Almost over🥺

Comments

Floch is such a well written character

Zipzzty

calm down, you'll live

FURsona

Eren literally genociding the world yet Floch is the villian? How do they seem more mad at Floch than Eren...

Galaxy Nemesis

Why would Armin ever kill Connie's mom. What would that achieve other than more anger? How can you think Armin is a good character yet assume he would do that to a close comrade!

Galaxy Nemesis

They'll definitely do 2 drops 😔

Val

Pleease tell me they get the after credits for episode 27

imnotreal

The first thing Riley says in the whole video — at 50:34 — is: “No shot! Is he gonna jump in there?” And it’s about Armin’s sacrifice! You can tell who her favorite is — and I totally relate!

Vlad Lena

Bradlynn’s face at 41:55, when Conny tricked Falco, is priceless! Her boy let her down, haha. And her “Did he just break my heart?” at 46:42 — the disappointment in Conny was so fun to watch 😂 Her confusion at 49:11 is hilarious too!

Vlad Lena

Armin: «I was the wrong person to bring to life» Brig: “Facts” That’s a crazyннннн take 😨 Are we even watching the same finale and Armin's role in it?

Vlad Lena

Rumbled

Cannon Andrus

Let’s go

Cannon Andrus

don't tell me we are not getting ep 27 today cause there's 4 left till the end of the season and they can be split into 2 drops 😭 I was totally sure today is the day for Shadis & Magath scene

Dasha

I’m caught up!!!!

Juicyjaloomba

Would yall rather get rumbled or endure a calf cramp for 24 hours straight

Charybdis

Depends on what you mean by best I guess

Studio Geck

I'm beginning to consider the idea that Jean is the best character in the show. (I've watched the show like 7 times). Thoughts?

Jake M

great characters

Jake M

It took a rewatch to realize how real Jean and Conny are.

Charybdis

Excellent post

Alright, mega Floch post time. It seems a lot of Floch's hate revolves around how he doesn't seem to show remorse for what he's doing; he fully embraces the "devil" he must become. This is different from others like Hange, who shows sadness over killing her former comrades. What's interesting is that Erwin was primarily motivated by selfish ideals and felt guilty (even if he repressed it and still acted anyway) over the needless deaths he caused; Floch is motivated by the survival of the island, and he causes needless death without showing any remorse. I would've enjoyed it if Floch portrayed himself as "doing what is necessary for the greater good," but simultaneously showing vulnerability and guilt for his actions. I imagine he would attempt to hide this from his comrades, but it could be caught by one of the OGs like Armin or something. This would make him seem more reminiscent of Erwin, albeit in a more corrupted state. Maybe he does deep down, but he has done an even better job at repressing it than Erwin. Regardless, as it stands, I think his character is fine. Unlike Eren, whom we spend much more time watching throughout the series, I don't think I can say Floch's development as a character feels out of line. I still disagree with his actions, and understand how people would find him dislikeable because of them. I do think it's odd how so many people minimize the significance of Eren's actions while hating on Floch, but I think that's likely a result of main character bias. Floch was simply an eager recruit in S3, but his eagerness turned to horror after witnessing the harsh realities of war/conflict. He was afraid and wanted to disobey Erwin's orders (it's shocking not a single person was shown to have stayed behind btw), but Erwin's speech motivated him to sacrifice his own life. Why sit by and wait for almost certain death instead of fighting for a chance at the future that those before you fought and died for? Upon surviving, he resents Erwin for convincing so many to die, with their last feelings likely being fear and regret, in what he felt was a meaningless charge. Floch questions why only he and Erwin survived over everyone else; he wants to kill Erwin, but he feels he doesn't deserve the mercy of death at his hand. It's only when Floch sees Levi after having bested the Beast Titan in combat that his thought process changes. Floch believes that while the human sacrifice was immense, their deaths were a necessary evil. Their sacrifice ensured that the lives of those lost before them were not in vain; humanity could continue its fight for survival. With this new mentality, Floch wants his survival to have a greater purpose, so he attempts to "bring back the devil" because "the only one who can lay waste to the titans is a devil." When Armin is chosen by Erwin, Floch questions his survival; he believes humanity has gained knowledge of the outside world, but lost the one who could allow them to survive to see it. He also holds onto the belief that people shouldn't be manipulated into joining the military without having a true understanding of their purpose. By season 4, Floch was exhibiting the qualities of a leader, and he'd become braver and more confident. He even got rid of that yee yee ass haircut. While he certainly was not Erwin, he'd somewhat embodied the devil he saw in him. He had become desensitized to death, viewing the survival of the nation as more important than anything else. I'd have preferred if we had another season or two to cover much of the four-year time skip, not just for Floch's development, but for the betterment of the series as a whole. There wouldn't have to be nonstop action for the season to be enjoyable, at least for those who care more about the story than just the action.

