My biggest complaint about Nightfall is that they used such a visually distinct and pretty female character to be the third corner of a vestigial love-triangle between Twilight and Yor. Five minutes in, you know Nightfall has somewhere between a 0 to -1000 percent chance of "winning" Twilight, so she just wastes screentime to add zero drama to the story. But if Nightfall were instead a double-agent trying to sabotage Operation Strix by breaking up the Forger Family you'd have a recurring antagonist threatening to expose Anya's powers and Yor as an assassin.
