まだ保証期間内だから交換に出せばいいんだけど...今年中連続2回HDDトラブルが起こったからもうcrystaldiskInfoの起動音を聞いただけで吐きそう...完全にトラウマになってる…

2024-11-20 00:10:18 +0000 UTCI don't have good experiences with Seagate internal hard drives. I've had 4 fail on me in the last 15 years, but their external hard drives are pretty decent. Now I strictly stick to WD for internal drives.

Make sure you keep backups! The 3-2-1 rule: - Keep 3 copies of data (original and 2 copies) - On 2 different media (HDD, cloud, USB drive, DVD-R, etc.) - With 1 copy being off-site (cloud or external hard drive at your relatives/friends' place) I recommend setting up Windows Backup to copy your files to a second HDD nightly, and onedrive/dropbox/google cloud to run real time backup. You can keep two backup HDDs and swap them every month to keep one of them off-site for extra protection.
