2026-01-09 13:25:37 +0000 UTCGood overwiev! Thanks! Really looking forward to reading about Joannas journey with Indra Eyler. Her path seems to go from nothing to something special through shere conviction.

2025-09-27 19:01:55 +0000 UTCThe Halos (long) “The Radiant Court had only gained its third {halo} during their last adventure, putting it dead last with the Starfall Court. The Farsee Court had managed to escape the bottom rung as well, gaining a fourth halo during the last week” Best guesses: Mercurial 6 Daedalian 6 Hollow 4/5 Amina 4/5 Indomitable 4/5 Tethered 4/5 Farsee 4 Radiant 3 Starfall 3 If all four unknowns have five halos (doubtful), that’s 42 of 81 total needed. So basically, TFD is telling us we’re halfway through the Courts segment of the Trial arc. Furthermore… Astora did not tell us which two of her siblings still have their Flamebearer karma intact—or which Court they are at. Xiphos did, however, mention that two of his siblings were at the Radiant and Starfall Courts, as I recall. And the former is the home of the Templar Council. A broader look: Mercurial 6 Janos (2), Kaltosa Lu and Zac accounted for four of the six halos so far. Zac’s second Realmsinger is unknown. Daedalian 6 This is where those new Imperials are tangling with the Sangha. Galau is Zac’s only known Threadwinder. Ventus should have been here, but headed for Zac. Catheys is/was here. Sacred Insight, the Sangha’s Flanebearer, appears to be here as well. Hollow 4/5 HZac made three halos here. If there is still much work to be done… HZac, Tavza, Ogras and Ventus are here. Ventus has been appropriated by what appears to be the ninth outsider Flamebearer. Ventus and Lissa, Carl’s wife, are the two known Skybreakers. Anima 4/5 Vilari and Thea are here. There is also a second unknown Soultaker in Zac’s Cycle. Whether Thea is a third or not is yet to be seen. Also, the Endemire Sage’s granddaughter Inda is supposed to be here. I assume she knows he kicked the bucket., Indomitable 4/5 This would be Joanna and Kruta. Joanna ignited one halo that we know of, before going to meet Indra Eyler in the Court. Tethered 4/5 Rhubat and Bubbur are Zac’s Chainbreakers, and unfortunately for the former, this is also where the insectoid princess is. The Primordial may also be here. Long time since we’ve had an update. Farsee 4 Iz Tayn is here, and likely has at least one halo. Carl is caddying for her. Ibtep and Jaol are the known Plainswalkers, which is why Carl decided to jump Courts. No sign of them yet, though either might actually know what they’re doing in this Court. Radiant 3 Emily ignited the very first halo, and is the only one of Zac’s Lightbringer Sealbearers here that we know of—since Carl went to help in the Farsee. This is where the Templar Council is based, and another spot the Holy Son might need to pop by. Starfall 3 Yselio is interfering here. I’d hardly be surprised if one Zac or the other had to pop in to “fix” things before Ultom. Zac’s Reignenders are Rhuger and Ra’Klid. That Rhuger was having motivation issues last week saw doesn’t help.

2025-09-26 22:27:28 +0000 UTCI had the thought the other day that Helisent is to Zac, what Sevona is to the Stellar Wanderers. Sevona/Idiche said it herself, the Goddess Sevona never actually existed she’s a fictitious reimagining that the Stellar Wanderers kept in their (hearts) and minds… just like Zac with Helisent. I think TFD is writing out the precedent for Zac doing exactly what we hope right now and I hope Helisent becomes a Saint in his empire

2025-09-26 22:08:17 +0000 UTC“Others were far behind. The Radiant Court had only gained its third pillar during their last adventure, putting it dead last with the Starfall Court” Third pillar -> third halo I think? Weird idiche mini-arc complete! This one was good but not as good as some of the previous. Didn’t have the same thrill of discovering new stuff and overcoming issues like with earth guys void stuff or when he had te solve the garden corruption riddle and deal with Mox. Though it also might have been cos there was a break partway through so momentum stalled a little for me. In any case, excited to see what happens next! Let’s go!! TFTC

2025-09-26 13:00:57 +0000 UTCI really hope some of these people, especially Astora gets to walk out of the dream and join the Atwood Empire. Zac earlier talked about the problem it would give his Empire down the line if the many talented enemies he have raised created a to big imbalance between death and life. Where better to find talented living that can balance this than a bunch of supreme talent from the limitless Empire ;)

2025-09-26 10:43:10 +0000 UTCPeak hegemony coming soon! My one regret is cosmic forge training didn’t happen in mercurial court heart training. And void bloodline training… and thousand axes avatar… and abyssal bloodlines. You know what? He summoned a glimpse of chaos and still had his arms attached; high fives for people with limbs everyone!

