Hey there, I’m sure you guys have already noticed some of the posts I’ve made recently; I’ve added an “unreleased” watermark on them.
This is because I found out from a friend [thanks Cr0nicallyInsane, much love] that my work has been leaked on a site made for stealing patreon content and exclusives for money.
Jynx, teckwork, killiah and scifijack have been hit as well. The sad thing is there’s not much I can do outside of getting a lawyer. So to fight this or atleast deter the leakers, I’ve made a quick watermark. If you guys wanna see this stuff without it you can join the discord to see everything without the mark.
Apparently some other artists have done this as well and ScifiJack has even made some of his work exclusive to his discord, which is clever but damaging to the site itself. I don’t wanna take it that far, I just want to irritate any leakers enough to lose interest.
Years of work being pawned off to a site that does this to thousands of other creators just trying to get by when work isn’t enough, And then they have the audacity to have a donation cup?!
It’s infuriating to think about and I’m sorry it’s been affecting my work. That being said, just so you won’t have to deal with the watermarking, I’m giving you the option to join the discord server to see the work as intended. Even if it’s just for the for the art that’s fine. Hop in, introduce yourselves, and mute all other channels aside from “PatreonExclusives”
