Belly university

Lily held up the latest issue of *Belly University Monthly,* her eyes gleaming as she admired the cover. Right there, front and center, was a photo of herself, her enormous belly taking up most of the frame, with the headline: *"Freshman Standout: Lily Chapman and the Largest Belly of the Year."*

Across from her, Jessica stared, half in awe and half in envy. “Lily, you look incredible! They really went all out on that shot.”

Lily chuckled, running her hand fondly over her belly. "Can you believe it? I showed up here looking like a skinny string bean, and now... well, here I am.” She gave her belly a proud pat, watching with satisfaction as it jiggled slightly in response.

Jessica leaned closer, shaking her head in admiration. “Largest belly in the entire freshman class, and it’s only October! You’re seriously setting the bar this year.”

Lily smirked. “Not to brag, but yeah, I guess I am. At first, I wasn’t even trying to stand out. But once I started to really fill out, I thought, why not go big?” She placed both hands on her belly, giving it a playful wobble. “I don’t think there’s a freshman here who could even come close to this.”

Jessica laughed, shaking her head. “That’s for sure. I even heard some sophomores talking about you in the dining hall, trying to figure out your ‘secret.’”

Lily grinned, looking even prouder. “I get compliments everywhere. Professors, classmates, even the dean once pulled me aside just to tell me how... ‘impressive’ I look.” She gave her belly an affectionate squeeze. “To think I almost missed out on this because I used to think I was too small.”

Jessica crossed her arms, smirking. “You’d better watch out, though. Now that everyone’s seen you on the cover, I bet all the other freshmen will be trying to catch up.”

“Let them try,” Lily said with a laugh, patting her belly one last time. “I’ve got a head start, and I’m not slowing down anytime soon.”
