Hi I hate life
So I've been dealing with a nasty bout of the flu (not Coronavirus, I already had that) and alongside it I've been dealing with bouts of what I can only describe as excessive sleepiness where nearly every other day I would just be unable to keep myself awake.
Madhouse and The Sith Resurgence have also been sucking up a lot of my time. I apologize, but I was really into those and couldn't put them down. I have put them both on hiatus due to personal reasons and have three new Glass of Water videos on my schedule to compensate.
Well two, since I don't consider Top 5's/10's to be a full video, just half of one.
The first is Elsan-Nah, where I deconstruct Frozen's common perception as a gay coming out metaphor. I firmly come down on the belief that it isn't for three main reasons: The creator was evasive when asked, the metaphor doesn't work due to the highlighted moments being moments of grave mistake and the film being a general self-hatred story that (while applicable) is not exclusive to LGBT people, and Elsa's story centers so much around her sister that to call it a gay coming out metaphor is the most Alabama thing to ever be said.
Shit, I should have called it "Sweet Home Arendelle."
The next is a Top 5 on Star Wars characters. Probably not the best video but as I still have Star Wars on the brain it couldn't hurt to make it. At least get it out of my system.
The next is a Top 10 Best/Worst/Blandest in MLP. I had originally intended to do a full-length video for the Best and Worst episodes but I'd rather do it in the snacky way I do these on Glass of Water. My feelings on most of the show is well known by now so I'm doing the video for completeness sake. I do still want to do it, but I don't want to over-exert myself trying to come up with a detailed analysis of 30 different episodes. So I'd prefer to do it this way.
Sorry for those who were expecting bigger videos for that, but it's just not what I'm interested in doing at the moment.
The Disney Project is nearing completion, with only Big Hero Six, Zootopia, Moana, and Frozen II left to go before I'm finished. Like it's prequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet is being omitted because I simply never cared about Wreck It Ralph as a film and attempts to force myself to cover the first one ended in failure.
And that's it. Thanks for your time everyone.
