Annabell's Revenge [Chapter 59]
Added 2022-12-31 17:54:38 +0000 UTCDestiny jabbed her Wand at the Wards in front of her and ripped them apart with extreme ease… The Elder Wand was simply a lot more powerful than her old Wand. The Elder Wand was simply way more powerful than Neptune even before she met Lady Death and now that the Elder Wand has formed a special bond with her, she could feel a lot stronger than before.
It won’t be an exaggeration to say that right now, she was probably the strongest Wixen in the entire world… Destiny knew that she was still way too weak to call herself the strongest Witch to ever walk on Earth, but she was getting close to that level… She could feel it in her bones. She could feel the raw Magic slowly seeping into her bones from her Core, but the Elder Wand was simply cherry on the top.
Vinda simply stared at Destiny in complete awe as the air around Destiny started to shimmer… She had seen this happening with Gellert when he was going all-out and this was clear proof of Destiny’s power… Vinda also noticed how easily Destiny destroyed the Wards and what was even more surprising is that Destiny never bothered to check how strong the Wards were.
She simply walked up to them and ripped them with raw power…
Annabell witnessed the whole scene and started to clap her hands cheerfully… She had been waiting for this day for years and the day was finally here. She couldn’t be any more happier. She would have tried something on her own, but she was managing the children back at their base. While she was a bit unhappy about waiting so long, she didn’t mind it since she got to be around so many children. She loved all of them as her own.
“Well, that’s that…” Destiny mused while grinning widely. “Anna, now, the show is all yours” Destiny said as she waved her hand toward the Ismail Family manor.
“Anna is going to have a lot of fun, thank you Destiny!” Anna cheered as she started to skip toward the house.
Destiny shook her head with a smile before following Annabell. Vinda simply shrugged and decided to follow the duo. Once again, Vinda glanced toward the Wand in Destiny’s hand and she finally decided to ask the question that was nagging in her mind since she saw the Wand in Destiny’s hand. Previously, she had decided not to ask anything, but the curiosity was simply too much for her.
“That is Gellert’s Wand, isn’t it?” Vinda asked primly with her eyes fixated on the Wand.
Destiny raised the Wand and a smile tugged on her face… She already knew that some questions would be raised as a lot of people had seen Gellert with the Elder Wand and the people close to Gellert would definitely notice… Even though Destiny was expecting questions, she wasn’t going to reveal the truth to Vinda. The reason was quite simple, Vinda might be quite close to Gellert, but that didn’t mean Destiny would start trusting the woman out of the blue.
“We had a duel and I won the Wand’s loyalty when I overpowered him… He had tried using this Wand, but this Wand no longer works for him, so I decided to keep this” Destiny revealed with a smile as she turned to look at Vinda.
“That was an amazing duel!! Anna had a lot of fun!” Annabell added from the side, looking extremely excited before Vinda could say anything. Meanwhile, Vinda was staring at Destiny, completely wide-eyed. She could see that Destiny was strong, the way she ripped apart the Wards was proof enough, but it was still hard to believe that she beat Gellert in a duel.
She had seen Gellert go all out and he was God among men… She had seen him rip apart a full squad of Aurors like they were a group of first years. Now, Vinda was seriously wondering why Destiny never bothered to reveal herself to the world… Their task would have become a lot simpler with Destiny fighting beside Gellert, but she could understand the fact that Destiny wanted to act from the shadows. Nobody knew about her, so they would be completely taken by surprise if she ever decided to reveal herself.
“I see…” Vinda simply nodded her head when she finally regained her bearings.
“So, you are finally here! I knew I should have never involved myself with that madman!” A voice was heard from the house. Destiny guessed that Kaloyan was probably using the Sonorus Charm. “Did you really think I wasn’t prepared for something like this? Even though I can’t escape, I have already sent for Aurors!” The voice exclaimed and Destiny couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows.
She was quite aware of the fact that the barrier she raised wasn’t absolute and there were means to send messages to the outside world from within the barrier, but it was highly unlikely that someone would be able to break the barrier. First of all, there was the power factor and then there was the fact that the barrier could be only brought down by someone who is adept in Blood Magic or then won’t be able to recognize the barrier in the first place.
