Added 2021-07-03 01:04:05 +0000 UTCThe last few months I have had a handful of folk exploiting the end of month payment toggle I have, that I set up as a good natured test preview, but if it keeps up I will likely have to make the change back to pay on join toggle. Sorry for the inconvenience for those who has been awesome and trustworthy which is the vast majority ^^ Just starting to add up on my end and may have to take action to resolve it.

Honestly liz, i think its best to switch it to “Pay to join” that way no one can exploit it.

I was waiting to see how many subscribers would vanish just before the end of the month this time, and it was not good reading. ~~ "Pay on join" is the better option, IMO. That initial $5 gets pretty good value for money (2+ month backlog at a minimum, archive beyond that, etc.) even if people decide not to stay. $W0.02, anyhow. : )
