My dad is 70 years old and he decided to organize his solo gig in one of Moscow clubs "Rhythm and Blues Cafe".
In the 1st part on the gig he played his new songs, then he played some of his old famous songs of his band "Ariel".
In the second part he wanted us to play our Beatles program that we used to do in Liverpool every year. He loves the Beatles - it's his fav band and it was the band that made him to choose to be a rock musician rather than an orchestra conductor which his professors in his music university wanted him to be.
I myself haven't been performing since January, so almost 5 months. And I was glad to come back on stage. But on the other hand I don't like to have too little rehearsal before gig - which happens to be the case ALL the time - because everyone is super busy ahahha. But I was ok - it was more like a jam to me. Was tough at the beginning - I was thinking about my lentils 3 times a day - it is maybe not enough to jump on stage like a horse again, but closer to the second part I was singing a bit better luckily! My dad was happy and satisfied and it is the most important thing! We had an amazing evening all together.
Then ate some sushi rolls with eel and gone home to sleep :))