Annabell immediately turned toward Destiny with a worried look on her face… She didn’t want to fail after coming so close. “Don’t worry, Anna. You simply need to handle the fool and I will handle the Aurors if it becomes necessary” Destiny assured and the excited look returned to Annabell’s face.
Vinda wanted to offer her help, but there was a chance that Destiny might take offense at that, so she simply decided to keep her silence.
Destiny turned toward the Ward line when she felt someone attack the barrier… She noticed a group of Wixen, dressed in red robes. ‘Aurors… They were pretty quick’ Destiny mused inside her mind but decided to ignore them for the time being. There wasn’t much they could do right now… Though she started to wonder if she could use them to test the Elder Wand. She wanted to know if the Aurors were any good, in case they decided to oppose Gellert’s take-over…
‘Hmm… First, let’s deal with Kaloyan and his family’ Destiny decided inside her mind as with a wave of her free hand, she ripped apart the wall of the mansion.
Screams were heard from the inside as the whole house shook… Once again, Vinda couldn’t help but stare at Destiny with wide eyes. Destiny cleared her throat as she looked up at the first floor of the mansion. Through her Magical Sonar, she easily found where the residents of the house were hiding. The house elf was also there, so she wouldn’t need to look for the loyal creature.
“Kaloyan Ismail, please step outside and accept your fate and your wife and children will be spared, if not, then the Ismail Family will end today” Destiny cast the Sonorus Charm Wandlessly on herself before delivering the message. Vinda realized that she would probably lose her mind as Destiny kept breaking common sense. Even Gellert wasn’t this good when it came to Wandless Magic, so she simply decided to ignore Destiny’s action from now on and simply go along with the flow.
"No?" Destiny asked after a few seconds of silence. "Fine, I will deal with you all, myself" The smile on Destiny's face disappeared as she stiffly nodded her head. After that, Destiny canceled the Sonorus Charm before turning toward Annabell.
"Do you want me to subdue them or do you want to deal with them yourself?" Destiny asked curiously. She didn't want to take Annabell's fun and she also knew that Annabell had been waiting for this day for a long time.
Annabell cutely inclined her head with a contemplative look on her face. "I want to deal with that bastard, myself. Can you handle the others?" Annabell asked with a maddening glint in her eyes, only for Destiny to nod her head in agreement. "Excellent!!" Annabell cheered as she started to clap her hands in excitement.
After that, without wasting any more time, the three of them entered the house. Kaloyan could have prepared traps for them since he was already expecting attacks, so Destiny was being quite careful even though she wasn't showing it outwardly. She didn't want either Annabell or Vinda to be hurt and she was confident that she could raise a Magical shield before anything happened. Her reaction speed and reflexes were simply that fast.
The trio arrived at the first floor and Destiny jerked her head toward the room where the Ismail Family was hiding. Vinda nodded her head and pulled out her Wand, just in case. The Ismail Family has been cornered, so they might try something desperate to protect themselves and Vinda didn't want to die.
Destiny raised her hand and flicked her finger and the door was ripped apart from the hinges along with the rest of the door frame… Screams were heard and Spells started to fly out of the room, but Destiny easily dealt with all of them even without raising her Wand. She strode inside the room without any care, and as soon as she entered the room, Kaloyan decided to use the Killing Curse.
"Avada Kedavra!!" Kaloyan snarled, and Destiny simply summoned the house-elf, who was standing at the side in the path of the Spell to protect herself. The said creature slumped down on the ground, completely lifeless after the green beam splashed against its back. The woman cowering in the corner of the room started to scream and the children were hiding inside the closet. Destiny flicked her hand upwards, blasting away the whole roof, making Kaloyan pale in fear…
The man didn't even notice the fact stopped casting Spells or he ended up lowering his Wand. He simply lost all of this will to fight due to the small display of power. The woman in the corner started to cower even more… Destiny nodded her head in satisfaction. There was a reason why she decided to rip apart the roof, she wanted to show them her power. She wanted to make them understand how useless their attempts were…
"Good, now I finally have your attention. You finally understand the difference between us and you finally understand how useless your attempts were… It would have been much easier if you had decided to take my offer, so while I would have loved to make your death quite painful, I am not the one who is going to kill you" Destiny said with a disappointed look on her face as she simply narrowed her eyes at the man to levitate him in the air.
Kaloyan screamed and started to frail as his body was lifted up in the air. "Don't struggle, It will only make it much harder for you" Destiny said as she started to levitate the man outside the house.
