Compymono here! This month we've been working hard on Nekojishi: Lin & Partners, and Astatos!
Since many things are at an intermediate stage, I'm not quite ready to write up a dedicated background blog on any given topic, so I wanted to give a quick report of what we've been working on this month instead.
Battle system development progress.
Tweaked the element mechanics, shield breaks, and damage calculations.
Revised health bar design, designed & implemented new UI sound effects.
Held internal play-tests of the new mechanics and gathered feedback for next month's tasks.
3D scene progress.
Revision of the wooden hotel scene to match the interior wall and object size standards set by the later scenes in the production.
2D Battle artwork progress.
Music progress.
Completed scenario BGM "Tense Theme" (Tentative name).
Chapter II story progress.
Programming for sub-chapter 2-1-2. (incl. CG7, CG8)
Writing, editing, and translation for Trial 2-1-2.
Programming for sub-chapter 2-1-3.
Editing and translation sub-chapter 2-1-4.
Editing for sub-chapter 2-1-5.
Sound design for sub-chapters 2-1-1, 2-1-2, and 2-1-3.
Cascade Trial development progress. (More info in this month's Astatos patch notes)
Monthly hero skin artwork progress.
Note: Development on the BEEK 2.0 update is still ongoing, however we had to prioritise some other tasks this month and will get back to it soon.
While the above is a bit more of a technical breakdown than we usually do, I hope it demonstrates how busy we've been lately. We're really appreciative of the support!