TheSauceGuy

The girls are incredibly intelligent and media literate, it’s been great listening to their takes. Their discussions over the past two seasons especially have been so thoughtful and nuanced. They’ve brought up so many great points and you can tell they’re really engaging with the story on the right level unlike so many surface-level watchers who can’t handle how complex the story is

Tivy

brother most of the floch fans are those who agree with Eren lol. They basically are floch Floch haters aren't the ones who also agree with Eren Also also, just because something is worse than something else, doesn't make that other thing fine ALSO ALSO you can't say what Eren is doing is worse than what floch is doing, because what Floch is doing is directly in support of Eren, meaning he's a direct accomplice of genocide.

kiiturii

The amount of hate floch gets drives me insane. It’s just funny to me that just because we know eren people are quick to justify or simply accept mass genocide “for the greater good” but floch kills those who oppose him or eren is “the worst” imo floch is just tired of his people getting killed and ruled over. And he’ll do literally what ever is necessary to ensure Eldias survival and rule. YES imo GENOCIDE is worse than murder or multiple murders.

Tony Garcia

It would've been better if Armin and Connie hugged Annie after finding out shes alive and ready to help commit more mass murder.

DontFailArtSchoolEren

They don't call him ERGOAT for nothing

Charybdis

This is my favorite show in the whole world but these are probably the 3 worst episodes of the whole show. At least bottom 10

Sam M

Gotta hit the triple double King, if you didn’t skip the 4x27 post credit you fell off

hman70

I don't know if anyone has said it before, but I strongly believe if Erwin was alive the whole wine thing wouldn't have happened. He definitely would've suspected something.

Nanami's Wife

Mikasa’s story is so sad, I’m not ready to watch the ending again 😞

Slizzle

Couldn't find a good playlist with all the ops and eds with lyrics in one place so I made my own hope this comment is of use andnot too late lol https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL17zelK_ph61XXq5ec06BjNQLQ4XQDDws

m1gz

There is actually one more in ep 27, I guarantee Carter forgot that one as well

Sean Carroll

Just like mass murderers (insert majority of significant characters)

TheSauceGuy

One could say i'm the Lebron of not seeing aot post credit scenes

Studio Geck

Erwin's feats were often gambles that resulted in the needless deaths of soldiers (and sometimes civilians) for "the greater good of humanity," when we're shown this wasn't his real reasoning. We were finally shown Erwin's guilt surfacing in his conversation with Levi. Erwin already had a mountain of corpses beneath him, and to bring him back after leading almost every living Scout to their deaths might've proven too much for him. With this guilt, we don't know if Erwin would have had the same drive to continue his role as commander once his dream was complete, or if he'd have even wanted to be brought back in the first place.

TheSauceGuy

You might need some time. But I have to say, after having some time to heal and then rewatch and watch these guys' first reaction I managed to recover and appreciate every little part of this show. It is very hard though and I understand that all too well, especially if it resonates with you.

Ollie

Are you comparing what Hange did to what Floch is doing? He literally caused Hange to die because he wants the genocide to not stop. lolol

Conk

yes

Conk

Just wondering will MHA be dropping today?