"Why are you doing this? Do you want gold? I will return to Gellert!! I will join his cause again!!" The man pleaded desperately as he continued to struggle, but Destiny wasn't going to release him.
"You left his cause once, you can leave him again, but this is not happening because you left his cause. Anna, please come here" Destiny called out and the said woman stepped into the room, making the man pale even more, and the woman in the corner started to sob, but Destiny easily noticed that the woman still had her Wand clutched in her robes. She was probably waiting for a chance to attack them. The woman was genuinely afraid, but a desperate mother could do a lot of things to protect her children.
"Hello, husband" Annabell waved her hand at Kaloyan with a giggle. "I have so much for this day" Annabell breathed out, looking extremely excited.
"Annabell, I am going to drop him outside, why don't you go and have some fun with him?" Destiny suggested and Annabell immediately started to nod her head. She walked off toward the broken wall and jumped outside without a care, but before she could land, she cast the Arresto Momentum Spell on herself to slow her descent. Destiny simply lowered Kaloyan to the ground at some distance before she turned toward Vinda.
"Why don't you go and keep and keep an eye on her?" Destiny requested and Vinda immediately nodded her head and jumped outside following Annabell's example.
Destiny stared at Vinda's retreating back as all of a sudden, she simply raised her free hand and batted away a Cutting Curse. Destiny slowly turned around to look at the woman, who was pointing her Wand at Destiny with trembling hands. The woman was completely pale like she had lost all her blood.
"That was a good plan, but you need to do better than that" Destiny said with a tick as she glanced toward a chair. The chair slid toward her and Destiny plopped down lazily before looking at the woman.
The woman slowly stood up, her whole body trembling in fear. "Please spare my children… They are completely innocent" The woman stuttered out and her Wand cluttered on the floor.
"I wasn't planning to kill you or your children in the first place. We are fighting to build a better world for our kind and I have already split a lot of Magical Blood, I want to avoid spilling Magical Blood as much as I can" Destiny said as she Conjured a chair for the woman with a simple gesture of her Wand.
The woman looked at the chair and sat down looking extremely nervous. "Though I simply can't spare you without any insurance" Destiny added, making the woman even more nervous and tears started to roll down her eyes.
A loud scream was heard from the outside and since the voice was masculine, Destiny wasn't worried. Annabell was probably using the Cruciatus Curse on the man.
The woman shuddered at the screams and her sobs intensified. She would have broken down long ago, but she knew she couldn't… For her children, she couldn't. "Wh-what do you want from me?" The woman stuttered out in between her sobs.
"I commend you… What's your name?" Destiny asked softly.
The woman released a shuddered breath as she controlled her sobs. "Cilene Ismail neé Ungerd" The woman said as she released another shuddered breath.
"You see, I will spare you but I want to perform a Ritual so that neither you nor your children can hurt Annabell in the future" Destiny revealed what she wanted from the woman.
"Alright… alright" Cilene easily agreed as she didn't care much about revenge in the first place and since her children were going to be spared along with her, there was no reason for her to deny the olive branch. Cilene never loved Kaloyan in the first place, it was her father who arranged the marriage for her.
"Okay… Then, why don't you call your children? I can't perform the Ritual here so I will be taking all of you back with me" Destiny suggested and the woman shuddered again.
"Pleas…" Cilene was about to start begging, but Destiny simply raised her hand to Silence her.
"I am not going to hurt you as I said before. If I wanted to hurt you or your children then we wouldn't be talking right now…" Destiny said dismissively as she snapped her fingers to cancel the Silencing Charm she used on Cilene. "Now, get your children. Their fight is already over and Annabell is simply having some fun right now" Destiny added as she summoned a fountain pen from the broken desk.
Cilene released another sob as she slowly stood up and made her way toward the closer. Her whole body was still trembling, the woman was probably scared out of her mind, but the only thing stopping her from breaking down was the safety of her children. The woman shuddered again as she unlocked the closet, revealing two children inside, who were cowering in fear while hugging each other.
Meanwhile, Destiny tapped the tip of her own Wand on the fountain pen as she started to Charm it as a Portkey. It took her only a few seconds to turn the fountain pen into a Portkey and after that, she summoned Cilene's Wand as she didn't want to leave the Wand. When she was finally done, she turned to Cilene, who was trying to console her children.
