Captain dude that got killed by Jinwoo sure was a ahole but he was pretty strong, well trained and competent, he just couldn't counter the elfs stealth, so the elfs kinda toyed with him and his team until he lost his all team and got exhausted. Since he was A rank and pretty strong his shadow is strong too, he seems stronger as a shadow because the anime only showed him fighting for a few seconds when he was alive. His shadow is pretty much him well rested, fully equipped and immortal(as long Jinwoo have mana). And his red aura cry is a skill(we saw it before, I think leader of the guys that tried to kill Jinwoo used it) it's a tanker's skill that makes things around you attack you. His shadow can use it because he could use it when he was alive