Jude Rahim

Floch deserves some respect. He just wants to save his family and friends from a bloodthirsty world who wants them dead. Plus it's not like he's doing anything uniquely bad considering Hange's out there murdering her own scouts and Connie almost murdering an innocent child.

Sam M

It is my first full rewatch since the show ended. And I just have to tell you, I don't think I will be able to watch the ending, it hurts even to think about it. Usually if I watch parts of AoT, I stop at episode 21. I am not ready to be crushed again. I can't explain this feeling..

S Moonchild

Skipping most of the post-credits scenes and OVAs while talking about potentially watching Attack on Titan: Junior High hurts my soul. I'm all for it, but it still hurts lol.

TheSauceGuy

carter keeps skipping the post credit scenes. there’s legit only like 3 in the whole season and 2 have been skipped. :(

fyre

As far as the world knows, Paradis are hostile and as soon as someone steps onto the island, it's game over. It's not worth taking the risk. Only Marley knows it's not as dire as that due to the Tyburs knowledge, hence their original mission. Hizuru only even approached Paradis because Zeke was a mediator and he knew enough to convince her it was safe and profitable, unlike the rest of the world, who sees no practical reason to even approach them beyond vague hopes of forming an alliance against Marley, but to them, they're as much an enemy that's even more volatile/dangerous. Maybe there could be more nations attempting it, but there could also just not be. Either works just fine for the circumstances of the story. And yeah Eren himself fucked the situation up, but that's pretty obvious to most people.

dimitris athanasiou

vvvvvvvv Floch HATE button..

momma

HURRY UPPP :((( ( btw when yall upload the next one are you doing the last 4 all together then the movies? )

momma

It's interesting how every nation is seemingly united against Paradis when they can essentially push a button to trigger the apocalypse. I've expressed how I don't think Eren explored alternatives very well, but these other nations are just as bad. You'd think many of the world's nations would be coming to Paradis to find diplomatic solutions, rather than the other way around. I've also expressed that the world's hatred for Eldians is somewhat understandable given their history, but I still don't think it's very realistic to be something so widespread and strong that diplomacy is barely even explored. It comes across as the world collectively going "Paradis could trample the planet, my home, my family, and myself at literally any moment! Let's go provoke them because our hatred drives us more than our love for our families, friends, and even our will to live!" I guess Eren kind of did everything he could to reduce the chances of diplomacy by destroying Liberio after Tybur's speech. It's pretty frustrating to me how AoT introduces all of these complex themes later in the series, only to use plot convenience to cover many of them at a surface level.

TheSauceGuy

Something else in regards to these episodes that might go unnoticed: the reason why Eren can't control the Pure Titans and Armin's questioning of it is a somewhat underrated setup line imo that gets forgotten about. Way I view it I think it's meant to be a setup for (SPOILERS) Eren's line in the finale about how the Founders Powers have messed up his head and has very limited conscious ability over what he can and cannot manipulate. I think it was a neat explanation that allows the action setpiece of Thaw to happen with all the character stuff and full circle moments that are so great.

dimitris athanasiou

Feels bad for Mikasa these episodes, it's heartbreaking. A lot of people hate on her for these episodes, especially the Louise interaction, but that's usually bias since they already dislike the character or find her annoying and/or don't understand the interaction. I think the shot where she's trying to sleep and is crying is especially sad. Considering how her world has turned upside down so quickly, she seems to be holding out the best which is admirable. That's my goat Mikasa, but I still feel for the girl, because you understand she's hurting deeply underneath.

dimitris athanasiou

Since the girls seem to be in a post AOT depression/video binge mood, I HIGHLY recommend checking out the pinned post on Attack on Titan or Shingeki no Kyojin subreddits. There's a billion links for analysis of any AOT topic you could think of, can't praise it enough!

