Voting results! and minor rule changes.

Votes piling up yields comments like what Tarchaya posted, patrons get discouraged (which I saw coming). Ironic because within 60 minutes he posted what I was trying to point out. As to the overall what I was trying to say, I was just saying (I have not glanced into the .PSD) that it appears Ayn uses your full-blown shading technique and you told us with the Tigress gal you have a new, more efficient technique now; so why not switch over? The answer of course is that some patrons may prefer the more elaborate technique. I would trade out the more time-consuming shading to get a second pinup. That's just my input; other patrons may have a different perspective.

Hahah, I mean, I won't remove them, but I get what you're saying. and I can't think of a good, big way to change that. Maybe force it at some point or balance it out with a rule somewhere? I also might just pick them myself, too.. like "ill do the main pinup like normal, and then another, pick between Nytro, Rane, and Loki" and then have people vote a second time just between those three to choose. Or spin a wheel, etc. I have a few ideas for ways I'll pick the second pinup per month when we get to that milestone. I do want to draw the guys, yeah!

I thought I knew what you meant in the first post you made Bruce, but now I'm not sure. I thought you just meant appearing on the roster. But the second post I think you're talking about how some character's votes get that much higher than others. I think when it does get to the point that I'm doing 2 pinups a month, it will settle down real quick. And no, they won't be nearly as complicated as Ayn or Lola's pinups. A dozen+ alt versions is fun, in SOME ways but.. yeah it was also very taxing on me and I don't think entirely necessary. To respond to Volpe's comment about "significantly more work" I dunno.. in hindsight another pinup entirely might've been less work than the alt process for Ayn. I'm all for making at least two versions (censored where possible and not censored), but as for re-working the roster, I'm not opposed to that, if I can think of a good way to do it. One way would be to simply make it bigger. Another might be to re-balance the votes per tier. I'm not sure, but I also don't think it matters too much. The votes piling up doesn't really mean anything other than picking who I'll do a pinup of. It's not really a 'backlog'.

As hard as I've been gunning for Mik, Zofie is still a huge cutie and I'm excited to see you really show her off for once. That said, there's something I'd like to see you as an adult artist work more on moving forward. You have a really good grasp of anatomy and positioning, and your sexual detail is pretty top-notch. My only criticism in that regard is that you draw vulvas very... samey. They're all tight and neat and tucked. I would love to see more pussy variety from you. Let's see some more protruding lips, more ruffles, more shapes and such. Let those lips pout and dangle and spread in different ways. You don't seem to have much trouble doing different dick shapes, so let's see similar treatment for the girlyparts. :D

Doing a complete extra pinup would be significantly more work than adding all those extras to Ayn's. The extras don't include a total new character with all the coloring and shading and background work that entails. It doesn't matter that several characters are creeping toward 100 votes. All that matters is which one is highest. As the patreon grows, we're going to see higher and higher numbers on these votes.

Well, honestly, you are the one who made the pinup into a huge monthly process with 100+ possible combos for Ayn. I would have been content with 2 pinups for last month off the 'bingo sheet', maybe 2 combos - Ayn in her panties and Ayn in her heat (pure cheesecake stuff) and some other character pinup, also with two combinations only; both pinups using your new process (the birthday tigress image where it was "suddenly, tits appear"). So now probably folks are thinking I am complaining about a complicated pinup like Ayn; no, what was delivered is a very nice thing for a Patreon patron to receive. Just saying if the artist has issues elsewhere - like stuff backing up on a voting sheet - maybe there is a better way to manage things? And it does appear stuff is starting to back up - you now have 2 images with 100 votes each and a few items in the 80 vote and 90 vote territory.

Yes, that's still a rule. And they don't lose votes, so, even if it went up and back down, the total wouldn't lower. But realistically, if they kept getting little to no votes, they deserve to lose anyhow. No sense in doing a huge monthly pinup of a character funded by hundreds of people if only 1-3 actually like the character.

And what about the 50 vote 'lock in'? Is that still a rule? I think the 50 votes sub-rule is a good one - would get HIGHLY frustrating to see a character inch up, inch up, inch up, then slide back down onto the waitlist. But oh no, wait, back onto the 'bingo voting card'; inch up, inch up, slide down, back onto the waitlist. But oh no, wait, back onto the 'bingo voting card'; inch up, inch up, naw, now starting to slide back down... rinse and repeat twenty times.
