Added 2018-04-03 09:02:19 +0000 UTCOk there's a story around this. So a while ago I made a post/rant of me being done with the influx of overly simplified fan art of the new starter pkmn, primarily Primarina .
However in that drunken rant, someone got hurt in the crossfire and I wanted to set the record straight; I am a fan of @alfa995?'s work. I needed to make amends, so for the most part I rewrote the rant to be more intelligible and critical of artists that think using the circle tool is the same thing as writing War and Peace.Not neccerassly their fault, when you're surrounded by hoards of horny teenagers; what other critique would you expect outside of "DRAW MORE BOOBIES!!".
So Alfa commented on the rewrite and we talked for about a minute to patch things up, but to show I wasn't playing around I promised him some art as a form of my admiration.
Time passed, ideas came and went, from file titles like "Dr. Doe vs. Rick and Morty" to "obligatory Jojo reference that I'm surprised no one has done yet". It's been a year since that promise was made (at least it feels like it) and I'm just glad to keep my word. There's still other promises that I need to get to, but May is coming around the corner and I need to prepare for another yearly project.