dimitris athanasiou

Specifically I was struck by that parallel between the jaegerists and pure titans when onyonkapon made his comment that all that would be left in the wake of his home country's destruction was "xenophobic shits" like the jaegerists he was addressing; and the view we're shown is just a sea of them looking back at him with these goonish triumphant grins, just a mindless malicious mob; and I thought, wow they're just like pure titans in this state. Also it occurs to me that in addition to the abstract philosophical backdrop of getting out of the forest, ie the intergenerational cycles of violence hate and retribution, there's also the practical issue of trying to survive (granted this is only a problem because of said aforementioned cycle); and then the moral quandary of whether survival is even justified; whether because of past transgressions, or, because of present day implications, ie, if I survive, that poses an existential threat for this other group; and these quandaries are portrayed on an individual and a global scale; and all of this is being explored at the same time and is interrelated. Ahhh

jared

It's not uncommon in the real world for one of the oppressed to become the oppressor. We're typically taught "revenge is bad" and/or "retaliation is childish," but this will not stop everyone from acting on these desires. Post WWI, Germany faced large reprecussions, which crippled the nation. Germany was also forced to take responsibility for the war by the victors. Both of these factors created resentment and instability within Germany that allowed for extremist groups to gain popularity, which was a significant contributing factor in sparking the events that would lead to WWII. Hitler's rise to power was something that almost certainly would not have happened if Germany hadn't been punished so severely. The plight of the Eldians is far more significant and extreme, but AoT does this to make their actions seem LESS insane. The Eldians are not like any race/ethnicity in our world, as they can be turned into (unmetaphorical) monsters. This ability was used to subjugate the world for thousands of years. It's unlikely that Eldians would have faced the same harsh levels of oppression on a global scale if they didn't have this ability. Anyway, Paradis was already under a fascist regime before season 4, but Historia used her power after the coup to change things for the better. Unfortunately, Eren's actions led to the growth of a new fascist faction, which ultimately undoes some of these reformations. With the island's new and limited knowledge of the world, feelings of racial supremacy, xenophobia, and imperialism begin to develop. The Jaegerists use these feelings to their advantage and help make them more prevalent among the island's population. In the end, both groups slaughter and displace massive populations of people who had nothing to do with their suffering in the first place. This retaliation in general just furthers the cycle of violence, regardless of who is being targeted.

TheSauceGuy

I was struck this time around by a parallel between the mindlessness of pure titans and the futility of begging for mercy from them, which we see so many times throughout AOT, and which to me is one of most horrifying things in the show to imagine; and the mindlessness of the jaegerists, in general, but specifically in the scene with Yelena and onyakapon on their knees (that's just the scene where the parallel hit me). That horror of being at the mercy of someone or someone's who are mindless in some way, incapable of mercy, incapable of even caring about or comprehending your plight; and you are utterly powerless and you can't break through to them no matter what you try. This is also shown with the eldians in Marley held at their mercy and receiving none. It also makes me think of Aarfy from Catch 22 if anyone's read that; his character utterly horrifies me for the same reason. There are just so many different aspects and facets to AOT and somehow Isayama fit them together so elegantly, it's just unreal; one analysis video I've seen talked about how Zeke and Eren are explorations of nature (Eren) vs. nurture (Zeke), and the concept of being held at the mercy of a dream ("everyone had to be drunk on something to keep pressing on") and the paradoxical need to transcend that to be truly free, and to be actually aligned with anything truly helpful or morally right; paradoxical I guess because the power of a dream can be a driving force without which one might not be able to move forward at all in the face of despair and overwhelming odds; but that very driving force can be a trap that compels you to act in a way that feeds into the very cycles of pain you are trying to transcend; which is shown over and over again throughout AOT; then there's the related idea of leaving the forest, or trying to leave, even if we can't, as Nicolo says; that there's a devil in all of us, no one's purely evil or purely innocent, and getting revenge in the name of justice for one round of atrocities necessarily leads into the next round, and you just have to stop it, at some point, or try, and get the children out; and every adult that's part of it is a child that no other adult was able to save from that cycle; and every single character is a case study in some related facet or another that is so profound; I feel overwhelmed trying to hold it all in my mind even on my fifth or sixth rewatch, I can't even remember what I'm on; this is almost all I've been thinking about for about three years

jared

Annie needs that protein

TheSauceGuy

Mikasa’s conversation with Louise and that quiet “gomen” to Armin gets me every time. She’s so hollow and worn down. Others like Jean and Reiner are in a similar state, but with Mikasa it’s shown in a way that feels uniquely tormenting

Dasha

- "I was the wrong person to bring to life" - "facts" 😭😭😭

Dasha

How many animes have you seen?