2025-09-26 10:21:33 +0000 UTCThe Empyrean chalice blessing takes the heat off, it partially protects him from the heavens for his next few breakthroughs.

2025-09-26 07:22:27 +0000 UTCI think it was just her family that only had 3 slots, I doubt they could affect the trial to a degree where the total flamebearers dropped that much.
DagNabItAll
2025-09-26 07:08:24 +0000 UTCSeems like we’ll have 12 flamebearers if no one dies. Nine from the present and three from the past, I assume one will be Astoria.

2025-09-26 00:23:51 +0000 UTCIn Zac's book of "preforming to well," "forcing a Late-step Celestial into retreat, and the whole Archipelago would be teeming with corrupted invaders already if not for you. And you even took out the chosen challenger of the Belial Tribe." Is actually not the impressive. You got to remember, he took out like 2/3 Monarchs and Autarchs on his way to the trial. He's blessed by the Emperor himself and its watched by the Eternal. Honestly, with Zac's history, one might even say, he could have done more.

2025-09-25 20:24:04 +0000 UTCI think there is still at least 100-150 chapters before the trial ends

2025-09-25 19:51:25 +0000 UTCWhile I enjoyed it, I am glad we can now move on from this arc. We learned a ton of important stuff and getting a perfected core, but after all the side quests we have had since the trial started I am ready to hit peak hegemony then actually enter Ultom and the meat of the trial. Let's get some flamebearer fights, the desperate conflict for the eternal heritage, and go back to see the new state of the Atwood Empire and start the technocrat research base mission Zac needs to do for Kenzie. I expect he will hit C Grade at the end of that.
Taylor Greenwell
2025-09-25 19:48:36 +0000 UTCIn short: the Empire seems to be using the ultom courts to bridge time, and connect the last flame seeker trial with the current one. This might let the empire’s citizens step out of the dream.

2025-09-25 19:37:54 +0000 UTCThe previous time he upgraded his core he had had the Centurion Base and an Unorthodox Monarch (Surothorn The Kantanu Pope) luring most of the wrath of the heavens, even Kator took a few bolts. He theorized using the void vestige method would allow him to create an adequate protection to withstand the Heavenly Tribulation but it will take him years to learn how to use that and he's against the clock so he'll need to find an event, two actually since it will attack both of his bodies, to serve as lighting rods while he breakthrough. Fun times ahead.

2025-09-25 19:36:11 +0000 UTCThat’s literally what Xiphos promised him, something to help hold back the heavens. He even clocked that Zac has a particular problem with them, so when he said it would lose effectiveness in breakthroughs down the line I don’t think he misunderstood what exactly Zac was facing.

2025-09-25 19:08:50 +0000 UTCI stand by my statement that breaking through to Peak hegemony is going to be nigh impossible without something to hold back the heavens during his breakthrough. I will die on this hill until the breakthrough happens and is finished. On another note, I figured he'd turn down her offer. While the ridiculous amount of imperial merit is very very tempting, its not worth it to not only be hitched to her chariot but also take away her opportunity at waking up from the dream.

2025-09-25 18:59:59 +0000 UTCWell…I’m dazed and reeling from all the bombshells dropped in this chapter, not least of which is our boy’s plans to reach Peak D within 3 months. And no doubt a few more bombshells incoming with the POVs in the next few chapters.

2025-09-25 18:58:05 +0000 UTCHey, is it just me or was the first half of this chapter kinda confusing? Maybe I’m a little slow, can someone barney style it for me please?

2025-09-25 18:55:36 +0000 UTCHappy to see the island adventure conclude, really enjoyed it but the ending felt a little drawn out. Very excited for the break through prep and some chapters from the other body

2025-09-25 18:55:10 +0000 UTCAre there others of Esmeralda’s kind? Or will she be the first A grade being to join the Atwood empire? What’s the outcome post trial when she’s saved? Hopefully saved anyway. Are all the other flamebearers peak hegemony ?
Justin
2025-09-25 18:42:56 +0000 UTCPoor Zac, his core is finally perfect and beautiful and he doesnt even get to enjoy it for very long before he has to blow it up. Hopefully he can finally have a proper upgrade not fighting temporal backlash or an angry reaver while mid breakthrough. As fantastic as the action is my dude needs to do it properly this time, it's the final step of hegemony and he can't afford to leave his core a wreck again
