It's imposible since Is Reiner(l think) talking to that guy, and even if it was Eren. To whom would he go back not to be embarrased to go back to? It doesn't make sense. BUT, he could be a familiar related to Eren, since his hair and eyes match to those of the Doctor Jaegar, and all. Man. I am crazy, just like you taking possibiltys and making theorys. This is awesome. I love to be here thinking right along besides you. Let's see the next episode. I have been wrong all the way. You realize that the warriors were also just kids brainwashed and oppressed and given impossible missions. When I read some comments by people who complain that these episodes are boring because it doesn’t have actions, it makes me mad. AoT isn’t really for brainless morons who are in for it just for exciting actions only.

Just to let you know if you are interested in the future: this episode cut a lot of content from the manga, if you are interested in seeing more of the warriors infiltration on the walls, you can read chapter 96 and 1st half of 97 of the manga(they are found in volume 24). Just wanted to point out that in the reiner suicide attempt, in the manga he flashes back to multiple scenes, not only his talk with with Eren: he remembers his last conversation with bertholdt before the fight agaisnt the scouts at Season 3 Part 2. He remembers when he revealed himself as the armored titan. He remembers the decision to keep destroying wall rose, and he remembers marco's death.
