Massacre (V)... [Chapter 99]

“Bombarda Maxima!!” Bella snarled and a white beam came out of her hand and struck the wall. The wall was blown apart along with the people hiding behind the wall. The explosion was so powerful that even Daichi’s and Kanae’s ears started to ring, but Bella seemed to be completely fine…

‘Obviously, this isn’t her first time using the Spell’ Daichi concluded with an awed look on her face before he suddenly remembered that Bella could ignore pain if she desired. ‘Ah…’ Daichi released a sigh as he rushed toward the massive hole in the wall. Their enemies were still stunned due to the explosion and it would be a waste if he missed this chance.

Daichi pulled out the Wolf Fanged Dagger and stabbed a man. The man was leaning beside the hole while holding his left shoulder. His whole arm was blown off along with everything beneath his left knee due to the explosion. The man breathed out his last with an anguished look on his face.

Daichi yanked out the dagger and slammed his foot over the throat of the woman who was rolling on the ground right beside the man. The woman gasped in pain and horror as she started to claw at Daichi’s foot, but no matter how much the woman tried, she wasn’t able to make Daichi lift his foot.

Even if Daichi would have lifted his foot, the woman’s death was inevitable, Daichi had completely crushed her throat and spine. The woman was simply putting up her last fight before she finally died. While the woman was desperately trying to lift Daichi’s foot from her throat, he wasn’t even paying any attention to her.

Daichi simply turned his body and stabbed another woman in her face. The said woman wasn’t that affected by the explosion as she seemed to be completely fine. The woman was coughing when Daichi had walked through the hole, she had also noticed him, but she was in no condition to attack Daichi. Unfortunately for the woman, she was stabbed in the face before she could even catch her breath.

Daichi finally lifted his foot from the other woman’s throat, who was now staring at the endless, completely unmoving. Daichi placed his foot over the other woman’s chest and kicked her away. The woman was already dead, so it wasn’t a problem. The woman clashed against the wall on the opposite side and her whole body splattered across the wall, creating a unique graffiti.

‘This time I need to kill three people to increase the percentage… Or, it did increase after I just killed two of them, and by the time the notification arrived, I had already killed the third’ Daichi mused with a thoughtful look on his face. ‘Well, whatever… I don’t have the time to ponder right now’ Daichi grimaced.

Now that Daichi had killed three of the enemies, Daichi decided to look around to see how many enemies had survived the explosion. The explosion was quite strong, so Daichi was quite sure that a few enemies were already dead. Initially, Daichi had sensed 20 enemies and he killed three more. From the corner of his eyes, Daichi saw a yellow beam hit one of the men, and moments later, the man started to spit out his intestines.

Bella started to giggle like a child at the scene. ‘Fuck… That is disturbing in more than one way’ Daichi couldn’t help but grimace, but everyone has their own quirks. Daichi noticed that a lot of body parts were strewn across the floor and the walls liberally, but there was no way that he could discover how many enemies had died by simply counting the body parts.

A couple of enemies, who were closest to the wall were obviously shredded into tiny pieces due to the explosion. So, Daichi quickly counted the number of people who were still breathing. Daichi couldn’t help but smile when he found that only 9 people were still alive, which meant that Bella had killed 7 people with her Spell. Now they only needed to kill 9 more people…

So, without wasting any time, Daichi rushed toward the nearest man. Even though the man noticed Daichi, there was not much he could do because of the disparity between their Agility Stats. Daichi stabbed his dagger through the man’s eye. Once again, Daichi used his foot to kick away the body to pull out the dagger from his victim’s Skull, but this time, the body didn’t collide with a wall.

This time, the body collided with a man just behind the man Daichi killed. Both of the bodies flew back several meters before dropping to the ground. Daichi did not know if the man at the back was still alive or not, but even if he was, he wasn’t getting up anytime soon. He was knocked out cold…

‘Sweet!!’ Daichi cheered inside his mind, but once again he did not know for sure if he had killed two people or three people to increase the percentage. He could have used his newfound senses to find out if the man was alive or not, but he did not want to waste his time by concentrating his senses on someone who was obviously knocked out.

He had much better things to do, like step aside to dodge an incoming attack, so that is what he did. Daichi simply sidestepped and a combat knife passed by his head. It was a woman who had decided to take a shot when he was looking in the other direction. Daichi raised his arm and wrapped it around the woman’s neck as the woman passed by him.

From Daichi’s perspective, the woman was moving in slow motion, so he didn’t have any problems subduing the woman. Daichi pulled the woman into a choke hold and the woman screamed loudly, but the next moment, her whole body went limp as Daichi crushed her neck… Daichi slowly released the body and it slumped down on the floor.

Daichi slowly turned around as he was no longer in any hurry… After all, Bella and Kanae had killed the rest of the enemies…
