Patreon is bugged
Added 2024-07-05 05:15:44 +0000 UTCAs many of you have noted, Patreon is bugged, having removed access to chapters and now Discord Roles. The bug is in how Patreon handles billing pauses.
I am desperately trying to get someone at Patreon to look into this issue, but they have no live support and an expected response time of 5-7 business days. You can submit a support if you wish to help. With enough tickets, they might escalate the problem.

I am trying to figure out an alternative way to provide access to the chapters in the meanwhile.

Support seems to be doing something finally. My access has been restored as of a few hours ago.

But i noticed sometimes when going back to the Posts tab after finishing a chapter that it won’t let u scroll past the first set of “paging” data. It’s so weird. I have to force stop the app (ios) and reload to be able to scroll past the first set of data. And it’s odd. It definitely doesn’t seem like a server issue. Because reloading is fine. It almost seems like patreon struggles with the amount of data. It’s just that the spinner icon to get more chapters turns on and it never actually gets more data. I think they have a bug with their “infinite scroll” implementation. Anyway, this is probably not the bug you were referring to. But it’s annoying nonetheless.

2024-07-05 06:04:02 +0000 UTCAll, when Patreon glitched for First Defier's page, I redid my membership and changed my payment to a different credit card. It worked and restored my access.
