IMPORTANT UPDATE TO ALL PATRONS

Hello again everyone I wanted to make a big post to help be more transparent and help make things better and more sustainable here. I want to preface by saying firstly, all I discussed before is still happening. The projects and needs arent changing but I want to better explain why. Secondly, thank you again to everyone who has been so supportive and patient. I know some things have been hard for me to keep up with and we have been learning together of what I can do and not do. Through the abusive home and ups and downs yall have always understood and I want to follow through what I have been talking about these last few months of using this newfound freedom to grow this project and others away from the awkward state its been in for a while. Your support and kindness has meant the world to me. I have a lot to learn, as an artist, running a business, healing, but I've meant it when I say I'm ready to work on it.

Projects update
That said firstly I want to clarify my projects and why, and where things stand. To be transparent my new living situation is wonderful but has a slight wrench in my plans in that they expect me to make a certain amount minimum per month. In my case around $1500. So while the patreon is helping that, all my income otherwise is coming from commissions which is why so much of my time is dedicated to them right now and leaves little for my other work.

To help combat this and open more time for growth, I am adjusting my commission prices to help the time to work ratio as it really fell behind and means less total pieces to dedicate to that vs my other work.

My desire to start making products also comes from this. Being able to sell my creations will be able to also help that pressure and at the same time remain productive and let yall influence them and make suggestions.

Consequently of my commission dependance that is part of why I have been starting the comic and other projects around this period. More eye catching and social and fun stuff helps draw more eyes. I need to sustain regular amounts of commissions monthly now and part of that is just making stuff to spread out there but takes from the exclusive aspects. Which is why im trying to find things that are able to be fun for both of my communities.

To clarify a few other things such as my mention of starting mod projects and all, those are for my days off and after work me time. Serving a double purpose of a personal creative outlet but also to help get some more attention and practice.

I am still learning and having to trial and error what I can keep up with but I hope this clears up my train of thought here.

Patreon update
That said I have been thinking hard about the future of the patreon and what I can reasonably do amidst the necessities of just life and my available time as too much will just burnout. Too little and it lags and rots. I want this to be successful and happy for everyone involved.

I have been discussing this with some of you but also want to hear from everyone. I think I have concluded a balance that will be doable in my current situation and give you plenty of fuel and fun.

So my proposition is at this current balance-
1. Keep the discord but make it more cohesive.
2. Continue the 1 exclusive full render monthly
3. I noticed a overlap in commissioners and patrons and will offer patrons complete priority in what ones I take first each month.
4. A daily sketch piece patreon exclusive on weekdays. Leaving weekend to reduce burnout. I do studies and practice every day and end up throwing them away or never doing anything with it etc. It could be fun I feel to take them a little further, clean it up, and make them into a regular exclusive here for content that wont intrude or be easily disturbed by other projects of any scale.
5. Room to expand as other projects are completed such as, proper discounts on prints, products, and creations etc once those are moving. Emphasis on welcoming community input!

I feel this will be the most sustainable and content filled with where things stand and I would love to hear suggestions or issues etc as it is time to get this the love it deserves and using what we have learned to grow it.

I also want to add that the changed notes of exclusive streams and such are due to things that I am not confident that I can deliver at this time. Emotionally it has been hard to entertain and focus so I want to reserve the more direct steps for a little further down when I have everything under control.

Sorry for the long post but I hope this can bring together the scramble of the last few months into a cohesive plan that we can all enjoy!
