Dark-Lord-Voldemort? (II) [Chapter 209]

“You must be joking, boss… He will kill me if he doesn’t hand me over to his followers to amuse himself” Rita blurted out in a fearful tone before she shivered. She had heard stories of women being handed over to Death Eaters before they were finally killed after experiencing hours if not days of violation, or in her case it could be worse… She might get tortured by that mad cow Bellatrix or the Dark Lord himself for information.

“Don’t worry, I am not talking about the real Voldemort, but what if someone gave you an interview posing as Voldemort? Would you be able to publish that?” Harry asked with a grin on his face and Rita finally understood what Harry was trying to tell her. It would be hard to convince Cuffe to publish the interview, but if Harry managed to persuade him, it could work. Though it would definitely paint a massive target behind her back and maybe Cuffe too…

Additionally, the article was also going to ruffle the Ministry as the Minister had been trying his best to curb any rumors about the return of You-Know-Who… To be honest, Rita didn’t care much about Cuffe, but he was a family man, so she wasn’t sure what to do about him as You-Know-Who would most certainly go after him to enact his misguided vengeance… Maybe, she could ask Harry to extend him an invitation to join Lost Garden.

“I will have to lie low for the next couple of months as he would be out for my blood” Rita pointed out and Harry simply inclined his head in acknowledgement. “He will also target Cuffe” She added in a careful tone.

“You are welcome to stay at the base and as for Cuffe, you can extend him an invitation, but if he refuses, then he is on his own” Harry explained with a shrug.

That was good enough for Rita… If Cuffe refused the invitation then there was nothing she could do. “Alright. So, how are we going to do this?” Rita asked as she pulled out her notebook and her quick notes quill from the bag. The notebook and the quick notes quill started to float beside her in the air. This wasn’t the first time she was working on a fake interview, but this was the first time she was working on something this dangerous.

“Since we are doing this, I want to make this as legit as we can” Harry declared before he turned toward the only other occupant inside the room. Rita had noticed the woman as soon as she entered the room, but only now did she see the woman closely and she had to admit, there was a certain dangerous vibe to the woman. She had no idea who the woman was, but considering the company Harry usually kept, she was probably quite dangerous. “Kate, let’s go” Harry declared and a portal appeared beside them.

Katerina, who was waiting for the signal while leaning on the wall, immediately pushed herself off… Harry had decided to give her a pet nickname as Katerina was somewhat big, and if she was being honest, she didn’t mind… Once upon a time, she was completely loyal to Gellert Grindelwald and she still was, but that didn’t mean that she wasn’t loyal to Harry. He freed her from that wretched place and then he returned her youth to her, so it was obvious that she had started to become loyal to him.

In fact, she was starting to become more loyal to him with each passing day as Gellert was no longer the man she followed in the past… He might be back in his prime, but he was nothing but a broken husk of the man he used to be while Harry was much more than that…

A green portal opened beside Harry and he gestured toward the portal while he glanced toward Katerina and Rita. “Ladies first” He urged and with an unsure look on her face, Rita stepped through the portal and found herself outside a familiar mansion while Katerina gave Harry an amused look before she entered the portal, and lastly, Harry stepped through the portal.

“Um… Why are we here?” Rita asked, pointing toward the house.

“Hmm… The Minister and his pet froggy did their best to hide the return of Voldemort, so isn’t it fitting for Voldemort to kill them since they denied his glorious return?” Harry asked, looking mirthful and Katerina simply nodded her head along with him since she would be getting to kill people. It has been some time since she tortured anyone before killing them. In her last mission, she was strictly ordered against killing anyone, so she had to hold herself back.

Meanwhile, Rita paled at the revelation… She gulped nervously as she felt her palms starting to sweat. She knew Harry was a killer and he had killed a lot of people, but she had never witnessed any killing herself, but that was going to change now. “We will start with the Minister's pet froggy before moving on to the Minister” Harry declared nonchalantly before he started to head toward the house, without caring about any protections or Wards.