Studio Geck

When I'm in a "Skip Every Post-Credits Scene" Competition and my opponent is Carter 😳

Brady

Great reactions! I hate Floch. He plays the villain well, but he is going off the rails. I like Conny and I get that he wants to save his mom, but I don't think she would have wanted to become the jaw Titan. I don't think he really would have gone through with it, but I'm glad Armin and Gabi got there in time. I really liked Bradlynn's analysis on what's going on and what each person's mental state is. I'm excited for the next set of episodes. I'm sad we're almost done though. :(

Jenny D

Yes

Zipzzty

Were Reilly and Brig able to finish the reaction?

LeFlaneur

Lol. Mass Murderer Annie always funny.

DontFailArtSchoolEren

It wouldn't be Studio Gek without a missed post credit scene 🤣

Ale

This is a flashback irl 😭

Alex Mercer

Now, Feels kinda strange beeing able to see Brig:(

Raul Alberto Marquez Zamora

Thanks GeksDeluxe! I'm not ready for this rewatch to end.

jrnoodles

About the pie. What they are eating is a meat pie which, depending on which recipe, can TOTALLY be eaten like a thiccc pizza slice.

The RZA

Their spirits have been lifted so thats good.

LuvStarburst

Bittersweet that’s it’s coming to an end, I get so much enjoyment watching people react to this show. Next thing I’m looking forward to is a Castlevania reaction…someday

James Wilson

HAHA I love this video really hope one of the girls ends up watching it.

m1gz

What Carter said about how scary it’d be to live in the AOT world, especially seeing the Rumbling is so true. Kane Pixels made some videos showing what it might look like as old footage. There are a few, but this 5-minute one is the best. Definitely worth checking out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmWo2zG99e4

Andrasi Alex

Poor Reiner tho, man's just depressed and devastated, but he forces himself to keep going😭

Pudding

BOYS yet another post credit scene skipped what's going on lol

m1gz

Ooo what a good point!

Pudding

Jean is one of my favorite characters in the show. he honestly gets some of the most complete development along with Reiner, and it happens the whole 4 seasons. he turns into a true honest leader by S4

rayman

Floch's barber is so foul for that 💀

Charybdis

It makes me sad so many people here hate Gabi with a passion because she's actually a well written character. In my top 5 for sure.

Charybdis

I really love the detail of the Eldian citizens celebrating the rumbling because of their understandable hatred towards Marley in the same vein that Marley similarly celebrated the deaths of Eldians for the Eldians’ sins against them. You can so clearly see where the hate begins from both sides and how it ultimately led to the masses cheering on what is essentially genocide. Everything is cause and effect set by a chain of events caused by one king’s hubris.

Dani G

Which soundtrack, Bauklotze? I thought that was cool too, I love how initially it's just the instrumental and then it kicks in and it slaps. I also felt the same about Gabi and Kaya's moment and the throwback to Sasha and the forest, it's so meaningful and definitely one of my favourite underrated moments. Yeah this Ep is amazing.

Ollie

These episodes really highlight how fantastic Jean’s character arc is. From the early days of presenting himself as this selfish jerk who only cared about himself and wanted the easy life to his evolution into someone whose good heart and integrity superceded that selfishness, and Marco being the tipping point for that redemption, he’s just such a wonderful character. I loved him instantly from day one, because I could see he was so much more than what was on the surface, and that was soon proven right. He only became more amazing as the series progressed. He’s not just a good character; he’s a good man.

