Little pre-story here. Hall Bruce is a Canadian musician and I met him many years ago in Liverpool because we both were performing on the Beatleweek festival playing the Beatles music. Later one of next years he planned a big open air show in Liverpool called Summer Of Love Show. He contacted me and asked if I could be a part of his show and I said yes of course! All the men musicians were from different countries - Australia, Germany, UK, USA, Canada. I was invited to perform 3 solo songs - Me and my Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin, and White Rabbit and Somebody to love by Jefferson Airplane. So I was learning this song being in Moscow a couple of months prior coming to Liverpool. The shows were pretty huge - about 15 000 people on the streets! I loved singing it. It was even better to sing it outside in such an opened space - there was very natural "reverb" - the sound was flying out there and it was a bit like a thunder. So it was an additional effect to it because in the original recording you can hear that huge reverb they used.
