I’m interested to see how you guys feel about the next arc. Some people find it slow or not as good but I feel like that’s because it’s hard to follow up something as good as Overhaul. If you don’t compare it to the other arcs and take it for what it is I think it’s pretty enjoyable and gives a different perspective on things.

Nah, Endeavor is definitely a dick and a bad person to this point, but that is what makse him interesting. He throws a wrench in the "heroes are upstanding people" we see all throughout MHA. But what makes him even more interesting is that he definitely loves being a hero and saving people, but his personality is warped by his desire to be the strongest. And yes he has never said or considered himself better than All Might. The fact that he knows he can never be better is what drives him to push that responsibility on Shoto and become an abuser.

The todoroki story is just beginning!!! They are giving you bits and pieces here and there but when it starts coming all together oh boy is it one of if not the best story from the mha anime. Their arc/side story will tug on all emotions from hype, sad, happy, relief, etc. Yall wanted more of the todoroki family but all I gotta say is be patient and let them cook 😬

Someone can call me out if I’m delusional right now, but off memory, endeavor has never acted like or stated one time that he thinks he is better than all might in all of his screen time till now. He’s a terrible parent, but if anything he’s like bakugo where he wants to be the strongest and that’s why he does the hero thing, he wants to win and beat the bad guys. Also, other than the wind guy and his experience with endeavor, he doesn’t come off as a dick to the average person, I think he’s just a hot head and doesn’t like the spotlight, which is what he tells all might in this conversation. All this to say that I think endeavor is being humble here, just because he has never gotten the screen time or the reason to speak like this, not because his character is evolving or changing.

Endeavor has resolved the most cases by far, even more than All Might and he has done even more after All Might's retirement, but he still sees that there was something more to All Might that has started crumbling away. Him asking what the Symbol of Peace is, such a huge step.

I love how Kaminari called him Kacchan and Bakugou didn’t even have a complaint about that. He’s my rude little rager but you know he cares because of moments like these when he stays up just to hear how the others are doing. And in the manga, when Shoto says he has a different method to handle the kids, a method that doesn’t involve violence, Bakugou recalls having heard Shoto tell Deku about his childhood and that’s why he tells him to go ahead and try his own method.

You know what, the kids see the world full of problems so I get the lack of respect. It's implied that they should respect certain things but those are just stories to them. In fact, them believing they can do more than those who came before them is incredible. Forcing them to acknowledge something is really just a cover for it not being worth acknowledging on it's own. Suffering through a child's growth is how we can make up for our own lack of facing problems.

It's nice to catch up with Bakugo and Todoroki. I also like that it's not the same as the previous exam. I'm not sure about Camie, but i feel like this is a good exercise for the other three. Compress took his arm to help Shigi make Overhaul quirkless yes but also as payback,, because remember Overhaul was the one who destroyed one of Compress' arms. That's why he has one mechanical arm now. Also I have such a love/hate relationship with this next arc 😭 it has a lot of heartwarming moments and some interesting fights but I remember waiting per week for these eps was so anticlimactic because it didn't feel as intense as the previous arc. But its prob a very different experience when binged !! 🙌🏾

Sand hero did die unfortunately. He wasn't the only thing in the marble, Dabi's fire as also in it, so he just got cooked inside the marble. He's not able to fully cover himself in sand as mentioned last episode so there was no way he would survive that.

My opinion on that intro discussion: I just think hindsight is 20/20, right? They weren't sure what the League of Villains move was going to be, all they knew was that they were working with Chisaki and Shie Hassaikai to some degree. When the organization went down, who would have thought that the LoV would directly make an attempt during Chisaki's transport to prison? I don't think they even knew the LoV had knowledge of those bullets so....why draw a bunch of attention with heavy security for a small-time yakuza leader? 🤷🏾‍♀️

One of League of Villains said that Snatch can turn half his body into sand and Compress put his real body into the marble meanwhile the rest of the sand which is the other half stayed outside so his body is missing an entire other half in that marble. He's most likely dead just like Mr. Compress said.
