Schedule Update
Added 2025-08-12 05:54:16 +0000 UTCHey all, hope you've been well. Unfortunately, I'm bringing some bad news right as we're approaching the return of DotF. I've taken August to plot and working on my technique and workflow, hoping to increase output and reliability. Mainly that's been trying to switch over to dictation since many of my colleagues have seen remarkable improvements to their productivity from doing so.
The change hasn't come as naturally to me, I'm afraid. The chapters I've produced through dictation simply aren't up to standard and they've officially been scrapped. However, I'm not ready to throw in the towel yet. I've decided to give it another week without the constraints of the resumed release schedule. As such, DotF will not return on the 15th, and is instead pushed to 22nd.
I figure experimenting like this while the subscriptions are paused would be the least painful, but I'm still really sorry about the delay.
Secondly, I will be moving the September chapters to Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday as a test. I think it might fit my personal schedule better, but we'll have to see. It might become permanent, it might get reverted after a few weeks.
TL;DR: Chapters delayed one week. Sept schedule Sun/Tue/Thu.

2025-08-16 22:21:36 +0000 UTCI can’t imagine dictating would be better but my experience is technical reports not fiction but still… Is the software even good enough to catch your words properly? If you have hand problems I get it but otherwise not so much. I hope it works out for you though.

Please take your time I would be quite upset if you ruined it. With that said I have a few requests. - please address the missing 17th peak this is a horrifying retcon if necessary and the options for it seem a little slim - please don’t destroy the multi-verse or irreparably harm it as a setting for future stories when you decide to bring this all to an end - please continue to use the various characters experiences as a way to explore the huge variance and possibility your system allows - please don’t rush the story just because the scope has become huge and the timeframes are expanding or becoming too small. - in the future when you have a chance please do some world expanding and dive into the larger world outside of Zecia and the pillar.