When the trio were almost in front of the mansion, the air shimmered and a translucent barrier came into their view for a second, before it disappeared when Harry punched a hole through the Wards… “You know this is going to cause too much chaos?” Rita asked in a nervous tone, just trying to change the topic or distract herself from murder to be. Harry turned around and gave her a ‘Are you serious?’ look.

“Harry, why did you even bring this scaredy cat?” Katerina asked with a frown. Rita bristled at the question, but she was a coward at heart, so she simply decided to take the insult.

“Rita is not like us, Kate… She is not accustomed to killing, but she will eventually get used to it, and as for why she is here… As I said, I need her to witness everything with her own eyes so that she could pour her true emotions into her words” Harry explained, and after pondering for a bit Katerina nodded her head in understanding. “Now, it's gentlemanly to knock on the door” Harry declared with a nod before he blasted the front of the house with a jab of his hand.

“Knock knock, froggy!” Harry crowed in a gleeful tone, leaving Rita to gape at Harry with a dumbfounded look on her face. She already knew Harry was insane, but now she had proof! Meanwhile, Katerina had stars in her eyes… She decided that she was going to follow Harry’s example from now on and knock on everyone’s door like the gentlewoman she was. After that, without saying anything else, the trio entered the house and Rita still didn’t know how to react.

The trio arrived in the living room and Harry used his magic to fix the broken couch… “Kate, why don’t you go and capture the froggy hiding in the basement while Rita and I discuss the upcoming interview?” Harry requested and Katerina started to grin ferally before she gave him a nod and walked away with the intention of finding Dolores Umbridge hiding in the basement. “By the way, be careful of her, she does have a tendency to use Killing Curses” Harry pointed out just before she walked out of the living room.

Katerina gave him a grateful look before she decided to continue with her mission… “I have already managed to come up with some questions” Rita revealed and Harry simply urged her to continue. “How did you return? Didn’t you die when Harry Potter reflected the Killing Curse back at you?” Rita asked and her quick note quill started to write down on the notebook. Harry seemed to ponder a bit before he finally opened his mouth.

“If I didn’t have the need for you then I would have killed you for presuming that a one year old babe could defeat me” Harry answered and Rita shivered at his words, even though Harry only sounded amused instead of angry. “Though I admit, Lily Potter was able to come up with a really good trap, regardless of her… origins” Harry added, looking giddy, but he made the words sound distasteful as he spoke.

“As for how I returned, I am immortal. I cannot be killed, it is just as simple as that” Harry declared with a scoff, but anyone who would read his answer would find his words arrogant and intimidating.

“I see…” Rita mumbled, acting her own part and the quick notes quill continued to note down their words. “What do you truly want to achieve?” Rita questioned, moving on, but she decided to add some stutter to her words, to make the interview look more genuine, but before Harry could answer, there was a loud bang from the basement and the house trembled a bit. Rita looked around worriedly while Harry didn’t look bothered in the slightest.

“I want to claim my rightful place and that is becoming the Emperor of this whole world” Harry declared with another snort. “I believe we should put this interview on hold as one of my other guests is finally here” Harry declared as Rita turned toward the door only to see Katerina entering the room while dragging Dolores Umbridge behind her.

“Is that Dolores Umbridge?” Rita asked, once again acting her part.

“Why, yes, of course, she is” Harry declared jovially before he stood up. “Madam Undersecretary tried her best to crush any news of my return and I can’t have that, can I? If they keep denying my return then how will people realize that I am back again, how will they learn to live in my fear again?” Harry asked as he walked toward Dolores Umbridge. The woman dressed in a horrid pink cardigan stared at Harry with fear and complete outrage in her eyes and Harry decided to praise Katerina later for silencing the froggy.

“Bella dear, thank you for grabbing Madam Umbridge for me, but now I want to hear her scream” Harry said and moments later, Dolores started to scream at the top of her lungs when Katerina removed the Silencing Charm before pressing her boot on the Umbridge’s fingers…
