Tree Monarch - Prologue

A/N - This is going to be a slightly different story. This one, I am going to write based solely on the results I get from Polls.

At the end of every chapter, there will be a poll, with multiple options about the way I can take the story forward. You can vote for the way you would prefer to get the story ahead.

The way the votes will be counted is as follows -

Mark I - 1 vote

Mark II - 2 votes

Mark III - 4 votes

IGOR gets 4 votes as well but they can just commission another chapter as well, irrespective of the overall results.

The polls will be weekly. I promise 2 chapters(4k words) after every poll. The first poll is after Chapter 1.

Hope you all like it since it will motivate me to write (potentially) more!
Likes and Comments are always appreaciated.

Disclaimer - I don’t own Marvel or any of its characters. The Mighty Mouse does and I hope it is not standing behind me with a shotgun cocked and ready to blow my brains out the second I have the audacity to press PUBLI——

Point Nemo, South Pacific Ocean, Earth

–Caden–

With a resounding blast in his awareness, he came to awareness, instinctively sending out the instructions to flail about and move in a situation of panic to gather information about his surroundings or to just make an ultimately useless movement to banish whatever it was that could threaten him.

Except….none of those things happened. His brain took a moment to catch up to reality but when it did, he calmed down. Despite not having the right organs for it and not being beneficial in any way, he took a deep breath.

As far as he was concerned, he was completely blind here, with very little in terms of senses, except the fact that he was tethered to the ground, under the ocean, and sucking in precious life building nutrients from the ground to both keep him alive and also grow.

That second bit was important, because he was now a tree.

Yup, he was isekai’d, not given any other choice, just a booming voice reciting an automated message, telling him that he was about to be reincarnated as a tree, with many exciting abilities, none of which were currently accessible to him, save for one, growth.

And as far as he could tell, it was mostly an automatic activity for now, right up until he would have to choose the direction of his growth. He did not have a system for that, though that would have been immensely helpful but apparently, he would get an information panel about things he did not currently know about?

It was all very confusing but what he did know for now, was that he was a tree now, he had no sense of anything, really, save for the ever flowing activity of taking in nutrients from the ocean bed and turning that into fuel for the tree’s growth.

He still remembered the excitement he felt when the ROB or whoever it was, it could have been a damn phone repeating a previous recording for all he knew, informed him about his powers. Not having a choice in them sucked but at least he did not get shafted with the powers, or at least he hoped so.

He was conferred the title of the Tree Monarch, which sounded really cool and if he had directly been brought into this world at that level, he would have been really powerful but as things stood, he was more of a Tree Sapling than a Monarch of any sort. Full of potential but still far away from reaching that full potential.

Taking a deep breath and then reminding himself that he did not take in oxygen like a normal person, he recalled all the perks and the little information he was given about them.

1. Tree Monarch - The pinnacle of all flora, capable of growth by any and all means.

2. Calm Mind

3. Secured Growth - Dropped into the single most remote point on the planet, Point Nemo.

That’s all he got. Though, the Tree Monarch perk alone made up the bulk of his gifts. Growthy by any and all means? That was perfectly the sort of perk that would help him grow his power in this world that was by no means a hell world or a death world but a dangerous one all the same.

He had been dropped into the Marvel Universe. Not the Cinematic one, with the lack of mutants and being generally averse to showing the actual violence and tragedies that occurred on the daily.

With a sigh, he tried to get rid of those thoughts, since he would not be able to do anything about that at this point. So, he focused on the one thing that he could see.

His growth.