Dani G

The whole thing with the Yeagerists really reminds me of the French Revolution. One regime uprooted for another with yet again a dictator at the helm. The very party that was supposed to have brought liberty to France merely reinstated the same brand of tyranny.

Dani G

One is the MC while the other is one of the most overtly hitlerite characters in popular shonen it’s not hard to see why people hate him so viscerally while still holding out hope for Eren

andythesaladgod

Imagine if Floch had his S3 haircut and was acting like this

TheSauceGuy

I highly doubt they did, but we can hope! If not, that's something for 3.0. They better not skip an ounce of content for AoT 3.0 😭

TheSauceGuy

thunder spear moment

TheSauceGuy

I like Floch as a character, but I think he could've benefited from another season of development. I've said this for several other characters, but we don't see much of Floch's development in general; he only becomes significant late in S3.

TheSauceGuy

well now he's just gonna do one episode per upload

TheSauceGuy

Falco is just an angel. Baby boy. 😭

Dani G

Floch may be a lot of things, but he is very well written. His villain arc is excellent.

Dani G

Why does everyone hate Yelena? I'll never really understand lol. She's weird and we don't get much development from her, but that's about it.

TheSauceGuy

seems like they're considering vinland

TheSauceGuy

I would do the same thing Eren is doing right now if I had to save my family and friends. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Leo

Studio Geck

Removing the power of the titans is a net benefit for the world, but you're still left with people at the end of the day. People suck, and there will always be those that cause immense suffering for others.

TheSauceGuy

Hail Eren Jaeger

Leo

I know he’s largely hated on by most of the fanbase but Floch ends up being one of the most intriguing characters in the show for me. He’s the only living person (besides Levi) to hear Erwin’s speech in 3x16 and you can see how much of an impact it has on him. On the surface, he tries to lead like Erwin but he ends up getting caught up in his own flawed interpretations and ideologies of survival and freedom. He adopts a fierce sense of patriotism and harbors a deep hatred for the outside world to the point where it can become oppressive to those around him. Such a well-written character.

Creed🎭

Why are you so mad about someone having an opinion? Weirdo behaviour

Callum B

I know some people hate her but I actually love Gabi even more on rewatch 😂 the redemption arc

Ollie

Can we hear more from Brig and Mckay? Their perspectives are usually more refreshingly nuanced. Their input would be appreciated.

6

So awesome to see all the titans getting clapped compared to season 1

Ollie

Jack is... increasingly grating. Jack:"[Eren] wants everyone to live in peace" That's why he wipes out 80 percent of the human populace, right Jack? What planet are you living on where Eren is some peacenik? How can anyone say this with a straight face? You’re superimposing your bizarre, philosophical priori onto a character that just doesn’t fit the bill.

6

Nobody ever talks about how amazing episode 4x22 is! It has SO MANY great moments! Gabi saving Kaya thus bringing her redemption arc full circle and giving us closure on Sasha Shadis saving the Yeagerists because he cares about his trainees, even those that betrayed him. “We escape the forest.” - such a powerful throwback to arguably one of the BEST speeches in the series. The return of one of the most iconic songs from the old soundtrack. Jean’s leadership. We love how far he’s come! Pyxis’ death. Such a bittersweet moment. Armin’s farewell always makes my heart clench. Mikasa saving Louise once again. Another full circle. The start of Connie’s inevitable mental collapse. And the long awaited return of Annie. This episode is SO iconic, but because it follows arguably the best trio of episodes in the entire series, it’s overshadowed.

Dani G

That reveal happens later but yes they have finished by now

Sean Carroll

It's interesting how so many people have this visceral hatred for Floch in these episodes. I get why some people feel that way, but it's interesting how, of all the morally reprehensible people, Floch seems to be the one who evokes this reaction the most. Eren has triggered a mass genocide, but people still have hope for him haha.

