Lmao this show so consistent with its crumbs but hit so hard when they finally all come together. I love the focus on the fact that Deku wasn’t chosen for his strength but for his heart. He represents true heroism: selfless, passionate, and driven to save others no matter the cost. All Might didn’t want the strongest person but someone who could carry the symbol of peace and even surpass it. I also love how all the OFA users we’ve seen so far have been people who at one point were seen as weak or worthless by society. It’s a cool little parallel

I liked seeing the other characters in their internships. I wish All Might had told Deku more. I don't want All Might to die, but he's barely hanging on and it's better to tell him before something happens to him. I think Carter might be onto something regarding the guy with the hands. Updated version of the suggested watch order! In case y'all need a reminder, I'll prob put this under every vid for the Geks to refer to if they need it and update it as we finish the seasons HAHA! MHA watch order goes (ideally + reasons): Season 2 -> Movie 1: Two Heroes Season 3 -> Season 4 -> Season 5 (Ep 1 to 18) Movie 3: World Heroes' Mission Season 5 (Ep 19 to 25) -> Movie 2: Heroes Rising Season 6 -> Season 7 (Ep 1-4) -> Movie 4: You're Next Season 7 (Ep 5-21) I know this looks super weird, but according to my extensive research, in the canon manga timeline, movie 2 comes before movie 3, but since Studio Bones messed up the order of the arcs in the second half of S5, the events of movie 3 now happens sometime in the middle of S5, while movie 2 happens after S5's ending, even though the studio released the two movies in the opposite order. If there are any discrepancies or "plotholes" in movie 2, it's because movie 2 was released when certain reveals hadn't yet taken place, so you (the Geks) can just chalk it up to the switch in the arcs HAHA! OR, y'all can watch movie 2 after S5 Ep12, and movie 3 after S5 ends (this is what most reactors do if I'm not wrong, cause there are spoilers in movie 2 that aren't revealed until the middle of S5). P.S. Since people have been questioning me about the whole movie 3 before movie 2 thing a LOT, please understand that the above suggestion is simply a suggestion. I ordered the movie watch order according to which arc they are supposed to take place directly before/after or during. Movie 2 is supposed to have happened AFTER the last arc in S5 of the anime, while movie 3 is supposed to have happened DURING the second arc in S5 of the anime. Due to the switched order of the arcs, when creating the watch order list, I just lumped the movies with their respective arcs and thus it became 3 before 2. My suggestion is just so that the Geks or first time watchers will know the exact timeline of the manga, because getting confused about how the anime jumps around in S5's events could be a problem. If you're not happy with this watch order, by all means, root for my alternative suggestion mentioned ^^ up there instead of continuously harping on why my first suggestion is wrong or unacceptable. Thank you.

I never noticed that before OMG I got chills listening to the music swelling in the back and also seeing the visual representation of One For All being passed on from generation to generation through the previous 7 users until it reached All Might. If you notice, every single predecessor of One For All is represented by a diff colour. For All Might, it's yellow. And it's the kind of yellow that is blinding, brilliant, almost gold. Like the sun. He shines so bright in society as the Symbol of Peace that it's not difficult at all to root for him, feel for him, and sympathise with his increasing decline. It hurts my soul seeing him become weaker in both body and health, but he's so jolly that it literally forces me to be happy. It's a strange feeling, but I agree with what Cannon and Carter said about choosing the All Might statue/standee over Gojo's. All Might makes me FEEL a lot of emotions, and for me at least, that's exactly what I look for in a character presented so heroically.

If you want to see All Might in his teens, and Gran Torino in his prime, that video gives you everything and not enough at the same time lmfao. I cried so hard watching that clip. And honestly it's a great addition to All Might's character, as well as some additional info about his master! I watched Two Heroes and Heroes Rising after watching the show lol, watched World Heroes Mission (is that what it’s called? Lowkey forgot) in theaters tho…. Forgot the new movie even came out and was reminded a month later, still haven’t seen it cause I haven’t finished season 7 tbh, kinda fell out of anime for a good while. Just so you know, generally speaking, the MHA movies have scenes or episodes in the anime that tie them into the story. Sort of like a prologue. While the first MHA movie takes place between seasons 2 and 3, the prologue episode (which is titled: "Special Episode: Save the World with Love!") isn't until the latter half of season 3. You can AND SHOULD watch it before the movie since it's mainly a flashback to before season 3, but the beginning and end of the episode both reference stuff in the arc that the episode interrupts, so you'll have to fast-forward a tiny bit. It's easy to figure out what parts to skip since they have Deku and All Might sitting at a sort of news desk and breaking the fourth wall. And, if you're wondering why the prologue episode isn't at the beginning of season 3 or end of season 2, it's because the movie had come out towards the middle of season 3. Also, the station that airs MHA in Japan was doing a special fundraising event with a specific theme the week that this episode aired. If they had decided to air this episode when the movie came out, they would've not aired any episode the week of the fundraiser since only shows with episodes fitting the theme were allowed to air. (This is also why All Might and Deku are at the aforementioned news desk at the beginning and end of the episode.)

Just fyi, as far as I know, the stories of the MHA movies, although canon, are inconsequential to the main series. Their relevancy are not even close to the level of relevancy JJK 0 has to JJK’s main story. You’ll get some character cameos and little references in the main story but that’s it.
