at the moment, 5$ and up patrons get a dropbox link to the folder where i update the page as they're made, but 1$ patrons an such still see it here earlier than publicly, just later than 5$ and up. Some people just bump up their pledge to 5 and go back down to 1 every few months to see what pages ive added; and i'm fine with that, its still being supported. But at the moment, 1$ just see it here earlier, whereas a 5$ and up pledge will let you see the rest. just an early-viewing-bonus. Hope that helps!

I don't think Patreon is a viable business model for getting what you think you're worth. It's purely based on what "others" think you're worth. If you're in a position to do what you enjoy AND get paid for it, then alone that's better than most solutions.

I like the dropbox method. It's good and allows me to get the pages I don't have. Some who do comics on here put all completed pages in a zip file each month, resulting in numerous copies of earlier pages as each month goes by. However you decide to continue handling it, I hope you keep using dropbox for it.

On the other hand I don't think only putting the months new pages in would cause less new people to subscribe. They would always have the web resolution version or could pay for previous months content to get the earlier pages in HD.

Haha, thanks! And the seeds are my leeway into the world if I do more Predators afterwards; just something minor to give the setting a touch of depth since I'm apparently not content with just "here's animals in the wild and they fuck".

Yeah and that's one reason I've been doing it this way in the first place, to let everyone in on the entirety from the get-go when they pledge, and it doesn't bother me, I just wonder if there's a better way to do it.

We (I, personally) don't pledge to get a quick grab of something complete then jump ship. We choose to pledge you because we want to support you even further than you have come so far. We plan to stick to you for well over a single month pledge.

I won't presume to know what's best for you fluff but in my opinion cutting off the beginning of the comic to new subscribers will only alienate them. I think new subs should only be cut off from a comic after it is already complete/ new one starts.

Just include each month's Predators comics with the monthly ZIPs. Every page is getting publicly posted anyway, so those who missed out on the hi-res versions can view them on your FA gallery. You could also make the full HD comic available for a standalone fee after finishing the last page. I just would rather not see you as the subject of Patreon abuse because some people will cut as many corners as they can to get the most for the little (or no) money they provide.

Only rewarding the most recent pages seems awkward. If I was newly pledging primarily for the comic, I would rather see the start of it, not like... a teaser? A carrot on a stick. I especially wouldn't want to be spoiled if it's a more story-centric comic, like what you said you wanted to do for your scifi setting. Personally, I don't see an issue with keeping it as it is now. You can't -force- someone to be a good patron unless you take measures that punish all the other fans as well, and if they're coming in with the intent of pledging once to see all the current pages before dropping it, then they weren't going to be a valuable patron to begin with. If someone wants to skip the public posting delay, they can easily just go look at it on an image board. As far as I know, most of your patrons are here for the continual early access to stuff and bonus variations on the pinups. You have this place set up pretty well to reward commitment, so in my opinion, you don't need to split hairs on this issue. As for the new page: hot DAMN Rehzi is productive. Mihari better hope cheetahs and gazelle aren't compatible, because if they are, she is definitely pregnant. And as much as I have -loved- the glorious lewdness here, I'm super interested in the wrap-up pages and the epilogue you mentioned. Like... the fuck is up with them seeds? I'm very curious about some of the overarching details of this setting, so I'll be looking forward to that. :D