TheSauceGuy

Poor Louise, choosing Mikasa as her role model haha

TheSauceGuy

Lol, I love how confused Bradlynn looked when Magath and Pieck were standing in front of Levi and Hange; they forgot about the post credits again lol.

TheSauceGuy

I really want the girls to come back and for the whole gang to react to an anime none of them have seen yet! (the boys included). So maybe Parasyte: The Maxim would be really fun? OH actually Inuyashiki would be a wild one for everyone to watch together too XD

Alex

Lmao

i wonder if they watched the "The Last Attack" Movie Version 😭

Lmao Riley's face at 06:40

Ollie

Im gonna miss Brigs NBA analogies :/

jblakk

Annie I heard those words before 😭😭 Joel coded

Andrew

I just love that you could feel the void that Erwin Smith has left on this show post s3. His death impacted on so many people in a variety of ways (good and bad) and how he’s influenced people even beyond death. He’s just that goated.

Kyra Sun

I dont know if this was intentional, but I find it funny that in the end AoT managed to continue the masked Sensei trope that Kakashi, Gojo, Kisuke, and many more do with Levis image change.

jblakk

I am so excited for the last few drops, but I’m going to be so sad when it’s over 🥹

Artemipsyche

Bradlynn somehow always choosing to like characters that end up against each other is the funniest thing to me, girl can't catch a break with all her favs trying to kill each other

Kasumii_

Peak episodes. Are the girls coming back for more anime after AOT? They'd love Vinland for sure

Charybdis

dw, AoT 3.0 can be next year

TheSauceGuy

“You got Connie, Jean, Armin, Mikasa, Levi, Reiner, Annie, Hange……… Then you got Yelena”😂😂

Vanessa Barendregt

I actually really love these little full circle plots that AOT does.

Melly

Crazy to think theres only 4 drops left 🙁

Grae (Formerly known as Huewi)

jean is 1000000% in my top 3 dw

eve richards

Also on Louise and Mikasa. Not one of AoT greatest writing beats, and admittedly a bit clunky, but the point was to make Mikasa look inward. Mikasa saved Louise just like how Eren saved her, and the almost creepy, uncomfortable devotion that Louise has for her was supposed to make Mikasa realize that maybe, just maybe, her debt to Eren has been paid tenfold, and that she is a person outside of her devotion to Eren. Using Brig's wise analogy, it's like if LeBron left his shoes but you wear them for the wrong reasons, and it's too big to fill anyway.

Pham Hung

The gek crew is all done with the show but there’s people here in the patreon who are watching for the first time with them so stay vague ✌🏻

hman70

This one had some of the best character development for our OG scouts.

Connor O'Hara

You’re just adding value to the rewatch brother don’t ever change 😂 but there’s 5 people on the couch who have all seen the show before how does this keep happening where nobody catches it

hman70

Chuck Norris

Was about to apologize to Carter because a couple episodes ago I predicted that he would skip the 4x23 post credits. I realized watching this that it would be impossible for him to skip it since there is essentially no gap between the Falco/Conny scene and the Levi/Hange reveal. But the MAD LAD still did it! The second the last piano note hit brother hit Next Episode like his *life depended on it* 😂😂

hman70

1:00:28 It was Keith. I dont know if it gets revealed later but I know you guys are done with AoT already. It's gonna be bitter sweet when the last reaction drops because it's gonna be Brig's last reaction video 😭

I'll be so tilted if Eve doesn't include Jean in her top three characters if they do a recap at the end. (I won't actually be upset; it's just that these three episodes especially highlight the depth of his character.) Reiner is fantastic, Zeke is also insanely written, and the mind-bender that is Eren's character. But I think Jean is Isayama's magnum opus, to be honest - he feels insanely real like an actual human being.

Pham Hung

I can’t with it ending 😭

Cannon Andrus

this show is peak depression 😔

As much as I hate Floch, Eren really did manipulate and use him (and the Jaegerists in general) to hell and back just to achieve his own goals so I blame him in part for that mess…still not enough to draw sympathy from me but ya
