as accurate as it gets. Also I think that the recording was actual real recording of what happened. i mean it sounds very... real. Like speech patterns and the words p.s. I also think it's the best time for me say it. I've been having a lot of troubles in my life and kinda getting depressed. Your uploads mean A LOT to me. They are the only times when i genuinely forget about all the irl problems, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. So yeah, thank you :)
