March Pin + More

Hi, all!

We are.. almost out of the madness of delayed pins, ahhh! Thank you all so much for your patience! Again, I feel a bit better knowing that other creators are also struggling with the same issue and it is just not me being unlucky... lol.

Here is the March pin! All the blue will be glow in the dark! I am sooo excited for this pin, ah! I am trying to make a "good vibes" theme this year, with each pin having a good message ;0; Going to see if I can make the sticker glow in the dark too.. ahhhhhhh!

Hoodies are almost done and will be shipping to me soon! I will be ordering more + more apparel next month if you missed out on those!

Also, a bit personal.. I got diagnosed with autism and it sort of make things.. click for me? Why I behave the way I do, why I react to certain things.. it's scary but it is easier to slay the dragon when you know what it is. This year, I am hoping to be kind to myself, learn better coping mechanisms, and find ways to grow my business while not letting my disabilities be pushed to the side. I am hoping that with Anxiety Fox, I can help others who are like me, including a book, and just giving back.

Thank you so much, everyone!

As a fellow peepo on the autism spectrum, I extend to you my welcome to the weird 'n' cool club. :) Anxiety Fox as a brand has been an absolute mood the whole way through since me and my sibling, who is also on the spectrum, discovered it. So it's kind of a, "oh! no wonder I vibe with this so much", moment to learn of this personal news of yours. Ultimately though, I'm glad to hear you learned more about yourself, and thus have more power to take action to better improve your life. I hope that it makes a meaningful difference, and I also hope to continue supporting your Anxiety Fox projects long into the future!

I love the pin so much! Also I got diagnosed with autism last year. I agree it does all click doesn't it, it's because it's basically how are whole mind works. Also it's not an evil dragon. There's a lot of great things about it and it's lovely to give the dragon a hug! I can understand liking that you maybe understand some difficulties that you also have because of how a lot of things aren't designed to work well with our minds, and feeling more able to work through them. Good luck figuring things out. The autism self advocacy network is a good resource. Embrace Autism is also a fantastic one. Please note there is a lot of outdated hateful fear mongering out there. A lot of the bad things you hear people claim straight up aren't true. Some famous "advocacy" groups are even just hate groups in disguise exploiting us. If something doesn't seem right see what the autistic community thinks of that group directly. Actually involving autists in advocacy done in their name is critical. I hope you can find resources that help you enjoy your autism too and work better with it. I will say autistic meltdowns make my depression really hard and that's one thing that's extra tricky for me and that I need to learn how to work with. Depression interacts differently with autism, so knowing you have it can be important for dealing with other things. Knowledge is definitely is powerful. If you like relatable memes, I also find the autism subreddit to be really comforting most of the time, and the side board and pin comments there talk about some of the abelist/harmful things to look out for and avoid (like ABA therapy as autism is not a behavioral issue and that is abuse). Just know that in a lot of cases letting yourself be your autistic self to the extent possible and trying not to mask it is often the healthiest option. Having tools to help you through things that can help you through situations that are overstimulating or such though is one thing that can be really nice. I may like to get noise canceling headphones some day. I also use a lot of fidget toys. Anyway congratulations on getting an actual diagnosis! I hope a lot of good things come from it. I still have a ton of work to do too.

I’m autistic too! Got diagnosed last year. It’s been both affirming and enlightening, but exhausting as well. I wish you all the best on your self-discovery journey! (And seconding the comment above for an autism friend for anxiety fox 🀍)

I also have autism. I'd love to see a spectrum support type character enter your line of friends if ever possible πŸ’•

Absolutely adorable! Can’t wait! I am always so proud of you and watching you learn more about yourself and growing makes me smile and I’ll always be right beside you β™₯️

Welcome to the autistic family! I'm glad you were able to get a diagnosis that helps things 'click' and make sense. Joining the chorus of voices to help if you ever want to chat about it. (I'm also wondering now if, unconsciously, this is one of the things that led me to relate with your art)

I believe in you! Thank you for the work you do! <3
