I never got to see the end of this serie, but I am sure to see it now. And I am sure we'll see it. Be it the end of both of them. But the thing is, as far as I know, L hasn't done anything as bad as Light, so Ligth deserves to pay for all that he has done. As you Alex said. While he was killing criminals, I might as well turn my eyes away. As soon he killed innocent law- abading humans, he crossed the line. He is no longer someone I can trust. So I want to see his demise and fall. Because he deserves it.
