But yes definitely not close on top 5. The purpose of my earlier comment was really just to manage expectations. If the poor geks go into this arc expecting world class greatness they are going to be left wanting more. Because they wont get that. If they go in with more realistic expectations i think they’ll love it and enjoy it for what it is. Just think sometimes people throw around the word “peak”. Its good. Dont get me wrong. But its not god tier as some of these comments would have them believe.

At least for me, if we ignore the sometimes bad anime pacing, Water7/Ennis Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody, Marineford, Dressrosa, Wano and now Egghead top the Arlong Park arc any day.

Arlong park is good, but please please dont think its like this amazing incredible masterpiece that some of these comments would have u believe. You’ll just be left underwhelmed. Way better and more interesting arcs to come. The show is still building at this point and hasnt quite found its groove. But its getting there and this arc is a great part of that natural progression. But far from “the best”.

It personally does not bother me as it usually doesn't affect the main cast, but it is a weakness in relation to fights. The anime adaptation recently has not been making it any better: for the sake of longer cool looking fights, they end up making certain characters look more goated than they actually are.

And honestly he's like if you transported someone from our world to One Piece, I'd be freaking out too if I saw a giant shark man grab a house by its foundation and throw it like it's nothing.
