I'm studying in Japan for 1-2 years!

I have exciting news! Once my visa is returned to me, I will be studying in Tokyo Japan for 1-2 years! I start studying at a Japanese language school in April and I am both nervous and excited! It has always been a dream to study in Japan and thanks to you all, I am able to make it happen!!
What does that mean for Patreon? All rewards will still remain the same! All patron goods will be shipped by my sister in Ohio so you don't have to worry about extra shipping fees. Post Cards will be fulfilled in Japan and will remain the same price.
Once I am settled in Japan, I will write up a my thoughts on language school and a guide if you all ever wanted to give it a try! I tried it for a month last year and LOVED it!
I may offer "merchandise pick ups" for Patrons if you ever see some anime merch you want me to snag and ship for you (once I get used to the postage system).
In the mean time, feel free to ask questions so I can prepare for them for the next Japan update.

Oh gosh please! I'd love to see that in depth guide to how you got there and all the steps you had to take. I've been inspired by you to start learning these things and I think Japan would be a amazing start, especially for picking up my art skills. I'm only a Sophmore in Highschool but its definitely something I want to look forward to in the future. ^^

I'm planning on going for the 6 month course and if I continue saving at the rate I am I should have $15,000 by the time I go. Do you think that's enough for a shorter term? Like for the whole time? I'm planning on staying at a share house to cut down costs but I'm still not sure what a realistic

2019-02-27 00:21:33 +0000 UTCYay! I went through GoGoNihonGo to help me make sure all my paperwork was correct and free of mistakes and they honestly made it WAY less stressful. The biggest kicker is that immigration needs you to prove to them that you have $20,000 in your bank account for one year of study (or $40,000 for two years). If you got the bank statements to prove that, everything else is a breeze!
