All versions of advmame were fixed for compiling on newer GCC.
We switched to the upstream libretro flycast core (newer), however there were issues with Naomi support (now fixed), and an an issue with the core on rpi 0/1/2/3 with videocore which is not yet fixed, so for now we have reverted back to the older libretro core.
tyrquake was updated to 0.69
Threaded loading on EmulationStation was disabled by default due to some users having crashes on startup. This is temporary and a fix is already in emulationstation-dev and will be merged to the stable emulationstation soon.
Work has gone on to update RetroArch and SDL2. This is almost done.
I am currently working towards getting a new image out.