The screams have stopped some time ago, so Annabell was probably done too. Cilene was finally able to console and with a bit more effort, she was able to bring them out of the closet, but as soon as they were out of the closet, she pulled them behind her back in a protective manner. After a few seconds, Annabell and Vinda finally returned to the room. Annabell had a long cut on her left hand, but she was no longer bleeding from the wound and her stuffed toy was still clutched in her hand.
~~With Annabell~~ (A few minutes ago)
Annabell was bubbling in excitement, she was barely holding herself back. She clutched the stuffed toy tightly as Destiny finally lowered Kaloyan to the ground and Annabell was the first one to cast the first Spell.
Kaloyan barely managed to dodge the Spell. "Listen, Anna. There is no need to do this… If you had agreed to have another child then I wouldn't have been forced to marry someone else" Kaloyan tried to defend his actions, but he barely dodged another Spell and this time the Spell would have probably taken off his head if he hadn't dodged.
"How dare you??!!! How dare you try to sully the place of my baby boy!! Nobody could have replaced my baby boy!!" Annabell screeched in fury as she started to cast extremely dark Spells at Kaloyan. If any of them hit him then Kaloyan would die and he would die extremely painfully.
"Do you think I wasn't feeling bad for losing my child? I was heartbroken too, but I couldn't have let my family die and you galloping around with another man! I couldn't have waited any longer!" The man screamed back as for the first time he started to fight back. He realized that he couldn’t talk out of this… If he was going to go down, then he was going to take her down with him.
Kaloyan noticed that Annabell had a stuffed toy clutched in her left hand and she seemed to be a bit slower on the left side. So, Kaloyan decided to take advantage of that, he was so busy dodging the attacks that he didn’t even notice Vinda’s arrival. While Kaloyan didn’t notice Vinda’s arrival, it wasn’t the same for Annabell. Even though she only wanted to kill Kaloyan as painfully as she could, she was distracted for a bit due to Vinda’s arrival.
Kaloyan took advantage of her distraction and cast a Cutting Curse at her… He could have used something else too, but Cutting Curses are more faster than any of the other lethal Spells he knew and it was also much easier to cast. Annabell’s eyes grew wide in surprise when she noticed the Spell as it was too late for her to dodge the Spell completely. The Spell graze her arm and she growled in anger as she balefully glared at the man.
Kaloyan simply clicked his tongue when his Spell failed to have the desired effect, but he immediately started to regret his failure as Annabell became even more relentless than before. Annabell internally cheered when her Skin Boiling Curse grazed his leg and he stumbled. Kaloyan hissed in pain when the Spell hit him on the leg, but he wasn’t able to gather his bearing before a wide Cutting Curse hit him at the knees. Kaloyan screamed in pain as he fell down after losing both of his legs.
“How does that feel, dear husband?” Annabell asked in an amused tone as she disarmed Kaloyan. Annabell cackled madly as she stepped over Kaloyan’s Wand, snapping it. “How does it feel? Why don’t you answer?” Annabell cooed as she placed the tip of her Wand over her wound. She traced the wound with the tip of her Wand and the bound stopped bleeding.
“Answer me!!” Annabell screeched, her eyes glowing with madness. Kaloyan raised his head with a bit of difficulty and spat in Annabell’s direction even though the spit didn’t reach anywhere close to her. “You dare?!! Crucio!!” Annabell snarled as she pointed her Wand at the man and cast the Cruciatus Curse.
Kaloyan started to scream at the top of his lungs… He had never felt so much pain in his whole pain. He had no idea how much time has passed, but he wanted the pain to stop… Yes… He would do anything for the pain to stop, but unfortunately, the pain didn’t disappear. Tears started to trickle down his eyes, and he started to bleed from his ears and nose as his mind started to blackout. Then just before he thought, he would lose his consciousness, the pain disappeared.
His whole body continued to spasm as pain ghost pains continued to travel to his body… “You decided to abandon me so that you could continue your progeny, didn’t you?” Annabell cooed softly as she leaned over Kaloyan, who was barely holding on to his sanity. She pointed her Wand at his crotch and cast the Castrating Curse. Kaloyan’s crotch exploded in a mist of blood and gore. Even Vinda who was standing a bit far winced at the scene.
