We have a record-breaking 42 nominations - but don't worry, you don't have to rank them all. In fact, if you only want to rank 1, that's just fine, too! All votes count equally. yes. your vote has the same power on the nominations you include whether you vote on one or all 42. when all the votes are tallied, the amount of ballots that a nomination appeared is also calculated to determine its weighted average. this is to prevent a hypothetical scenario where if 1 person was the only person to rank a character #1 could win because their score would be perfect. this is highly unlikely to ever happen, but the weighted averages bring everyone's overall score down a little bit since no character appears on 100% of ballots.

2018-03-12 00:47:25 +0000 UTCI've been wondering how the poll works exactly. If I place 4 things in slots 1-4 and submit, does that have the same effect on those 4 nominations as if I put them in slots 1-4 and filled out the rest of the 42?
