I've never been so confused while watching a movie before. There's no way this makes sense whether you've played all of the games or none of them. The ONLY tie to the game is the names and wow what a horrible nightmare the mushroom kingdom is (or "dinohatten"??). The Koopa/Goombas look like Kanye in the music video for "I Love It". This really makes you appreciate the new super mario bros movie with just how wildly and unbelievably awful this movie is.