Kaloyan squealed like a pig as he curled into a fetal position and started to sob… “I would have loved to increase your suffering, but I want you to die in anguish, knowing that you are your filthy Family is going to follow” Annabell spat out in disgust as she cast the Skin Rotting Curse on Kaloyan to kill him. It was a slow and extremely painful way to go. She wasn’t going to kill the woman or their spawns, but she simply wanted to make it more painful for Kaloyan.
Kaloyan started to scream as his body started to rot, but Annabell didn’t wait to see him die. Instead, she turned toward Vinda and beamed at the woman. “Anna had a lot of fun. Let’s go back, Destiny is probably waiting for us” Annabell cheered happily as she skipped toward Vinda. The black-haired Witch smiled widely and nodded her head in agreement…
~~Back at Present~~
"Good, the two of you are finally here" Destiny nodded her head as she held out the Portkey. She didn't bother to tell Cilene anything and simply glanced at her from the corner of her eyes. The said woman trembled as she slowly started to make her way toward Destiny. The children hiding behind Cilene clutched her more tightly as Cilene reached out to the Portkey.
Destiny stared outside the window, only to notice almost a hundred Aurors gathered outside the barrier. Just like she expected, they weren’t able to break through the barrier. She wanted to test them so badly and she confided that she could take on all of them, but she ultimately decided against it… She still needed time to perform three Rituals to protect Annabell from Cilene and her children and Gellert’s meeting was going to start in an hour and didn’t want to miss it at any cost…
“Station” Destiny called out to activate the Portkey when Annabell and Vinda grabbed the Portkey. This time, Destiny wasn’t worried about someone tracing her Portkey as by the time they will be able to bring down the barrier, the traces of her Portkey would be gone…

~~King Cross Street~~
“Merlin!!” Minerva gasped as her hand flew up to her mouth. She looked around in complete horror… There was barely anything left at King Cross Street. Wizards and Witches could be seen milling around trying to clear the rubble, looking for any survivors even though the chances of finding a survivor were extremely low.
Apparently, someone decided to release Fiendfyre in such a crowded place and now the Ministry was asking for help to deal with the aftermath. Armando Dippet, Headmaster of Hogwarts also decided to send his staff to provide help. That is why Minerva was here along with the rest of her colleagues.
"This was probably the biggest attack on Muggles since the Statute was enacted" One of Minerva's colleagues muttered as he looked around. "I don't think even Grindelwald has killed so many when he decided to release the Obscurus in the middle of New York" The man added as he shook his head.
While Grindelwald had probably killed more Muggles than the number of Muggles who died here, the said Dark Lord didn't kill so many or so brazenly…
Albus Dumbledore looked around with tears pooling in his eyes… The war is finally here. He didn't know what to say… So many have died… Albus finally noticed Torquil Travers approaching them. The man looked tired, Albus didn't expect anything less. This attack will cause a huge fall-out and they didn't even know how the Muggle Government was going to react.
"Thanks for coming. We will need all the help we can get" Torquil said mutely when he finally arrived in front of them. The man no longer had his arrogance…
"How did this happen, Torquil?" Albus asked with a pained look on his face.
"Fuck if I know! Someone probably decided that it was a good day to hunt Muggles and here we are" Torquil snorted tiredly. The man looked defeated. "The Prime Minister and the Queen are already out for blood. The Queen wants everyone responsible for this arrested and brought to her court to face judgment or she will remove our autonomy" Torquil revealed, making Albus pale in horror.
If the Queen decided to remove their autonomy, then they would be brought under the rule of the Crown and there is no way Pureblood Families would accept a Muggle ruling them. They will run straight to Gellert. They couldn't let that happen… They needed to catch everyone responsible for this heinous crime and hand them over to the Queen.
"What does the Prime Minister say, Torquil?" Albus inquired softly and the grimace on his face increased.
"The Prime Minister wants the same, but at the same time, he is planning to restrict us some more" Torquil said as he took off his hat and ran his hands through his hair. He wasn't worried about the others around Albus hearing his words, after all, everything was going to be revealed in the Wizengamot meeting and Ministry Fawley was planning to reveal everything to the general public to garner support.
"This is really bad, how can we help?" One of the Professors asked.
"Yeah… We need to get this place cleaned as quickly as possible. Follow me, I will show you where you guys are needed" Torquil said as he started to lead the group through the scorched land…
