Life Update (Totally skippable)

If you are still here, well, let me tell you something about my irl.

Well, as some of you may know, I got sick, like really sick last month, and had to be hospitalised. While my job did pay for everything and also gave me a 2 week leave for the sickness, they wanted me back on the job the day after the leave ended.

I was fine with that, since I got an exception to do remote work for the rest of the month while I recovered. Now, if that was the gist of it, I would still be working at my job.

But as it turned out, recovery took a much greater part of my day than I expected it to.

Also, for context, my job is on the other side of my country, and my parents live on the other side. Literally, on two different coasts of my nation. So, them leaving everything and coming to my city to make sure I was fine was a big deal.

After that, I came back home but the workload was just way too much. Nothing and I mean NOTHING had been done in my abscence and I was expected to get that done as well as get any new work done, while being in resting phase.

I was still managing it, working late nights and then early mornings since I had to get to the doctor in the afternoon but my parents were no OK with that. No, Sir.

So, I had to ask my Job to give me an UNPAID leave for the month, which was rejected and the next thing I know, I was being LET GO becuase of performance issues.

Can't see I didn't see that coming. The company was a very high stress, high employee turnover one and they did not like people who did not work. Like ME!

So, as I was saying, i have been home for the past month but I was getting adjusted this past month, which has been difficult but hey, I think I am fianlly in a nice place now.

Thank you so much for the ones that stood by me, even now, when the update frequency is not at part with what it was in November but don't worry, January will be my year.

Once again, sorry for any inconveniences.

And THANK YOU for staying with me.

I will be back on 1st of January, the New Year.
