I've had a couple questions lately, so I just wanted to take a moment to talk about the Tempest Legion, the mark 3 armor and where the line is going from here.
The Tempest legion Mk 3 troops kit will be released in part 1 on the 4th and will contain 10 unique leg poses (that can be mirrored for another 10), and multiple posed for axes, pistols and rifles, as well as a solid group of heads. The goal is to be able to make as many of these lads as you want without duplicates.
This is not a replacement, or reboot of the Mk 2 armor sets for the Tempest Legion. The part connections are the same for each section making these entirely interchangeable with both the Mk2's and Black knights.
Think of it more of an alternate pattern of armor than a new line of miniatures.
Going foreword I will be creating new parts in both styles.
That being said I do plan on expanding the Mk 3 armor to a line of heavy troops, and some unique weaponry in the future. However I will likely not be rebuilding the heavy and special weapon packs as they are still perfectly functional as an arm swap for the Mk3 armor set.
I will be doing a new melee arms set in both styles down the line.
The 4th will also feature the BK recon command models, whose armor line will also be developed more as we go. (Last Image)

I am simply amazed that you are making my love of an army that a certain gaming company will never release come true. Every release you do brings me one step closed to having a complete army and Im loving it.

2021-10-20 15:20:48 +0000 UTCOh, that's not as different as I thought. I guess I was thinking of the Tempest Warrior arms with the leather gloves. I might try printing a few off and see how they look.

2021-10-05 06:47:06 +0000 UTCWell, it's basically just going to be the upper arms that are different., since the shoulder connection will work for the new pads. I'll see what kind of time I have in the next few months. Maybe I can fit another weapon pack in somewhere.

2021-10-05 05:28:46 +0000 UTCThat's a shame about the heavy/special weapons. I like the new armor style and would love to have them with heavy weapons but wearing the correct armor.
