random thing: if you are interested, check out the last episode of the documentary series Our Planet narrated by David Attenborough (netflix). From 41:01 of that episode there is a 6min segment on animals found these days living in the forest sorrounding Chernobyl!

This show portrays these events outstandingly well. It is said that all those people who watched the fire from the bridge died soon after and it's called the bridge of death. back then the Soviet Union was a closed and secretive society, much like North Korea today. They were very conscious of the image they projected to the rest of the world and always projected an image of strength and harmony. The truth about the reactor explosion did not come to light until years later. You can actually visit Chernobyl today. There is still a lot of radiation there. Yes, it is HARD to watch - but not all of it is as hard as the first ep - though I won't lie, there is harder stuff to come.

500 times worse than Nagazaki and Hirosima man. And in the 3 mile Island they did just the same, but with the agravant that they already knew what would happen, because of Chernobyl. Hope you saw what l sent you about that Chernobyl is still burning, cause it is. 34 year later it keeps burning. Reminds me of "Burn" from Deep Purple BTW. Great serie, great score, great cinematogrphy, great reaction. Why the F are you so great man? LOL Keep it up my friend.
