Progress Report - March 5th, 2020

Moving in to March, we're looking at a few straggling projects I've been putting off. First up we come to Tangled and getting right into the Disney Silver Age. I decided that since I was going to restructure In A Minute AFTER the Disney project was over and done with, that I want to get it over with sooner rather than later. This project has been going since October of 2018 and I'm really starting to reach my limit with it.

Plans for after the Disney Project remain: In A Minute takes a less frequent and dominant position on my radar and moves to a more even pace with my other work, with the videos themselves being longer and more carefully crafted. They will still be strings of jokes. but positioned more toward the longer running times and less toward the snacky bite-sized videos they'd started out as.

I am planning to do the nine Star Wars movies over the course of several months, and to give an example of what I'm looking at: The average Disney film IAM has about 45 jokes, while the script I have for The Phantom Menace currently has 120 jokes.

I am currently unsure if Star Wars will have Roundups or videos talking about each movie individually. This will ultimately be determined by how much I have to say about every single movie.

Moving on, I am planning a First Impressions for The Owl House, This will come with a restructuring of the puppet files to make it less ineffecient to have a more animated character during puppet cuts and a more dynamic editing style of shifting perspectives. This same change will be made to the Roundups should they continue.

Lastly, there is the 3AM Ramble video I've been chipping away at for an eon and which I desperately need to get done. This is more for my sake than anybody else's as it gives me a chance to really talk about the day to day stress of doing this job and dealing with an audience so much and how much audience cluelessness contributes to burnout. I really want to have that out this month if at all possible.

No new Glass of Waters are on my schedule, as talking about The Owl House is taking priority for me as it's something I really want to do.
